Here’s what happens when your trusty felt tip marker takes a trip to cartoonland. Each of Valentina’s plump characters has a rough and splotchy texture. Some letters even bounce up and down like a 3-year old. As cartoon faces go, Valentina is a bit on the imperfect side. But that’s normal for a funny face. Use it in a variety of comical situations. Make convincing captions under your own artwork or design greeting cards with it. You can even blow it up to huge sizes to create a wild and crazy look. Valentina Medium is now available in the OpenType Std format. Some new characters have been added to this OpenType version as stylistic alternates. This advanced feature works in current versions of Adobe Creative Suite InDesign, Creative Suite Illustrator, and Quark XPress. Check for OpenType advanced feature support in other applications as it gradually becomes available with upgrades.

Building a modular digital typeface is like playing with the pieces of a Lego. Possible combinations are induced by the shapes of the pieces. All designers must have tried something like this once. Bitmap is a simple unpretentious font. It is the first pixel font made by the Brazilian typeface designer Buggy in 2001.

Jali is a humanist sans serif typeface ideal for wayfinding, supporting Arabic, Greek, and Latin. 'Jali' means clear in Arabic, its design embodies this with low-contrast strokes, distinct marks, and a warm, readable style. Jali excels in demanding typographic spaces. Cargo TRF is a revision of existing Cargo typeface dated 2001. The new version of Cargo consists of three styles—A (plain), B (punch-out holes) and C (screw heads). Cargo TRF is recommended for use in big sizes as a display typeface. It is available in OpenType format with Western CP1252 character set.

Maple Street is a great looking traditional serif font composed by the Okaycat design team, Luke Turvey & Natsuko Hayashida, in 2014. Bold didone forms with structural seriffed detail combine at Maple Street to offer a cozy familiar style, without looking dated. This nicely balanced serif is designed to look outstanding for display or printed publication.

Typeface was designed in 2021-2022 by Alexey Chekulaev. It has small serifs and original contours, it’s also well read in small sizes. Each style has 1400 characters of Latin, extended Cyrillic, Greek, including small caps, as well as alternate characters. Diafragma is a good choice for headings, logos, branding, packaging, publications and websites.

Dessert Script is a display font in one style based on flat brush calligraphy. It combines the smoothness of contours, overall dynamics of text setting, open and friendly nature. Dessert Script is good for short inscriptions, greetings, food packaging and menus. The typeface was designed by Alexander Lubovenko and released by Paratype in 2015.

Dutch type designer Donald Beekman created this display FontFont in 2001. The family has 8 weights, (including italics) and is ideally suited for logo, branding and creative industries, music and nightlife as well as poster and billboards. FF Manga provides advanced typographical support with features such as ligatures. It comes with proportional lining figures.

London is always hip. With William and Kate and the 2012 Summer Olympics it made sense that London Doodles would be second in the City Series following Paris Doodles. 29 illustrations and a script word London. Kate’s ring, the Queen’s carriage, crown, skyline, cityscapes, cars, double-decker bus, castles, bridge, tea items, flag and more.

French type designer Eddie Baret created this script FontFont in 2001. The font is ideally suited for festive occasions, poster and billboards as well as software and gaming. FF Eddie provides advanced typographical support with features such as ligatures, case-sensitive forms, super- and subscript characters, and stylistic alternates. It comes with proportional lining figures.

Rolade is a Rounded Condensed Sans. Designed for Display purpose. Firstly designed on late 2015 as an All Caps typeface based on a personal project. Rolade has a Rounded and cute character with condensed proportion. It also come with some alternates to give more flavour and variation. Supports a wide range of latin based language.

Varial Two typefaces are new and updated versions of Varial family created 2014: Extra-condensed Opentype™ sans-serifs with small caps, extended character set (european languages support) and extra features (fractions, ligatures and alternatives). A script typeface inspired by the signature bold, we created to provide ease in completing the work as typography, logotype, poster, title, T-shirts and other creative projects. Created in 2017 with more than 300 glyphs, it's rich of alternative characters, ligature and other cool features, so it is very easy to use for it.

Bellino is a well-crafted script typeface. Drawn by Måns Grebäck during 2018, this high-quality font has beautiful letter shapes and swashy capitals. Use one or more underscores after any word to underline. Example: Bellino___ The font contains stylistic, initial and final alternates, as well as ligatures. It also has extensive language support.

Non-alphabetical font Astrosym is a collection of astronomical, astrological and other cosmogonic signs and pictograms. It contains useful symbols of planets, zodiac signs, lunar phases and even the pictures of aliens. The font can be used in scientific papers, schoolbooks, encyclopedias, calendars and women's magazines. Designer Natalia Vasilyeva. Released by ParaType in 2010.

Yefimov Serif is a contemporary serif face, with low contrast, squarish shapes of round glyphs and emphasized businesslike nature. It is one of the last original faces by Vladimir Yefimov. Yefimov Serif will suit perfectly for business texts, periodicals and corporate identity. The typeface was completed by Maria Selezeneva and released by ParaType in 2014.

