I decided to create Hebrewish because the only Hebrew Latino font I have ever seen didn't really live-up to my expectations. Each Roman letter and Arabic numeral in this font is based directly on one or more of the Hebrew characters. Originally I was tempted to create an upper case only - since there is no lower case in Hebrew that I know of. But, as this would have limited it's usefulness, I changed my mind and added a lower case also. Nevertheless, those who want to create very Hebrew looking text, need only use the upper case. I've also added some typical Judaic symbols for the artistic minded, e.g. David's star *, the Menorah ^(Jewish candelabrum) and brackets{ } based on this, as well as brackets [] which, used together, produce a 'Ten commandments' stone-tablet symbol(use this [~] for another version). In short, you can either have some fun with this font or use it for serious work - the choice is yours.

Devoid is a sans serif typeface with a no frills stripped down design. The design has all the features of the neo grotesk typeface, horizontally cut endings, modern capitals, oval counters, with a bare bones appearance. The typeface comes in three subtle widths, Devoid Slim, which is spaced most narrowly, Devoid and Devoid Set, which have a wider letterspacing. There are regular, medium and bold weights with accompanying italics. The vertical metrics align across weights and widths, this allows for optical size adjustment as well as adjusting for same size text fit. Petrarka may be described as a Condensed, Sans-Serif, Semi-Fatface Roman. Huh? Bear with me on this. The Fatface is a name given to the popular nineteenth-century romans that where characterized by an extremity of contrast between the thick and thin stroke. The earliest example that is generally familiar is Thorowgood, believed to have been designed by Robert Thorne and released by Thorowgood Foundry in 1820 as "Five-line Pica No. 5." Copied by many foundries, it became one of the more popular advertising types of the day. Later, in the period from about 1890 to 1950, you find a number of typeface designs with the thin stroke beefed up a bit, not quite so extreme. What you might call Semi-Fatfaced Romans begin to replace the extreme Fatfaces. Serifed designs like Bauer’s Bernard Roman Extra Bold and ATF’s Bold Antique appear. In addition, we see the development of semi-fatface lineals or Sans-Serif Semi-Fatfaces. Examples include Britannic (Stephenson Blake), Chambord Bold (Olive), Koloss (Ludwig & Mayer), Matthews (ATF) and Radiant Heavy (Ludlow). Petrarka has much in common with this latter group, but is distinguished by two salient features: it is condensed and it shows a strong blackletter influence, as seen in the ‘H’ particularly. Petrark was released about 1900 by the German foundry of Schelter & Giesecke of Leipzig and is one of the designs of the period that attempts to reconcile roman and blackletter traditions. Making a cameo appearance in this Multi-Lingual font is the Anglo-Saxon letter yogh (#729), which, along with the thorn and the eth, is always useful for preparing flyers in Old English. There are still pockets of resistance to the Norman French influence that washed up on England’s shores in 1066. In late 1988 or early 1989 I noticed that the circular form of the sickle and the linear form of the hammer could be used to form all the letters of the alphabet. The result of that realization was RedLetter, a novelty or letterbat font. It is caps-only with the lower-case letters containing smaller versions of upper-case letters.

Teapot is a font with letters on teapots. Upper-case letters have the handles on the right and lower-case characters have the handles on the left. The letters on the teapots are from the typeface InsideLetters. A revision in 2018 added some characters that can be used to create multicolored lettering. A pdf file here shows how to use them.

Snemand, in Danish, means Snowman. Quite appropriate for the last month of the year! After creating the all-caps version of Supper Club JNL, a conversation between Jeff Levine and fellow font designer Ray Larabie brought forth the idea that one of Ray's freeware fonts had a lower case that would perfectly fit Jeff's design. It is still a mystery to us why Martin Wilke's 1968 Konzept design was ignored by the digital age. It certainly has the elements of attractive yet realistic handwriting, as well as a few very distinctive letters that make it very unique in its class. So here it comes digitally under another feline name from Canada Type. We named it Cougar because the top of the C gives off just that impression. Ditto the G's casual descender, and the gorgeous a and g. With casual letters like these, a handwriting font cannot get any more realistic. Cougar is ideal for handwritten notes, both long letters and friendly short sentences. It's also great for use in scrawl design, titling, or any environment where friendly and casual appearance is of importance.

Nidex is a caps-only industrial distressed font, ideal for titles, display and headlines, rough and ready, and coming with all the usual accented characters and an extensive set of punctuation. The misprinted effect is central to the font’s design and is built-in, simplifying the work for posters and flyers, and the example above is made with Regular and Condensed. Upper and Lower Case present 2 different sets of characters, and just a few letters are distinguishably more misprinted.
