As of my last knowledge update in April 2023, Architect by Altsys Metamorphosis is not widely recognized as one of the mainstream fonts, and detailed information specifically referencing a font named "Architect" directly associated with Altsys Metamorphosis is limited. However, I can provide you with a general description based on the naming convention and typical characteristics of fonts stylized or named with architectural themes in mind.
Fonts that are named "Architect" or have architectural influences tend to mimic the handwriting of architects, which is known for its clarity, uniformity, and distinctiveness. Such fonts are characterized by their neat, legible style often resembling the precise and clear hand-drafting techniques found in architectural plans. They might include both uppercase and lowercase letters but typically favor uppercase for labels and annotations in architectural blueprints.
An architectural font like one might infer "Architect" by Altsys Metamorphosis to be would likely possess straight lines and uniform stroke weights, reflecting the precision and linear quality of architectural drawing. The letters might have a slightly tilted axis, emulating the rapid but deliberate strokes of architects’ handwriting. Numbers, often just as crucial in architectural notation, would be designed for clear readability, possibly featuring distinguishing characteristics for similar numerals such as '6' and '9', or '1' and '7', to prevent confusion at a glance.
Altsys Metamorphosis was a company known for its development of Fontographer, one of the first widely available Bezier drawing programs capable of creating and editing PostScript fonts. Given this, it's conceivable that a font such as "Architect" associated with this company would have been designed using early digital font design tools, demonstrating clean vector lines and the possibility of varied weights or styles, catering to diverse design needs.
It's worth noting that over time, many fonts get updated, renamed, or fall out of widespread use, and newer fonts may be released with similar names or design intentions. Therefore, if "Architect" by Altsys Metamorphosis refers to a specific and unique font, it might be a specialized or less commonly referenced typeface, with specifics hard to pinpoint without current or detailed documentation.

Font choice doesn\'t hold when I type in MS Word. Must type everything and then select everything to change the font. Never had this problem with a font before. Any suggestions?

a font should not be affecting a particular program in any fashion
