The basic type design for National Spirit JNL is known by many names, and has gained popularity since its use on the NRA posters of the Roosevelt era. This all-purpose font gets an extra boost of patriotism by the addition of stars. Its clean look typifies the Art Deco feel of 1930s America.

The hand lettered title on the cover for the (ca. 1917) sheet music for “After the War is Over” provided the design inspiration for National Nouveau JNL, which is available in both regular and oblique versions. A precursor to the Art Deco movement which would arrive within the next decade, this bold thick-and-thin design embraces the elements of both Art Nouveau and Art Deco in one type design and gets its name from the patriotic spirit of America during “The Great War”.

National Parks JNL was based on a 1930s WPA (Works Progress Administration) poster where the word "National Parks" was hand lettered in an unusual and eclectic Art Deco style. Bold and non-conformist, the typeface is available in both regular and oblique versions.

Albion Sharp Italic is an elegant sharply cut italic display face. Its classical elegance is ideal for setting headings alongside conventional body text faces, and an ideal way to imbue such settings with a little life and energy.

A classic blackletter Which looks best at 16pt and above. Due to the modular nature of this design there may be a slight lack of smoothness to the curves at very large point sizes (around 100 pt and above).

This rollicking fun face is based on legendary lettering artist Alf Becker's Super Thick-and-Thin, his twenty-third offering in "Signs of the Times" magazine. The package includes two fonts: a full Adobe Standard character set, and an Alternates version, which features the more extreme elements of Becker's original design.

This font is based on a little-known work by master type craftsman Frederic Goudy called—wait for it—National Oldstyle. Use it when a blend of classic and slighly quirky is called for. Both versions of this font support the Latin 1252, Central European 1250, Turkish 1254 and Baltic 1257 codepages.

A collision between some stylin' caps from legendary lettering artist Samuel Welo and a lowercase loosely based on ATF’s Romany Script yields this curious little wonder. Named after a 70s song which averred that all it took to be “the coolest guy what is what am” is to talk fast, walk slow and look good wearing that 'hair. Please note that, due to the exaggerated overhang of the many of the uppercase characters, this font has been optimized for upper- and lowercase uses. This family was created -- inspired from the engraved typeface (Two styles : Normal & Italic) used in the pack of 52 playing cards who was describing the 52 counties forming a small Atlas of England and Wales and depicting English roads for the first time, published by Sir Robert Morden in 1676. Our OTF and TTF versions are covering Western, Eastern and Central European languages (including Celtic), Baltic and Turkish, containing historical and standard ligatures plus specific Old English abbreviations. The MacTT Classic version is containing the basic standard 256 glyphs including some extra ligatures.
