The Design The basic design of this typeface begins with a transitional serif shape with sharp, shapeless corners. The name was inspired by Dutch soccer club Vitesse's rather sad decision to leave Israeli player Dan Mori behind, after he was refused a UAE visa because of his nationality. The font family Univers? is one of the greatest typographic achievements of the second half of the 20th century.
