PT Octava™ was designed at ParaType in 2001 by Vladimir Yefimov. The first (Cyrillic only) version named Scriptura Russica (1996) consisting of three styles (book, italic, bold) was commissioned by the Russian Bible Society. Lately the Latin letters and bold italic were added. Inspired by Lectura, 1969, by Dick Dooijes and Stone Print, 1991, by Sumner Stone. In spite of large x-height the typeface is both space saving and quite legible at small sizes. Expert fonts including small caps (book) and old style figures are available.

Claremont is a serif font family designed by Les Usherwood (Typsettra). Usherwood originally created four weights – a light, extra bold, light italic, and extra bold italic. Paul Hickson (P&P Hickson) and Steve Jackaman (ITF) digitized the family and created eight new weights, and it was released exclusively for the Red Rooster Collection in 1993. Claremont shares similarities to Bookman Old Style, but also shares properties with slab serif Egyptian-style typefaces. Fer is a sans-serif font for body text, not lacking in its own distinctive voice. The aftertaste of reading the text set in Fer is like reading the letters on old rusty plates somewhere in Southern Europe, hence the name (Fer means iron in French). Being a modern system that includes a variable font with weight and optical size axes, Fer combines the features of geometriс sans serifs and old sans serifs with closed apertures. The typeface contains three sets of styles: for captions, text and headings, — with the weight ranging from regular to black. Fer was created with the idea to unite nations. The Latin character set supports all European languages, most African languages and Vietnamese. Cyrillic has support for all living Cyrillic languages and some obsolete characters too. The font also supports the Greek language. Additionally, the character set includes currency signs of all supported languages’ countries, old style, lining, tabular and proportional figures as well as numbers in squares and circles. This is a new barely modulated, slightly narrow, sans serif font family. It has eight styles: thin, thin italic, regular, italic, bold, bold italic, black, & black italic grouped into two 4-font families: Amico Thin with the Bold; and Amico with the Black. Amico has the standard feature set developed at the end of 2007. It has many OpenType features and 654 character/glyphs: Caps, lower case, small caps, ligatures, discretionary ligatures, swashes, small cap figures, old style figures, numerators, denominators, accent characters, ordinal numbers (1st-infinity): lining and oldstyle), and so on. It is designed for text use in body copy. However, Amico really shines as the choice for heads & subheads when using Amitale or Brinar for the text family.

Cervo Neue Condensed is the new perfected and Condensed version of Cervo Neue, containing 18 variants. It differs from the previous version of Cervo with the higher accents over glyphs, enlarged punctuation, old-style numerals and the newly added varieties Semi Bold, Bold, Extra Bold and Black. Additionally, there is the variety of grotesque. Font Cervo is inspired by a “You And Me Monthly” published by National Magazines Publisher RSW „Prasa” that appeared from Mai 1960 till December 1973 in Poland. Recently, Cervo Neue Condensed has started being used as a display text in „Przekrój Magazine” which was published in years 1945–2013 in Krakow (2002–2009 in Warsaw) as a weekly and again from 2016 as a quarterly journal in Warsaw.

The Swedish designer/typographer Anders Bodebeck designed the Bodebeck type family in 2002. The family, which includes five different styles, is primarily intended for use as a titling, or display face, and belongs to the neo-transitional style of typefaces. Transitional style type first appeared in England during the late 1750s, when John Baskerville released his first sets of type. Bodeck bears similarities to another, later transitional style typeface as well - Eric Gill's Perpetua (originally released by the British Monotype Corporation in 1928). Like these two previous English stonecutters turned masters of typography, Anders Bodebeck has given us a modern re-interpretation of classic letterforms. Bodebeck, which is fitted with old style figures, is available in the following styles: Regular, Italic, Bold, Bold Italic, and Extra Bold."

