For decades - until the advent of affordable computer-generated signage - die-cut display letters were used for many applications. "Mondo Cane" loosely translates into "A Dog's World", and the subject of the travelogue documentary consisted mainly of unusual cultural practices around the world that many would find perverse, depraved or shocking.
