Goldie Sans is a clean sans serif that is perfect for logos, quotes, long-form copy, and more. Both uppercase and lowercase are included in light and bold, but I am particularly fond of using it as an all caps font for logos, headlines, and short quotes. This sometimes-top-heavy, sometime-bottom-heavy, sometimes-centered typecase is based on an old Photolettering face designed by the irrepressible Dave West, originally called "Nickelodeon". That name was already taken, so I chose another with a nod to the 1953 film starring Leslie Caron. Both versions of this font include the complete Unicode Latin 1252 and Central European 1250 character sets.

Metropolis Bold was commissioned by Publish magazine for their 1990 redesign. Although other digital versions exist, I think this was the first one and is characterized by extremely pointy serifs. It is well to remember in laying out copy for Metropolis to allow plenty of white space in the layout. Metropolis is based on the 1932 Stempel cut as designed by W. Schwerdtner.

Initially commissioned in the summer of 2009 for a popular North American ice cream parlor chain we cannot name, Tuba started with a reconceptualization of a somewhat flawed '72 alphabet idea by Swiss graphic designer Erwin Poell. During the back-and-forth of the custom project, other ideas seeped into the design, mostly from other Canada Type fonts, like Fab, Jonah, Jojo and Teaspoon. The end result was what the client called a "sugar circuit trigger alphabet". This now is the retail version of that project. Tuba's main style is a straight-forward mix of 60s/70s art nouveau ideas and late-70s/early-80s tube aesthetic. The Highlight and Outline styles are almost necessary spinoffs for this kind of typeface. And the all-caps Black style is a nod to the fat font fad of the past couple of years. All styles contain many alternates – so many that each style is almost two fonts in one. Make sure to check out the character sets for a few nice and useful surprises. Life's too short. D Sert—based on the Pirata typeface—is inspired by 70s Chilean constructivist design and the political propaganda posters artwork of La Unidad Popular (Chilean political coalition). D Sert is the result of the combination of the Chilean graphic art revival with new trends, such as the handmade movement and super font families. The super family comprises 47 weights and comes with two versions: D Sert and D Sert Alt, plus extras. Diagonal strokes are significantly different between the two versions: diagonals of the Alt version are much more logical than the diagonals of the normal version. Another difference is the bowls of the capitals: in the D Sert version, they slightly project above the cap height, making it a more daring version and bringing it closer to calligraphy; contrarily, in the Alt version, bowls do not project above the cap height, which makes it a more tidy font. This way, the combination of the two versions and extras provides the user with the freedom to create any kind of artwork.

Nicely scribbled script font. It has a masculine, wild and wild mood. It also has a feeling of being torn. It is good when you want to use a lively atmosphere because of the fast flow of strokes. Linotype Escript is a part of the Take Type Library, which features winners of Linotype’s International Digital Type Design Contest. Hans-Jürgen Ellenberger designed this handwriting font with fresh, lively forms. Komusubi is a new font family from Hajime Kawakami. It features Latin as well as Katakana and Hiragana. This lively display font comes in regular and bold for all three alphabets. In Japanese, Komusubi means to tie up a string or ribbon lightly. The Nipponian lyrical atmosphere of the word "Komusubi" reflects the casual tone of the font itself. There is also a "Komusubi" rank of the Japanese SUMO.

Grandezza Xtra is the standalone version of my most elaborate script. It is the script for many countries, good for Basic Latin, Latin Eastern Europe, Turkish, Baltic. This typeface was drawn to create short headlines (quickly) for one of my projects (a set of illustrations featuring The Evil Rat, imagined character). Each character (here I mean "glyph") has it's own personality, mostly evil one (jokingly) — that is why the font is called "The Monsters". The font was drawn on paper, then scanned and traced. It has both Latin and Cyrillic sets, since it was used with both. Monsters are good for short notes of comic or ironic style.

Mystery Shot is not your every day all-caps comic font. It is handdrawn with a permanent marker, which explains the sometimes rough edges. I've made 2 versions that mixes for great results. The stroke of the outline version is designed to fall slightly off here and there, and that was done on purpuse to enhance the handmade look of the regular version. What's more is that I added 5 slightly different versions of each letter, and the font has multilingual support!

vastra is a slim, futuristic, bauhaus inspired typeface. It has plenty of those pesky foreign glyphs and various alternates of the standard alphabet. It’s available in 5 different weights from light to Heavy and is complimented by 5 italicized versions of the 5 different weights too. I wanted this font to look like background set typography in a 70’s sci-fi movie. D A N G E R You can buy it in singles, pairs or the whole damn brood.

The concept was a "back to basics", minimalist typeface constructed mainly with straight lines and circles or circular arcs, but without departing from the classical style of Roman & Greek lettering. Notable requirements were: an extensive character set needed for multi-language documentation, as well as a full collection of symbols and alternate glyph forms (e.g. superiors & inferiors) for scientific use. Special care was taken to obviate the almost identical similarities that were prone to appear between letters like uppercase "i" and lowercase "L" or between Latin and Greek letters such as "a" and "alpha". This was also a prerequisite for scientific notation where ambiguity is not acceptable. All in all, the font would have to blend a modern design with a wealth of functional features. Consequently, all of these were made possible by choosing the OpenType format for development, resulting in a comprehensive and feature-rich font family specifically targeted for use in high-end design/typesetting applications.

