After analyzing each contour and graphic element, we rebuilt the font, preserving its best features while making any necessary adjustments. We have created a flawless and modern sans serif using the new technical capabilities of the studio. TT Firs Neue is a Scandinavian sans serif that combines expressive graphic elements with the versatility of use. In the latest 2023 edition, the font's display elements have become even more attractive, while the overall font balance has also been improved. This is the result of the visual research we did before working on the update. Here is what has changed. The visual elements of the font are now logically coherent. We got rid of the ones that did not suit the font's concept and kept the most attractive ones. The changes affected letters with diagonal strokes "M, N, И", and figures "2, 3, 6, 9". All round characters' shapes have been standardized for all font styles. In the previous version, all glyphs looked different: more square or oval, depending on the font's weight. We made the shapes consistent for the font to feel more integral. Glyphs containing bowls have also changed. We have worked on the balance, altering the height and shape of the bowls. Like rounded ones, we aspired to make the glyphs more balanced for all font styles. The shapes of the letters "J, M, N, S, W, З, И" and Black font style characters have changed. The individuality of these glyphs was slightly different from the whole set, which became apparent in larger sizes. We have improved the shapes and made them more suitable for the font's style. Letters with diagonal strokes and triangular glyphs, such as "A, V, Y, D". We have brought the characters to a consistent logic in their shapes by refining the angles and weight of diagonals in different font styles. The glyphs' terminals follow the same logic in the new version. We have preserved and perfected the old shapes. Ligatures and stylistic sets have been updated entirely and expanded. We have researched Scandinavian languages and designed ligatures and diacritical sets that would definitely be useful for designers. We have redesigned diacritical marks, figures, and punctuation marks. Now all characters follow the same logic and contribute to a well-balanced impression of the font. The character set in each font style has been increased from 934 to 1719, and the number of OpenType features—from 24 to 40. The new font includes 23 font styles: 11 roman, 11 italic, and 1 variable font. The variable font has also become a significant technological advancement for TT Firs Neue. We retained a warm sentiment towards TT Firs Neue's previous success while redesigning the font and implementing substantial alterations. The 2023 font has been developed according to new technical standards that have become significantly higher in the past 5 years. TT Firs Neue is a font well-suited for a wide range of contexts. Glypha was designed by Adrian Frutiger and appeared with D. Stempel AG in 1977. The font consists of ten cuts and is formally based on its predecessor, Serifa, although its lower case letters are a bit larger. Like Serifa, Glypha is also based on the general scheme used to design Univers.

Sadi Slab is designed to be used on small scales like book texts, newspapers, magazines etc. Also its large counters make the font suitable for digital screens. The anatomy of the typeface gives a formal appearance which is a more fitting choice for subjects like law, finance, medical science etc.

Vatican is a calligraphic face. The lower case is influenced by the lettering of Arthur Baker but the caps are more formal, the shape of the Cap V reminded me of a Bishops Mitre which led eventually to the name. The lighter weight works particually well in small text pieces

A compact geometric sans serif typeface influenced by Bauhaus and the early modernist era. The family was designed by Ceyhun Birinci in 2020 with an inspiration to create a contemporary super family with inspiration from classic sans serif families. It's a workhorse family consisting of condensed, narrow, normal and expanded widths. Each width has a wide weight range from thin to black, along with their true italic counterparts. With more than 770 glyphs per font, It offers a ton of language support from all the Latin languages to Cyrillic.

Magdelin is a minimal yet warm gothic sans with normal and alternate families. At its core, the design has simple forms and low contrast, yet it takes some qualities from the humanist class with its calligraphy or cursive-inspired details found in the italics and the bowl shapes of characters like b and d. The small x-height, longer ascenders and descenders, and semi-condensed proportions give it a bit of a vintage or classic feel while still appearing contemporary and modern.

Danish type designer Jan Maack created this display and sans FontFont in 2008. The family has 18 weights, ranging from Light to Bold in Condensed, Normal, Expanded, and Extra Expanded (including italics) and is ideally suited for advertising and packaging, logo, branding and creative industries, poster and billboards as well as sports. FF Cube provides advanced typographical support with features such as ligatures, alternate characters, case-sensitive forms, and stylistic alternates. It comes with tabular oldstyle and tabular lining figures.

Goudy Modern/Open was designed by Frederic Goudy, who was inspired by the caption of a French engraving. It is Goudy's first attempt at a "modern" face, but with less contrast and rigidity normally found in Bodoni style Modern faces. Goudy Modern was designed later in 1918 after viewing a proof of Goudy Open with the line filled in. Not a true modern face, but still a Goudy classic. The Pro versions include ligatures, varieties of numerals and Central European character sets.

German type designer Svend Smital created this sans FontFont in 1999. The family has 6 weights, ranging from Regular to Bold in Condensed and Normal and is ideally suited for film and tv and editorial and publishing. FF Super Grotesk provides advanced typographical support with features such as ligatures, alternate characters, case-sensitive forms, fractions, super- and subscript characters, and stylistic alternates. It comes with a complete range of figure set options – oldstyle and lining figures, each in tabular and proportional widths.

Spanish Main is a revival of an old MacKeller Smiths & Jordan font named Sloping Black. Like most foundries MacKeller Smiths & Jordan doesn't display all the letters of the fonts in their specimen books so it took a little more time to find the complete character set for this old beautiful classic font. New in this version is the addition of a Greek character set which is experimental as you normally don't see Old English style fonts include a Greek alphabet.

Edits and Credits JNL is a cheerful sans serif typeface modeled from ceramic letters in a movie titling set from the late 40s or early 1950s. In the original kit, letters would be lined up accordingly against a contrasting background and photographed for home or professional movie and slide titles. Note: The cap height is slightly smaller than normal for the respective point size. This will give the effect of wider line spacing - similar to that of home movie titles.

Feltboard JNL was drawn from images of letters and numbers contained in a felt board (also known as a flannel board) sign kit from the 1940s or 1950s. The irregularity of stroke widths and character shapes is representative of the actual shapes of the die-cut pieces found within this kit. Note: The cap height is slightly smaller than normal for the respective point size. This will give the effect of wider line spacing - similar to that of hand-made signs.

The Brazilian illustrator, Flavio Morais, devised this amusing display alphabet to have his own font for his former website. We helped to digitalize it and encouraged him to complete it with a series of “chiringuito” drawings. More about his work here.

This circa 1910 European face was introduced into the United States by a German type foundry traveling salesman during the great depression of the 1930s. We have used it quite successfuly in sizes as small as 10 and 12 point.

Namex is a handwritten font with serifs. It tends to be a slab serif style while maintaining the hand-drawn shape, making it look original and non-standard. We recommend you use this font for retro and warm decoration designs.

Dolce Caffe was a handwritten font designed in the 2011 inspired in some berliner menu. Now we developed a 3D, 3D Rough and a Shadow version. They are very legible and high in style and carefully constructed all-uppercase letters.

Based on one of the earliest Tuscans, from Thorowgood's foundry. The original was very poorly rendered in 1822, but keep in mind that decorative types were still quite new in the early 1800s. We redrew it, but kept it recognizable.

If you look into the past to see what was expected of us in the future, Amoeba is where we wanted to be by now. Amoeba is a constrained but quirky future font, designed on a computer by a human.

Many similar fonts existed in Europe around 1900 and a bit before. This one was made at the Wollmer Foundry in Germany and, except for adding the requisite modern monetary symbols and other such niceties, we preserved it quite faithfully.
