A picture of some cast metal letters in a 1950s architectural signage catalog was the basis for Window Dressing JNL. The clean, simple lines as well as the unusual letter form of the B and R inspired this digital interpretation.

Plan is a corporate typeface made for 'Plan A Ontwerp', a graphic design studio based in Eindhoven, The Netherlands. Based on the rough sketches of the founder of Plan A Ontwerp, Frank Vogt, Characters constructed, mastered and finetuned the complete Plan Family. Plan comes in three versions; Plan A, Plan B and Plan C. All versions can be mixed because they share the same metrics, spacing and kerning. Where Plan A is a strong display type, Plan B has more details and is therefore better suited for longer and smaller texts. Plan C is a decorative stencil version with an own personality and dynamic.

Charlie’s BarBQ JNL is Jeff Levine’s homage to some great Texas Bar-B-Q - cooked by a Cuban immigrant - served in South Florida... A true American success story, but with a sad ending. Charlie's closed because the landlord wanted the property. for his own use. Charlie now resides in Leon, Nicaragua and runs some successful business ventures there.

This is my new, completely worked over and fine-tuned Bodoni Classic for Europe (no Greek and Cyrillic). I have added a set of elegant Swashes (B) and 2 alternating uppercase swirly Initials (C) as well as two lowercase end-letters (D). The fonts A and B have extensive kerning, which the initials (C) don't need, they are aligned to replace the standard capital letter. The lowercase end-letters (D) are aligned to replace the standard lowercase letters, so you might need to add a blank after the swirl. Organic and sublime, Fansan is an Art Nouveau type family that includes roman, italic, and optical sizes. Its roots can be found in famous works such as Benguiat, Windsor, and Melbourne — worldwide typographic references which all have a sense of being imperfectly appealing. The aesthetic influence of Art Nouveau on Fansan can be seen in the top-heavy stress found in most characters. Applying this stress consistently throughout the character set was a significant challenge in the design of the family. The sharp terminals of numerous lowercase characters — including the a, f and g — provide a visual link between the upper and lowercase forms. As a result, Fansan is able to be elegant and pointed in its lighter weights, and playful and full of character in its heavier styles. Fansan is ideally suited for use at display sizes where personality is needed.
