Kyoko is a font inspired by Japan. Subway Ticker is based on a 5×7 grid, electronic display observed on a New York subway train in February 2005. Also included is a ‘Grid’ variation of the font that is slightly more spaced out and based upon a more precise grid structure.

Imagine a font that is easier to read the smaller it is – or the further away the text is. There are already many rasterised fonts, I wanted to take it to the extreme and use as few dots as possible. The result is a typeface that lives up to its name. Each individual circle makes no sense on its own; individual letters are only recognisable in the context of all associated circles, individual letters are most likely to be recognised in the context of whole words. Attached to a building wall, text would be readable from a great distance and become increasingly difficult to decipher the closer you get to the building. Placed on the ground or on a large flat roof, text would only be readable from a higher building, an aeroplane or - depending on the size - in Google Earth. Kontext has old style figures, superscript numerals, case-sensitive questiondown and exclamdown and an alternative ampersand, 390 glyphs at all. Use the same value for font size and line spacing to keep the lines in the grid, or change the line spacing in 10% steps. Change the spacing in 100-unit increments to keep the grid. The numbers in the family- and style-names refer to the (ca.) grey value of the respective background and the font itself. Kontext Dot 00-33 has e.g. a white background (0%) and 33% grey value. Kontext Dot 66-33 has a 66% background and 33% grey value. »Positive« styles (first number smaller than the second number) have kerning, »negative« styles (first number bigger than the second number) can have none.

The astype series Accolades A offers the designer a fine balanced set of calligraphic swashes, swirls and floral ornaments. The shapes are in systematic order and harmonize in contrast and detail. The shapes can be combined easily and the advanced designer can build hundreds of sophisticated compositions. No matter, whether packaging lables, invitations or greeting cards - every assignment with the need of a delightful appeal will be served well. Accolades A and A2 share the same base set of ornaments but differ in some of the major shapes. Despite these differences, the total width of the shapes will be always the same. If you are looking for some good companion fonts, give Gracia and Adana a try. Every classic high contrast stroke design like Didot or Bodoni works well. Note: To look perfect, adjust the size of the ornament font to fit in contrast the design of the companion font. So if you use a Bodoni font as companion, try to match the thickness of the thinnest part of a upper case Bodoni letter with the thinnest part of a shape from the ornament. Soleil, designed by Wolfgang Homola, is a geometric sans serif typeface. Unlike most existing geometric sans serif typefaces, it has asymmetrical counters, making it look fresher, more dynamic and more contemporary. Simple geometric forms – such as the circle or the square – played a certain role in the design of the letterforms, but in order to introduce more fluidity into the rather stiff and rigid concept of geometric sans serif typefaces, a lot of optical corrections were necessary. Soleil is based on the modernist ideas of simplicity, clarity and reduction to essential forms. Yet its letter shapes are not the result of geometric construction, but of a design process that brings together simplicity and fluidity, clarity and rhythm. Soleil has a rather large x-height, making it legible also in small sizes or from a bigger distance. The typeface family consists of six weights. The Opentype version also allows for the implementation of typographic features such as Small Caps, lining and old-style figures, both tabular and proportional, ligatures, alternate characters, case-sensitive variants and fractions. Soleil offers a wide range of potential applications: signage and wayfinding systems, book and magazine design, branding and corporate publications.

Type Tiles JNL is based on a ‘completed’ version of ‘Alpha-Blox’ by American Type Founders, circa 1944. The capitals, lower case and numerals shown in the sample sheet put out by ATF depicted type made with five-high blocks comprised of modular units spaced two points apart. These units could be combined in varying ways to create custom type of varying heights and widths and was available for purchase in both linear (multi-line) and reverse (white on black) formats. Using the 'reverse' model shown on the sample sheet, all of the characters were re-created digitally, and missing punctuation, foreign characters and other glyphs found in a basic computer font were drawn and added. The 'J' and 'T' in the type sample had truncations, so a more complete character was created for each of those letters. For those wanting an unbroken string of words or blank end caps, there is a double column space on the vertical bar key. A single column space is located on the broken bar key for shorter end caps. Type Tiles JNL is available in both regular and oblique versions

Neogram is a modern neo-grotesque type family inspired by the early roots of Swiss design. The concept was to create a neutral typeface that would demonstrate great clarity while understated in its intended use and application. Stroke contrast is slightly increased, with a more geometric letter shape giving a warmer and more robust personality. Neogram is now available as version 2.0 (2021); the remastered letterforms meet a higher level of technical standards demanded by modern-day users. Details include nine weights with matching italics, three variable widths, 540 characters, five variations of numerals, Opentype features inferiors, superiors, fractions, case-sensitive punctuation, and language support covering Western, South and Central Europe.

Paradox Runa is based on the futhark, norse elder runes. “Missing” characters has been replaced with either other “real” runes, or “new” ones have been “invented” so that the font hold all characters for the latin alphabet (A-Z + swedish Å Ä & Ö) + “Numbers” 0-9. I do not claim that this rune alphabet is totally authentic nor correct! All upper and lower-case letters are the same except for the letter S. “Ligatures” have been created for the th, ng and eo sounds. These are accessed by writing TH, NG and EO (in upper case letters). Space is automatically replaced by a ‘colon’ (':') - if you want a “real” space, write an underscore! (open type version of the font and open type compatible layout application required). Paradox Runa goes perfect with the font Paradox X (regular yet enigmatic hand drawn latin letters)!
