NorB Pen was inspired from Arial Round font, I use this font for my jazz lead-sheets. It's a handwritten text font emulating a round marker permanent pen. Another variant to the ever-popular Art Deco sans lettering with solid centers (no counters) was found in the hand-lettered title on the cover of the 1933 song "There's A Ring around the Moon". This became the basis for the digital typeface Moonlit Walk JNL, available in both regular and oblique versions.

A new font inspired by vintage hand-painted paper signs. The Doorbuster Collection is based on retro hand-painted paper signs primarily seen in grocery stores from the 1920s through the 1970s. We meticulously hand-drew each font, modeling the spacing and uneven baseline found in vintage sign painting. The purposely organic ascenders and descenders, along with a huge set of ligatures/contextual alternates to avoid the same letters repeating when paired, give it a real hand-lettered look. Doorbuster Plug is perfect for both vintage-inspired and contemporary marketing, branding, and packaging designs. It's a classic workhorse font from the 1950s thru 1970s. Michael Gills, formerly a resident designer at Letraset, created the Fling typeface in 1995. Fling's letterforms are based on the Ronde --or round--script style from France. The design includes intricate and generous capital letters, which are contrasted with a more reserved lowercase letters. This allows for a sophisticated and elegant appearance in text. Fling's letterforms are highly legible for those of a script face, and it is a typeface with many uses. Aside from short amounts of running text, Fling's capital letters serve well as initials. In the Opentype font are extra ligatures and alternative letterforms thatoffer expanded typesetting possibilities.

Venetic is an extinct Indo-European language, usually classified into the Italic subgroup, that was spoken by the Veneti people in ancient times in northeast Italy (Veneto and Friuli) and part of modern Slovenia, between the Po Delta and the southern fringe of the Alps, associated with the Este culture.[3][1][4] The language is attested by over 300 short inscriptions dating from the 6th to the 1st century BCE. Its speakers are identified with the ancient people called Veneti by the Romans and Enetoi by the Greeks. It became extinct around the 1st century when the local inhabitants assimilated into the Roman sphere. Inscriptions dedicating offerings to Reitia are one of the chief sources of knowledge of the Venetic language

Harpsichord (as I have named it) is from the late 1940s and was designed at Lucian Bernhard Studios in New York for Bernhard's Magnetype Collection. It was originally published as 'Community Low' along with 'Community Condensed'. Many of his Magnetype Fonts have been dormant which I hope to revive in the near future.

Tarocco is a typical book face with good readability and rather tall x-height. The origin for this typeface is found in Nordisk Antikva. A typeface especially constructed with attention for the Swedish language. Waldemar Zachrisson was determined to realize his ideas and in 1906 he began to cooperate with the foundry Genzsch & Heyse, based in Hamburg. Some influences of Jugendt can be found and the typeface were released in 1910. It became rather popular until around 1930. The MRF version includes 7 weights all together.

Trapped home during the Coronavirus outburst of March 2020 the Zetafonts team found some solace from the world-wide anxiety by designing letters for the #36daysoftype challenge. To fight dark thoughts and spread some good karma we decided to add a free font twist, selecting the best glyphs drawn to develop a collection of ten free typefaces for download. We did our best to make this little gift to the community valuable, though developed in record time: although playful and excessive, these typefaces all stem from our current research in contemporary trends and historical design solutions, bridging calligraphy and design. The typefaces have been published daily starting Monday, March 30. You can download and use the typefaces in any way you desire, as they are totally free for commercial and non-commercial use. We are not asking anything back, but feel free to share the good karma and, if you want, please consider a donation for hospitals.
