Since the release of TT Norms®, we received a bunch of requests to create its narrow version and even managed to make several custom projects of the narrow TT Norms® before we decided to start creating a full-fledged commercial version of the typeface. At the very beginning of the project, we did some research and tested several options for the possible width of the typeface. Despite the fact that TT Norms® Std Condensed has narrower proportions than the original family, it inherited the classic proportions of characters, attention to detail and meticulous elaboration of each character in the typeface. The TT Norms® Std Condensed font family consists of 18 faces (9 upright and 9 italics). Each style includes a sufficient set of characters that allow you to solve most of the problems that arise in the field of graphic design, branding, packaging design or website design.

I was commissioned by the Emporium (now Macys) to digitize Radiant Bold Extra Condensed (originally designed by Robert Middleton in 1940) for use in their Sunday supplement to the San Francisco Examiner. For several years, I stubbornly refused to add the lowercase letters to the font, because I thought it looked best just used with caps, but finally relented, added the lowercase letters and at the same time created two more weights as well: Light and Medium. Used very large and carefully, these faces can be quite elegant.

'Prosto' in the name of the font is translated into Russian as “Simply”. Prosto Sans Condensed is the condensed version of the Prosto Sans font family. We created the simplest font possible, and it will fit perfectly into any design. Each line of this typeface is emotionally neutral and aims to not emphasize the text in its graphic representation, but only to use the text to convey the meaning. Having Prosto Sans and Prosto Sans Condensed in your collection is like having a universal tool that helps you every day when you need to 'mend' or 'repair' something. Introducing TT Norms® Pro Serif, version 1.100! The updated font now has new OpenType features and localization for the Serbian and Bulgarian languages. TT Norms® Pro Serif is a functional serif based on our studio's main bestseller—the versatile sans serif TT Norms® Pro. Together, they form an ideal font pair. Although these typefaces are made for each other, they can easily be used independently and paired with other fonts. So, TT Norms® Pro Serif is a self-sufficient and elegant serif, neutral at the same time. It is easy to recognize due to its gentle proportion dynamics, open aperture, slanted oval axis, and low stroke contrast. An image spotted in an online auction online of a 1940 Milton Bradley child's activity set consisting of wooden letters formed the basis for School Activities JNL, which is available in both regular and oblique versions. Although the basic characters feature chamfered corners, the nature of bending the steel rule dies to form the letters to be cut from the wood provided rounded edges as well, creating their unique look.

This is the classic style of Vilna font with Nikud and Taamim.

In predator, a fantastic sci-fi movie. My version of the fantastic script used to write the alien language, adapted into Old Hungarian runic script. Other versions are Anglo-Saxon Runic and Old Turkic Runic.

Rick Bradley - known for his Fine Hand, Bible Script, Bradley Hand and Calligraphic Ornaments - drew this font from a gravestone in Ashbourne, Derbyshire, dated 1241. The irregularity lends a special charm to this 'English dialect' version of the international Lombardic style, while the ornamental points reflect the mediaeval 'horror vacui', fear of empty spaces where the evil one might creep in with his influences. Perhaps most useful as a display font, but complete with lower case and extras.

In 1905, artist and illustrator Will Bradley devised the pattern for this charming face. A little bit quirky and a whole lot of fun. Both versions support the Latin 1252, Central European 1250, Turkish 1254 and Baltic 1257 codepages.

Stencil Press JNL was based on just a few existing sample punches from a 1920's stencil machine made by the Diagraph-Bradley company. Thanks to Neal Haynes at Diagraph for the samples and the ability to preserve this design in digital format.

Fat, bold, and comfortably bulbous; that's ITC Liverpool, designed by Kevin Bailey. The letterforms are soft and mildly eccentric, characterized by tiny counters that shift around from letter to letter like the highlights on cartoon eyeballs. Some of Liverpool's letters are reminiscent of display lettering from the '30s, yet this exuberant face would also be right at home in the '60s. Not for the typographically timid.
