I’m happy to announce the complete version of Ancora, a typeface I designed back in 2013. Ancora is a sans serif typeface with a distinctive style, inspired by the imagery in the production of the famous Port wine, such as boats, barrels, grapes, and bottle labels. Use Ancora for magazines, packaging, posters, stamps, brands and logos a new taste.

This family started as a graduation project back in 2009, coming from calligraphic studies and sketches with a broad nib pen, based on humanist proportions and inclination. From its ink and paper origins it has come a long way until the current form, being digitalized and made into fonts through the course of the last 8 years.

Viktor Solt-Bittner drew logo sketches for an insurance company. Luckily for Schriftlabor, they rejected the design, and he turned the sketches into a font family. Years later, Plantago was expanded, developed and completed by Schriftlabor’s type directors Franziska Hubmann and Lisa Schultz. Plantago shows delicate leaf-like stroke endings and subtle curvings and offers condensed and wide variants. Typeset in 6 weights from Light to Black, 3 widths from Condensed to Extended, both upright and italic, totaling in no less than 36 styles.

With Dreadnought I go back to my roots: one of my very first fonts was a scary brush typeface called Face Your Fears - a very popular typeface with horror lovers, thrill seekers and gangsta rappers. Dreadnought was created using a stiff brush and some very high quality paint on textured paper. The result is a lively, scary and very legible font. With initial thoughts of creating something tubular, I had in the back of my mind the kind of contemporary chrome furniture that became ubiquitous throughout the 60s and that concept remained with me throughout the development process. The font-styling idea worked out very well in this case, resulting in plenty of optional character variations for my chosen theme, most of which are included in both styles of light and bold character sets.

Hello I'm back with a new product, this is Benalline Signature, this is a classic Calligraphy style font, vintage and retro but still looks elegant, luxurious and beautiful. Benalline Signature is a little different from some of the existing fonts, I made a slightly different shape and added an alternative character with a more decorative shape and also I added a special Ornament and swash made especially for the Benalline Signature. HOKKIEN is an all caps sister to my other font Penang. It was inspired by some old pieces of Art Deco signage I had discovered in Penang Malaysia, The font is available in one weight for now. The font is loaded with plenty of foreign extras and currency symbols. I have also included an alternate cap S which works better visually in blocks of copy.
