I created this font to capture the innocence and playfulness of doodle lettering that is created in schools everywhere. Typographic rules are non-existent and the characters are sometimes oddly and incorrectly shaped but that's exactly what gives it charm. What really got me started was Napoleon Dynamite, his drawings and "typography". This font does not mimic what you see in the movie at all, but it attempts to capture the same spirit of high school "doodle typography". My favorite line: "I am pretty much the best artist I know". The font was named after Boondoggle keychains, the other craft most scholars acquire at some point in their school careers.

Wardruna Arabic is a method of writing Arabic with a Runic-like alphabet devised by Devin Lester. He imagined that if some vikings had settled in the Middle East, they might have started speaking Arabic and writing it with a version of the Runic alphabet. This particular alphabet is based on Tolkien's Cirth Runes. A band of vikings went to Baghdad after raiding in Europe. The markets in Constantinople were closed as the Turks had just sacked the city. These men had heard of the great market in Baghdad and went there to sell their wares, seeing that this land was warm and fertile they decided to stay. They ended up settling the land and taking Arab wives and having children, because of thier Northern European accent their Arabic evolved into a part-Arabic dialect of Iraqi arabic. This is why today you see a few Arabs with green eyes and dark blonde or red hair. The Arabic alphabet was too fluid for them and vikings disdained the use of paper as a persons writings could be burned, so the evolved their runes to fit Arabic.

I regard Sabio as an evolutionary face. By this I mean that it merges elements of script and Roman design into one elegant whole. The design was 'evolved' somewhere between these two classic approaches. The resulting family of faces makes an excellent display family, but is also clear and legible at small sizes and can be used as a text face with a distinctive flair. Sabio is a wonderfully flexible face that can sit happily alongside artwork that owes its inspiration to any era from the Art Deco onwards. Often it is hard to express ourselves and our emotions. Thus, the idea of emotional typography and fonts was born. This is a detailed font with many lines and shapes. Overthinking, by nature, is done by logically thinking through all the different scenarios and outcomes for one particular thought or situation. Bound to rules, unbound in the usage. Hyper geometric, and minimal contrast. Circulo V1 is based on a font project I originally started because of a client I had. I wanted to create a display and text font for their product design brand, which is all about reducing the amount of necessary materials and production steps. Before I started the course at tipo-g it was called -“REDUCE“ and was more or less finished. The concept was based on the name. How far can letter shapes be reduced to their core geometric concepts and still be identified as letters? But in a way, it lacked a unique approach and was just a generic geometric Sans Serif with a lack of finesse. There was already a glimpse of characteristics visible which would later define Circulo V1. ‍ The high focus on geometric shapes was not of the same severity, and the angle on the stems was less intense. Those, as I call them, fake serifs turned out to be a significant factor in legibility and the characteristic of the font. Besides those changes and improvements, I decided to implicate a new feature to the concept, a condensed style. I quickly realised that it is impossible to keep my perfect circles and half-circles in this style without breaking my rules for the font. This „problem“ turned out to be the most crucial feature of the condensed set. Circular-based Letters will ignore the rules and boundaries of the condensed style and stay as they are. This feature allows the user to create a unique rhythm in their texts, and if you use the variable font, you can decide how intense this rhythm will be. In this situation, the user can choose which letters are allowed to keep their shapes and which will be put in their condensed corset. All, some or none of them, you decide.

In this new version we've removed any alternatives that could not be shared across all weights in the family and we've trimmed a few others that just were not practical in keeping a consistent look to the whole font. All the alternates now have matching accented glyphs across all weights. Case sensitive forms have also been added to all weights. With 14 weights the difference between weights are closer together which may give you the effect of a variable font where variable fonts are not supported. For technical reasons the original Gold family has now been split into two families with Gold having ten weights and the four heavier weights under the Gold Magnum family. The Gold and Gold Magnum font families support accented characters for western, central and eastern European countries. Gold comes with OpenType features to access the alternate glyphs however you will need an application such as Adobe Creative Suite to take advantage of alternate glyphs.

Edgar No. 9 is an original design by Alex Kaczun. Edgar No. 9 is a derivative work based on his Big Boy typeface series. It was designed specifically for display headlines, logotype, branding and similar applications. Primarily a display, this extremely versatile font has generous proportions, large counters and loose fitting which also allow the font to work well across a wide range of text sizes. Edgar No. 9 is a heavy baroque slab serif and although it shares the underling skeleton of 'Big Boy', it is a much more compact in overall proportions and spacing. A handsome bold headline font that works well in text as well as display sizes—ideally suited for publications and advertising. Alex plans to expand the font series to include a large range of weights along with corresponding italics numbering 1 thru 9, as well as, true small capitals and old style figures.
