We gave this new Font a special touch by adding an extra family-member: a stencil-version of the SPECX. My inspiration for the SPECX is based on the cover of a 1955 French School-Notebook. Totebag JNL continues the stencil font series from Jeff Levine originally inspired by classic lettering stencils of the 1940s and 1950s. This particular design is common amongst "painting stencils", the individual letters used for marking and identification. Some characters are solid shapes while others have the more traditional "breaks" in the letters.

Teterboro JNL is a bold, slab serif font built (in part) on the letter shapes from Jeff Levine's stencil font Interboro JNL.

Vexillum is a new and modern look at a classical serif font and inspired by a flag-like object used as a military standard by units in the Ancient Roman army and typography arabic-persian. Pochoir is a sweet stencil antiqua typeface with round and thick serifs. Once, on a university trip to Paris, Yanone saw some spray-stencil street art. This inspired him to redraw Underware’s Dolly (with permission) in a spray-stencil style, making many adjustments to weight and character shapes to bring about Pochoir. The art form of stencils have first appeared in Paris in the 1980s.

Deskplate JNL is a solid version of the stencil font Stencil Mark JNL.

Three Day Pass JNL is another addition to the large collection of stencil fonts from Jeff Levine. This design was based on a 1980s clone of a popular lettering guide first sold in the 1950s. To the untrained eye, many of the stencil designs look the same - but there are subtle nuances in the shapes of the letters and numbers that makes each font unique and slightly different.

Imagine shaping letterforms and messages from dough or chewed gum. This is Chewbrio in essence; No straight lines, no closed shapes and no sharp corners. Chewbrio is a fresh take on stencil.
