Soft Lime is my simple, yet powerful typeface. It definitely fits in the comic department, but is very useful for posters, postcards (do anybody use these anymore?!) greeting cards and anything that needs a legible handmade typeface. It comes in several versions, that can be mixed for great results - and of course they all have multilingual support!

Reading is fun; legible with a playful wiggle, a bit of texture, and a lively set of double-letter ligatures. Reading wants to be read aloud and sounded out - lightened by comic relief and sweetened by a bit of style. The upper case is relatively straight, the lower case - slightly jumbled, and Reading’s numbers have excellent curls.

The sheet music for the 1914 Word War I comic novelty song "When the War Breaks Out in Mexico I'm Going to Go to Montreal" had one of those overly-worded song titles popular during this period (13!), along with interesting sans serif hand lettering. It now debuts digitally as Conscription JNL in both regular and oblique versions.

A decorative capitalis font inspired by the renaissance font Rotunda and old calligraphic foundings. From the beginning my aim was to design a font which focusses on simplyfing historical typography. I wanted to give people the possiblity to write with letters which refer to history but still are readable and modern. It is perfect for headlines and logos that need a historical touch. The font Lucrezia and its dangerous forms (the stitchy endings) are also inspired by the history of Lucrezia Borgia, who as we know, was a very mysterious person.

Metal Cry is a font family that was inspired by countless hours spent playing video games, watching old movies or reading comic books. And even more hours closely analysing the design of all these things. The art of creating beautiful letters has slowly declined with the rise of the digital age and its solid-colour, 2D fonts. And most of the time, the care given to typography in cultural products just isn't what it used to be anymore. This was the inspiration for Metal Cry, a family of 4 layerable fonts that can bring a feeling of depth to its letters, and offers endless possible combinations. Is a recreational typography. Created from experimentation of the Slab Serif style with asymmetric lines. Bock is compact and stable, although having the quality of breaking the typographic rhythm, to benefit its use in short words as logotypes and lowering of text in editorials and publicity. The Fat variable was devised as an extension of the Bock concept, deleting the inner and outer space that surrounds a letter, creating a font with much weight and attitude.

Vector is inspired by the 1979 Atari Asteroids video game UI screen font, yet it has been completely reworked to achieve a more balanced and refined visual aesthetic, loosely adhering to the original source. Letterform widths, angles, metrics and kerning are thorougly tweaked throughout in an effort to recreate a modern classic anew and extend it's functionality. Stylistically, Vector accurately reflects it's name, exuding a uniform sense of flatness and rectangular geometry defined by it's retro-modernist origins.

The inspiration source for Diamas Monogram is a vintage publication called “Bibliotheque D.M.C: Alphabets et Monogrammes 2nd Series”. This wonderful design is representative of the diamond shape monograms that dominated monogramming at the time. This monogram style is now digitally recreated and revived for modern use in Diamas Monogram, with two letter monograms and a selection of additional frame styles for a final classy touch! “I Don't like No Cheap Man” is a piece of early 1900s sheet music featuring its title hand lettered in a condensed slab serif design. The influences of the Art Nouveau era are clearly found in the many eccentric character shapes within the various letters of the original artwork. Recreated in digital type, Tightwad JNL is available in both regular and oblique versions – and its font name is a variant of the “Cheap Man” portion of the song’s title.

For Vega antikva, too, 16th and 17th century typefaces stood models. I made a free interpretation of them, with a nice result, if I am allowed to express myself. Vega antikva makes a beautiful impression in books, but even as a web typeface it behaves well. The name Vega can be traced down to a constellation, a mathematician, a writer, a movie character, or a research ship, as you like. Now there is a typeface with that name, too. Vega antikva was released in 1994.

NorB TypeWriter Roughen is the roughen version of my NorB TypeWriter typeface witch's my emulation of the IBM Selectric 'Light Italic' ball witch was used by my grand-brother for his correspondance during the 70’s and 80’s. It's however a slanted mono-spaced looking typewriter font. You may want to use this font with any word processing program for text and display use, print and web projects, apps and ePub, comic books, graphic identities, branding, editorial, advertising, scrapbooking, cards and invitations and any casual lettering purpose… or even just for fun! Mi negra is a funny and hilarious typography designed especially for children, thought and created by Isabel de Gregorio. It could be described as an original combination between a semi-handwright and semi sans-serif font. Thanks to its structure and nice endings "Mi Negra" is recommended for composing short texts (logotypes, packing, posters, etc.). It may similarly be used for illustrations and comics, as well as in printing press works for children from 6 to 13 years old for instance. Mi Negra has been conceived to be a useful support in all kinds of illustrations works (please note that Isabel, the type designer, considers herself primarily an illustrator). The font designer of Mi Negra tells that every time she needed to provide some text data (i.e. in children infographies) and needed to make them more understandable and suitable for children, she used this typography. The former idea was than to create a font who could be a second option to comic sans, but as the project started to reveal its forms, it was clear that it was revealing another connotation and its own character. In this way, Mi Negra went on modifying its forms and the more it developed, the more it was showing its new characteristics and concepts. The family is composed of three weighs: Light, regular and black. It provides also interesting functional ligatures. It also includes a dingbat with nice doggies. It has 434 characters and can work with 208 languages.
