Sonny Gothic Vol 2 is an extension of our popular font Sonny Gothic. All corners have been softened to get a friendlier and fluffy visual language. As Sonny Gothic, this typeface has ligatures inspired by the incredible work of Herb Lubalin, chiefly Avant Garde. We designed carefully Sonny’s Vol 2 ligatures, and we also created new ones to control the whites formed between softened characters such as FL, FB, FD, FE, FF, FH, FI, FK, FN, and FR. Developed with powerful OpenType features in mind. Each weight includes alternate characters, ligatures, fractions, special numbers, arrows, extended language support, small caps, and many more. This script font is inspired by the flexible nib strokes to create a concatenation of refinement with character mixing the contrast with pronounced but rounded angles. This angles along with the inktraps give the font a better performance when printing. Texts will have a very even rhythm due to its consistency on the stroke’s angle and spacing. The words can receive a dramatic touch by using the wide range of glyphs with curly and refined ornamentation. There are lots of caps and number variants dressed up with a variety of swashes. Also, two sets of versatile ornaments will be found: a first set of ending flourishes that match with any lowercase letter and a second set of independent flourishes to be placed around the words. Quarzo will give a great sophistication level to invitations, cards, tags, menus, advertising and packaging. Its character map covers Western and Central European characters.

The font is actually not a revival of ‘Avant Garde’—by Herb Lubalin—but it takes its spirit. Fibra is a geometric sans serif, yet without the typical structural strictness of these kind of fonts, that represents experimental type design. This can be seen in the contrast between curves and straight lines in some characters such as ’n’ and ‘h’ unlike rounded ones such as ‘a’ and ‘d’; details of some display characters (e.g. three upper terminals in ‘W’ and projection off the stem in ‘A’); and exaggerated terminal in ‘R’. All these features give Fibra a strong personality—a sans serif typeface that ‘gives you the chills’. Fibra was specially designed for display use. British designer Bob Newman's Horatio family is a delightful look back into the modernists experiments of the 1920s. This geometric sans serif design was created in 1971, and was originally released by Letraset. We are please to offer the family in digital form, in light, medium, and bold weights. Many designers during the 1920s were interested in reforming the alphabet, and wanted to reconcile letterforms with the machine and manufacturing technology of the age. Herbert Bayer at the Bauhaus was one of many designers who developed a universal alphabet," creating letters using only the simplest of geometric forms. Similar experiments in 1920s-style revivals were also created during the 1970s, most notably Herb Lubalin's ITC Avant Garde Gothic."

Atmosfera is a classic Didona typeface, recognizable by its extreme vertical tension, great contrast between thin and thick sticks and its straight and fine linear serifs that is angularly related to the staff of the letter, giving them an excellent legibility and a very clear and elegant appearance. Circus Didot typeface presents a rework of a typical neoclassical serif type in a constructivist style. Analyzing the shapes of characters author placed basic geometric figures — triangles, rectangles, circles… above the contours of letters. Resulting constructions staying recognizable letters at the same time bore a resemblance to pictures of Russian avant-garde artists from 20th century. This discovery has brought an idea to design a typeface where the tendency of a modern serif type to rationalism and geometry is realized in maximum possible extent. The prototypes for the project were taken from the works of Didot, lettering experiments of Russian constructivists and art deco artworks. The technique of juggling with shapes and overall grotesque approach to the design explains the selection of the name for the font.
