Cassandra Plus is my revised version of Cassandra, it can now be used all over Europe except Greece and Russia. I changed the weights a bit to make them more distinct. The Font has two widths of letters, wide Capitals on the (shift) uppercase-keys and narrow ones on the (no shift) lowercase-keys. You can match them as you like, but you should avoid having the same letter in one word in two different widths. But if yoyu are really daring you can use one narrow S and a wide one, it might still look good. It will almost always look good! Cassandra is my “bow” to Adolphe Mouron Cassandre. Monospaced become very popular among graphic designers. Nevertheless, I’ve noticed that in most cases that designers use monospaced typefaces is not because of their particular features caused by the strict rules of design — all characters share the same advanced width — rather because of it’s ‘electronic derived’ appearance. So, I decided to create a typeface that keeps the characteristics that, in my opinion attract designers to this particular sort of types, but deliberately break the main rule: characters do not share the same width — but they they look like they do! Characters are better balanced compared to truly monospaced types, giving more even typographic color while used in text setting. One weight might enough to please electronic type lovers. Originally released in 1995 as a three font family, Paradigm forcefully addressed the emaciating effect that digitization was then exerting upon traditional serifed typography. Investigating the new media of a much previous era, Nick Shinn deconstructed the first roman type, designed by Sweynheym and Pannartz in 1467, and gleaned, from its minuscules, the low contrast and discreet serif treatment (portrayed by a novel convex effect), which he subsequently applied to both capitals and lower case of a classically proportioned Venetian invention. In 2008 the glyphs, metrics and hinting of the 1995 fonts were refined, Extra Bold and Light weights added, a full range of OpenType features instituted, and the number of characters per style increased almost threefold. While uniqueness might be considered the main goal among type designers, our goal in this project was to be as far away from that uniqueness as possible. We designed MB Grotesk with strictest typography standards, holding fast to the type axioms long understood from the beginning of modern typography. After more than 600 hours of work — creation, production & release — the whole typeface family the MB Grotesk is a flawless branching away from the original Grotesque category. Included are 351 standard glyphs designed with geometric rules and grotesque type theories. MB Grotesk has 7 weights & their italics. It supports many languages including most languages which use both Latin and Cyrillic alphabets. We are looking toward extending this family to include condensed, extended & Arabic versions as soon as possible.

LECO 1976 is a headline display typeface in OpenType format. The title at the 1976 bottle of Lečo became an inspiration for creating this font. Besides the regular weight of the font, the font is drawn in light and bold font styles too, while each of these typefaces consists of a special alternative of an embedded diacritic. The font contains several specific styles as Stencil, Pixel, Tride, Shadow which combinations offer interesting possibilities for the typesetting. The metrics and kerning of every glyph of the font (except several glyphs in Bold) are identical. All the signs share the same character and size of the capital letters. This font is best used on strong posters or as a headline display typeface.

HS Ali was designed in memoriam of my brother - Ali Abu Afash who was martyred during the last aggression on Gaza in summer 2014. HS Ali introduced a modern OpenType Arabic typeface, which had the characterstic, features of Kufi style with noticeable both curvy and sharp segments; beside the refinements of its letters that made it more readable. HS Ali is a display font that has been designed to be used in titles in modern graphic and publication projects. It supports Arabic, Persian, Urdu and Kurdish languages and contains four weights: Light, regular, medium and bold which can be condsiderd as and elaboration to the library of Arabic fonts contemporary models that meet the variant purposes of designs for all tastes.

Camber is the last in a personal series of squarish sans. It is a noiseless typeface with a geometric base, it has a synthetic and clean design, but with a human sensitivity where the geometry fails. It tries to be more versatile and simpler than its predecessors, with a pragmatic approach, having less visual noise and virtually removing the disturbing elements. The family is generous in width meeting a certain shortage of wider fonts. Camber works well in both display and text, it is a multipurpose font suited for magazine, branding and web. The type family consists of 14 styles, 7 weights (Thin, UltraLight, Light, Regular, Medium, SemiBold and Bold) plus italics and it’s available in Open Type format. Grandis ("chainlink") was initially intended for a first person shooter’s UI, so this guided the design. The font had to be readable while maintaining sci-fi feel and also to not rely on kerning (most video games don’t support it). This meant a large x-height, steep diagonals and squared bowls to reduce the amount of white space between letters. Tabular numbers as default facilitate UI design where timers or tables are involved. What makes the font stand out from similar grotesks is the letters’ classical proportions with wide bowls and narrow rectangles. The result is a readable, versatile workhorse with an interesting dynamic rhythm and where extreme weights/widths can also be used for display purposes. Supports multilingual Latin and Cyrillic, including Bulgarian and Serbian alternates.

The digital outline fonts, DIN 1451 Fette Engschrift and Fette Mittelschrift were created by URW in 1984 and are the basis for all DIN font families. Both typefaces were designed for the URW SIGNUS system and were mainly used for the production of traffic signs. They have since become so popular in other areas that we have developed a complete DIN font family with 48 styles in OpenType Pro: URW DIN. It is semi-condensed, which is unique among the DIN fonts, so it has a broad spectrum of typographic uses. Its large x-height makes it perfect for use in e-publishing (web, apps, e-Books etc) and its adjusted stroke width between the regular and bold weights enhances its quality and distinguishability in print.

After inventing a new metal typecasting procedure that allowed for the production of more detailed typefaces, the famous German typefoundry D. Stempel AG developed Kuenstler Script in 1902 - 1903. Originally called Kunstlerschreibschrift (artistic handwriting), this design was based on English copperplate script styles from the late 1800s. In 1957, Hans Bohn added the heavy Kuenstler Script Black weight to the family. Like intricate handwriting put to paper with a feather and an inkwell, Kuenstler Script makes almost any text look distinguished and elegant. Kuenstler Script is a joining script; and because of its fine hairlines and small x-height, it is best used at sizes above 12 pt. The typeface works well in advertising work and on invitations, greetings cards, business cards, and certificates.

Fox is a completely new typeface based on my previously designed Fox family font, which has been in distribution by T26 type foundry since 2001. Old Fox typeface design decisions were reconsidered in a way to improve legibility without sacrificing its originality. This new Fox family consists two subfamilies: Fox TRF and Fox Sans TRF. Fox TRF is upright italic typeface with light, regular and bold weight styles. The most distinguished Fox characteristic is the lowercase letters. Their curly, playful and vivid letter forms were derived from handwritten lettering then carefully shaped and adapted onto sans serif category. Fox typeface is recommended for use as a display font, and has been generated in a single OpenType format with Western CP1252 character set.