Designed by Cosimo Lorenzo Pancini with Francesco Canovaro as a development and reinvention of Tarif by Andrea Tartarelli, Ambra Sans is a humanist sans typeface family, drawn around a lively, expressive skeleton but developed with a contemporary, post-digital sensibility that implies low contrast and tall x-height. In designing Ambra Sans, the authors wanted to research the elusive natural signature of handmade humanist letter shapes, in the effort of preserving it while still developing all the capabilities of type as a technical tool in the digital age. Like a frail insect preserved in amber, humanist design is the "ghost in the machine" of this font, that aims at seducing the viewers with its soft, welcoming text flow, firmly opposing the rigid, formal tone of most sans serif fonts. Born to provide a useful tool to graphic designers with branding and editorial needs, Ambra Sans develops around two subfamilies with slight but fundamental differences. The display family offers a taller x-height, optimizing readability and spacing in headings and display use, while offering a single story lowercase g to provide more consistent branding usage. The text family, on the other side, goes for a smaller x-height to give more traditional proportion to the text and removes the slight tapering in the stems to provide better rendering on screen in small formats. Both subfamilies of Ambra Sans develop around a wide range of seven weights with corresponding true italics, with Ambra Display sporting an extra heavy weight for maximum versatility. In total the family counts 30 fonts, each with over 600 glyphs for a wide language coverage. Open type features and glyph alternates further enrich the usage possibility of this typeface that wants to offer contemporary designer an alternative, unexpectedly human approach to contemporary sans type, softly preserving the spirit of handmade calligraphy while encasing its frail nature in a transparent, strong and powerful design language.

Violencia - An Illustrated Wild West Font Violencia is a hand-dawn font inspired by the legendary age of the Wild West and its tales of gunfights, train robberies and blood vendettas. It’s an all-caps design the evokes the textured style of vintage western movie posters, comics and novels. The Violencia font family includes all-caps uppercase and lowercase characters, along with numerals, punctuation, symbols and language support. It also comes with a complete set of alternative characters, all in the 3 unique styles of, Distressed, Outline and Block. Wingsart Studio Design Tip! Piano Keybuild is a small font designed for creating piano keyboard layouts. It was inspired by my Yamaha CLP-840, a wonderful digital piano. The face consists entirely of keyboard keys that can be combined to form realistic keyboards. These keys come in four styles: basic outlined keys, filler keys (for adding a second color inside the outlines), keys with note names, and pre-made sets of keys. Keys of a given kind will kern with one another, but only in the order that they would naturally occur on a keyboard. (This makes it easier to spot incorrect key sequences.) It also includes digits 0 through 9 inspired by numerals used in traditional music notation. The user guide (PDF under Gallery tab) demonstrates the locations of all the glyphs as well as how to use them together effectively.

Some time ago, when we were working on our Merrivale family, it occurred to us that an adaptation of the design, incorporating selected Blackletter elements, would be in the best traditions of 19th and 20th century blackletter revivals, which combine all the spirit of the middle ages with modern legibility-think of Goudy Medieval as an example. In the case of Merrivaux (best quality faux-medieval name there!) we've produced a typeface which has the ready legibility of Roman titling, but which gives a subtle blackletter feel. The regular form of Merrivaux is incised with a visible midline, a solid form with identical metrics is also offered. Both forms include a range of opentype features including ligatures, fractions, old style numerals and terminal forms. Merrivaux is ideal for posters, signage and design work, where a touch of that 'Olde-Worlde' feel is needed.

The “Moorish arch” treatment of certain letters on a 2001 book on Dutch design, executed by René Knip, provided the inspiration for this exotic unicase typeface. The font also includes arabesque designs in the brace, florin and section mark positions. Both versions of the font include 1252 Latin and 1250 CE (with localization for Romanian and Moldovan) character sets.

An original type family designed for ParaType in 2001 by Zakhar Yaschin. The fonts were created within 'One Touch' project. The aim of the experiment was searching for a grapheme through primitive forms and intentional avoiding 'adjusted' characters. The family includes Wood style imitating woodcut letters, and a set of pictograms. For use in advertising and display typography.

All that remains from this once so proud and glorious antiqua are steel skeletons. Destroyed. Distorted. Ruins. The main focus and usage of LamentaX are headlines, posters for event graphics and music/media/game packaging. Lamenta X was revised 2012 and now hold a full character set of basic english/latin letters and west european diacritics!

Bommer project started in January of 2014 and I am happy to announce the first family - Bommer Slab - is now ready for release. This family includes 14 weights - being seven uprights and seven italics. This font has a strong personality, that makes it perfect for use in headline sizes but means it also works gracefully within text blocks.

Correntino Railway is a product of argentine typographic archeology project called “Tipografía Histórica Ferroviaria” (Fabio Ares & Octavio Osores, since 2012). Is about the signboards of the stations of the line of the Argentine Correntino Economic Railway (1892-1969). The letter of this signboards can be described as display type, with elementary geometric shapes, vertical line modulation and slight contrast.
