Although Los Alamos was originally designed as a complementary sister typeface to Grand Canyon, it evolved into a comprehensive and unique type family in its own right. It incorporates a unicase that is fully interchangeable with the caps, and vice versa, giving the user many different options and looks. Overland Trail JNL is Jeff Levine Fonts’ interpretation of “Italian”, first introduced in 1821 by the Caslon & Catherwood Type Foundry. Unique and somewhat similar to Faux Pas JNL with its eccentric stroke weights (opposite what is considered normal for serif fonts), the typeface features a design most associated with the Old West. Overland Trail JNL is available in both regular and oblique versions.

Caslon1821 is a revived "Italian" typeface of foundry Caslon & Livermore, 1821. The typeface quickly extended across Europe and America. It came to Russia and became very popular from France in the 30s of the XIX century. It's Cyrillic versions were offered by typefoundries of Revillion and Co., Pluchard, Semen, etc. In our version we also added support for Hebrew (with vowels).

Inspired by futuristic vehicle print designs like seen in Star Trek, Blade Runner, Altered Carbon and the Alien franchise. The goal was a clean, abstract design where horizontal, vertical and diagonal 45 degree lines are the primary guidelines. Paveline is a punctuated script; by which we mean it has the look and character of handwriting, but the glyphs are discrete entities to aid legibility. It is actually based on a moderately stylized adaptation of our chief designer's handwriting. Use it to give a handwritten touch to your work. Paveline works well as small handwriting or large scale poster captions.

The current trend is social media, friendship connection applications and personal web portfolios. This media is used to tell about existence, most people like to upload photos on social media networks, even for personal web portfolios, sometimes people prefer to see the side of daily activities rather than products which are offered. Photos are visual responses, and there are many stories that can be told from a photo. But it will look more interesting if it is added with captions. The very appropriate caption is a text in handwriting. This is what inspired us to create attractive handwriting for social media and networking. We started to do a little research to see the trends of this type of font. Here are some of our notes; 1. Texts are usually in the form of relaxed, non-connected handwriting. 2. There are several connected glyphs, usually by the letters 'o', 'i' and 'y'. And double letters like ‘ll’ and ‘tt’. We anticipate this by making ligature for common texts written concatenated. 3. For personal web portfolio needs, provide affirmation as a characteristic. So the first letter is usually in the form of uppercase which is more prominent than the lowercase rhythm. Prominent but still in proportion. So this is "Brotherhood", a handwritten font that you can use for personal brands, captions and even paragraph writing. Bague is a classical roman typeface, which was inspired in Old Dutch style, especially in the work of Jan Van Krimpen. Oculi Magni is a new sans serif type family of 8 weights with italics. This font was specially designed for the composition of texts in small size as captions or footnotes but the thin and black weights can also be used in display sizes. The x-height, as tall as possible, allows the composition of very tight, very dense texts while maintaining a perfect readability.

Based on William Caslon’s design (c1720) which was itself based on Dutch Baroque typefaces. There are many fonts inspired by Lucian Bernhard. I have always admired his 1906 award-winning poster: ‘Priester’— believed to be the birth of the ‘Sachplakat’ (or Object Poster). I have interpreted the hand lettered “Priester” logo into a formal typeface and only hope I have done it justice. Originally released by the Stephenson Blake foundry in England, Doric is modeled on one of the sans serifs of William Caslon IV, who was the first to interpret sans serif letterforms into a typeface (1816). Doric Bold has large, heavy capitals with uniform letter widths. It is often used for classified advertising in newspapers because these qualities coupled with a large x-height allow greater legibility at small point sizes.

Arkit is a ‘constructivist’ sans with a humanistic taste. Its geometric look hides an organic soul that can be felt rather than seen, as for instance in the strokes that are slightly tapered. Arkit features a big x-height and is suitable for signage and for many display applications, but it also performs well as a book face both in body copy and in captions and small-size texts.

Grossesbuch is a modern sans serif typeface. The starting point of which was the sketchbook pages. Using a wide-nib nib, I turned the nib so that the stroke was always wide. The sketchbook pages looked like posters. Later, having become interested in fonts, I decided to transfer the drawn letters and make a typeface. I think that the range of use is various accidents: posters, headlines, postcards, captions.

This reinterpretation of Caslon Rounded showcases one of the early attempts of type foundries to create a novelty ‘rounded’ typeface for general use. While the lettering might easily convey a more modern look of 1960s or 1970s pop typography, its roots definitely lay in the later part of the 19th Century and the heyday of wood type design.
