Whiteblack is a slab serif with a soft touch, designed for contemporary typography and comes up with 6 weights for positive and negative settings plus handslanted obliques. In dark backgrounds, especially for signage and on screen, negative settings glow and appear heavier than positive settings. To avoid the „glow-effect“ the typeface contains special weights for an optimal balance between white and black. The current trend is social media, friendship connection applications and personal web portfolios. This media is used to tell about existence, most people like to upload photos on social media networks, even for personal web portfolios, sometimes people prefer to see the side of daily activities rather than products which are offered. Photos are visual responses, and there are many stories that can be told from a photo. But it will look more interesting if it is added with captions. The very appropriate caption is a text in handwriting. This is what inspired us to create attractive handwriting for social media and networking. We started to do a little research to see the trends of this type of font. Here are some of our notes; 1. Texts are usually in the form of relaxed, non-connected handwriting. 2. There are several connected glyphs, usually by the letters 'o', 'i' and 'y'. And double letters like ‘ll’ and ‘tt’. We anticipate this by making ligature for common texts written concatenated. 3. For personal web portfolio needs, provide affirmation as a characteristic. So the first letter is usually in the form of uppercase which is more prominent than the lowercase rhythm. Prominent but still in proportion. So this is "Brotherhood", a handwritten font that you can use for personal brands, captions and even paragraph writing. So, typing is no longer monotony; it's returning full of fun. The name "Smyrna" comes from the city I live, Izmir. Smyrna is the name of the ancient city located at modern Izmir.

Inspired by a set of vintage alphabet game tile pieces, Newark JNL has similar traits to other slab serif Romans, but enough 'quirky' letter widths to break the rules and have it stand out on its own merits. The name derives from font work files in progress, often saved as 'new work' until a fitting name is decided upon. It seemed only right that this phrase be turned around into a font name itself. Newark JNL is available in both regular and oblique versions.

Golden Ticket is a digitization of hand-drawn poster lettering by Otto Heim from 1925. The regular style is meant to be used on its own, but the other three styles are meant to be used one on top of another in three different colors to create a 3D effect. For best results, put the base style on the bottom, with the fill style directly on top of that in a different color, and the highlight style directly on top of that in a third color.

The February 19, 1923 issue of The Film Daily contained an ad for Mack Sennett's new Ben Turpin comedy entitled "The Shriek of Araby". No doubt this was a spoof of the popular Rudolph Valentino film "The Sheik". The ad tries to emulate Mideastern or Arabic typography via a standard Western alphabet. It somewhat captures the flavor, but its free-form hand lettering comes off as more of a novelty-type style. This is now available digitally as Desert Sands JNL in both regular and oblique versions.

Around 1931, the Los Angeles Times (in partnership with the Richfield Oil Company) installed on its building a moving message board similar to the one at the New York Times in New York City which they dubbed an “electric newspaper”. Both fonts of the Remus family are complete redesigns of turn-of-the-century fonts. The regular style is based upon an inhouse design of Schelter & Giesecke in 1889, called Romanisch. Byngve is most suited for advertising uses, and for greeting cards. The name Byngve comes from Bo Berndal's two Christian names: Bo Yngve. He just put the two names together and it formed Byngve"."