Blippo Black with its constructed style is a typical headline typeface. Its robust figures with their even strokes were composed using the basic forms of the circle and rectangle. Its curves are often not completely closed. The figures of Blippo Black form dark, heavy lines, making the typeface suitable only in middle and larger point sizes. Blippo Black will make an impression when used for flyers and correspondence.

“Nobier” typeface has has a modern look in tech flavor. Extended shapes with half circles gives these letters more unique feel but they are still legible on any screens. A modern Sans Serif — prosaic, designed geometrically, beautiful in large sizes All the dimensions of the font are based on Factor 10. The general principle of construction leads to slim forms and nearly equally wide characters. So the font appears very solid but is actually difficult to decipher in longer texts. Along with the ”normal“ Guhly Regular there are also the two versions Guhly Light and Guhly Bold, whereas in each only the vertical strokes [Guhly Light] or horizontal [Guhly Bold] have been changed in strength. The result is a very individual decorative effect which slightly reflects old circus and western scripts. The lower case characters in the version Guhly Book are, therefore, optimized to be suitable for longer texts in smaller font sizes — because after all, sometimes you should read a bit more than just the headline… The design of a shampoo bottle stands behind the creation of this sans serif display font. Prominent, clearly constructed forms with circular arcs define its appearance. This is a font primarily designed for use with capital letters — for all sorts of advertising purposes, headlines and titles. But lower case letters also belong to a good functional font; so, of course, Guhly includes them and ligatures for the more ”critical“ letter combinations as well as stylistic alternates for the letters K (or k), V (v) and o. As a decorative “encore”, the Guhly family also contains the “normal” weight in two variants: on the one hand the Guhly Cutout – these are letters without counter, as if the letters were cut out and the internal surfaces fell out; and on the other hand the Guhly stencil – as the name suggests, a stencil font with the typical bars that give a stencil the necessary cohesion.

A bold but nevertheless pleasant black-letter font which was released for the first time about 1840 by the Haenel'sche Printshop and Letterfoundery in Berlin. Haenel Fraktur contains a bunch of useful ligatures, and by typing 'N', 'o' and period you get an old style number sign by activating the Ordinals feature.

Because ebooks will not normally accept .otf fonts, and they don't support Opentype features, this font family was designed to be used for the ebook conversions of print books. It uses old style figures. The italics are slanted a bit more. And Heavy is a little bolder than the bold in Contenu Book.

Ouch! Bishops Stinger is a unique isometric display typeface, perfect for bold headlines and logotypes. The blunt serifs and terminals that appear on select letters help ground the faced-paced look. Designed after the sixties neon sign of an arthouse cinema in downtown Zurich, Studio 5 is now a typeface for many applications. The three different styles include old style numbers and alternate characters for titling. All styles have the same metrics. Bold and open styles can be layered for neon sign effects.

Impact As its name suggests, Impact, a bold sans serif, is designed to make an impression on the reader. Obviously a display font, Impact makes use of its thick strokes and blocked style, to catch and hold the eye. Because Impact is so striking, it is best placed in plenty of white space so that it does not overwhelm any accompanying text.

The Monotype Janson font family is based on types originally cut by the Hungarian punch-cutter, Nicolas Kis circa 1690. Named after Anton Janson, a Dutch printer. The original matrices came into the hands of the Stempel foundry in Germany in 1919. New type was cast and proofs made; these were used as the source for Monotype's version of Janson. The original hand cut Janson types have a number of small design irregularities which give the typeface its unique charm. These have been carefully incorporated into the new version. The overall effect is of even color and an easy readability that makes Monotype Janson most at home in book and publishing work.

One of the first messy typewriter fonts to hit the market, Chandler 42 was compiled with forensic care from the voluminous output of a circa 1942 portable. All the eccentric personality of this particular machine is intact: a slightly angled "m," filled in gaps in the most-used characters; even the number "4" is reminiscent of gasoline pump numbers of its day. Chandler 42 features edges meticulously redrafted by hand, fully developed Western character sets and is available in 4 weights, plus obliques.