Here I present Round - a type family that is derived form Epilepsja, which was my first alphabet commercially out. After its release I came to think that there should be other fonts of this design that would enrich the variety of choice. Here comes ‘Epilepsja Round’ which is soft and friendly while the Regular family remains firm and sharp. It supports all Latin-based European and African languages and acts as a multicolour layered font. best for headlines, titles and other display uses.. It is an all-caps alphabet of stencil-sprayed and painted letters found in the city space. The glyphs are simple but unordinary. Every letter has something from Escher-like 3D illusion, but is flat simultaneously. Epilepsja Round consists of three styles: Outline, Solid and Fill. Outline is the base from which the other two styles are created. When you mix Solid with Fill, you can create two-color Outline style. You can even mix it with not-Round Epilepsja! Solid is neat and legible in small sizes. Use it for posters, headlines, magazines, websites or anything you like.

A highly decorative and playful font, inspired doodle drawings. It has this Scandinavian vibe in a funny and lively way. It is a cute headline font with straight strokes and rounded ends, giving it a rice cake feel. The initial and final consonants 'ㄹ' were designed differently to give a fun sense of rhythm, and the straight strokes and lively curves added personality to the writing. It contains Hangul, Korean.

Here’s a simple, classic hand-lettered gem, based on an old photoface named Adonis. Suitable for headline or text use, it’s a refreshing and lively alternate to Comic Sans. All versions of this font include the Unicode 1250 Central European character set in addition to the standard Unicode 1252 Latin set.

A heavy-set but lively font, Kendrick’s dense strokes were hand-painted using a thick wet brush. This all-caps set of letters is bold but brushy, textured and expressive; fun but very much meaning business. Kendrick is streetwise and no-nonsense, but with a big cheesy grin to boot.

Classica Pro by Bernd Möllenstädt A real alternative for letterpress printing A masterpiece It was only after many years, shortly before the end of his life, Bernd Möllenstädt brought out these early drafts of his Classica Light and Light Italic from his drawer, and asked me to produce for him on the computer a Bold and Bold Italic, from which we later wanted to interpolate further cuts like Regular and so on. The boldening of letters with an oblique axis and with hairlines which should not grow to the same extent as the general line widths, is hard to cope with perfectly, even for the smartest computer program, and even more so, when it concerns an as complicated set of data as those conceived by Bernd. The automatically generated result could therefore only be a first step that had to be improved manually later. This was about the stage that we had reached when Bernd died in March 2013, leaving me behind with comprehensive corrections on proofs of this automatically generated Bold. Although I was aware that it would mean a lot of work to complete the project, I did not want to leave it unfinished and decided to finalize and publish the Classica, also in Bernd‘s honor. In the course of the two years that I worked on this font family it somewhat naturally became also my own. New details were added and some of the existing changed. A book typeface requires the supreme and forgives rarely, it represents a true masterpiece. My intention and my ambition were to create a real alternative for letterpress printing, with a font family that contains all the typographic options for an excellent typesetting, and is better readable and has a better appearance than other existing typefaces. Hello! Let me introduce Cohen – a handwritten font named in memory of the great poet and singer Leonard Cohen. On the day he passed away I did my routine calligraphy practice and wrote a part of his song 'Night Comes On'. You may see this work in presentation pictures, and after time I designed a font based on this calligraphy. Cohen signature font is perfect for logos, branding, web, blog headlines, invitations, magazine and book design, product packaging – or for any text on postcards and on your favorite photos. Cohen includes: a standard set of characters with wide multilingual support: Western-, Central- and Eastern-European, Baltic, Turkish, Latin-type Africans, and Asian (94 languages in total) two additional character sets: lowercase letters with alternates shapes and lowercase letters with a little end-swash - for the position at the end of a word 39 ligatures for double letters and frequent combinations Cohen has a large number of embedded context-dependent auto-replacement features that give the text a natural, handwritten look and correct inharmonious combinations of letters. These features work well in many apps (even simple ones like Notepad/TextEdit), and if you need to customize their application – you could use programs that support OpenType features (for example, Adobe apps or CorelDraw). All these additional glyphs are PUA-encoded, so if your software does not support OpenType — you could access them through Character Map (Windows) or Font Book (Mac). Lythmore This font is called Lythmore and is inspired by Lithos. Lithos was originally designed for Adobe by Carol Twombly in 1990, based it on the lettering from ancient Greek inscriptions. The Capitals are similar in feel and design, but is totally original and built from scratch. It is designed to be similar intentionally, but it is not a clone or rip off. Lithos is an example of a simple blocky san serif font style, with subtly concave sides, angled ends, and off centred curves. Lythmore is also an example of that same style. But is also different in places where I felt it could be improved. And it has a complete lower case set, which Lithos doesn't. I built Lythmore with 8 different weights. Lythmore can be very effective when used in advertising and general display work, but it can also be used for much more. Although it was never designed to be body copy, when used as such, it is still perfectly readable and adds its own version of sans serif style and flavour. I have included two versions of the Lythmore family. Lythmore A and Lythmore B. In the Lythmore A family, the lighter 4 weights all vary in weight in both the horizontal and vertical axis. The heavier 4 weights all vary in the horizontal axis only. In the Lythmore B family, the transition is even in both directions across the entire family. The result of this difference is that the A and B versions difference is most noticeable between the Regular and Medium weights. While the extreme ends of each family version are virtually identical.
