For Monumental Gothic, we delved into the archives and found some old rubbings and photos of monumental brasses from British tombs of the 12th and 13th centuries. The sources included famous monuments like the tomb of Richard II and less well known inscriptions with similar style lettering. The rubbings were made by Dave Nalle in the 1970s (when they still let you have access to the the brasses). Monumental Gothic includes some alternate characters, plus upper and lower case characters, numbers and a selection of very interesting decorative emblems to complement the text.

Leksa Sans is a humanist sans-serif face with some contrast. The family consists of 14 faces (upright & true italic in seven weights from Extralight to Black). Designed as a sans-serif companion for Leksa, Leksa Sans works perfectly either with it or alone. It is suitable both for text setting and for short inscriptions. One of the main features of the typeface is its professionally-designed Cyrillic which (together with serif companion Leksa) was awarded for excellence in type design at Modern Cyrillic competition in Superfamilies category.

The font accelerates the process of adding inscriptions and eliminates the need to redraw the same letters every time. The lettering is based on a simple felt-tip pen. The lines have minimal contrast and are not meant to be perfect. A simple and uncomplicated design goes great with a happy holiday mood. This font is an adaptation of the cyprus syllabic script to a Latin-based font. I tried to assign as many correct letters as possible, but there were too many characters so I had to fit them. Please review the alphabet table of Cypriot syllabic to use the Font. To see all the characters, you can see all the characters and add them to the text by selecting this font from the add character section on the word page. Cypriot syllabary The Cypriot syllabary was used in Cyprus from about 1500 and 300 BC and is thought to have developed from the Linear A. The earliest known inscriptions from between 1500 and 1200 BC are in an unknown language called 'Eteo-Cypriot', or 'True Cypriot', and the script in which they are written is called Cypro-Minoan. From around 1200 BC Cyprus began to be colonised by Mycenaean, Minoan and possibly Cretan Greek settlers, and they probably adapted the existing script to write their own language - the oldest known inscription in Greek dates from the 11th century BC. Cypriot Greek had much in common with Greek dialects of Arcadia and Pamphylia, which corresponds to the province of Antalya in Turkey.

Font Etruria is based on a real Etruscan inscriptions and realistic accurately simulates the writing of the Etruscans. The idea of the font Etruria is to give an opportunity for anyone to touch the past of mankind! The character of the Etruscan alphabet involves the creation of a font with only uppercase letters. However, I did not limit this font by that. Etruria has not only a lowercase is different from uppercase, but an additional sets of alternative characters. In General, the main characteristic of Etruscan writing is randomness and diversity of characters. Differs from lowercase to uppercase is only the first step on the road to make randomness effect. Next to the aid of the OT features. To recreate the randomness effect, in Etruria there are several OT features (Contextual Alternates, Stylistic Alternates and Stylistic Sets), which built a script to simulate randomness. Additionally, another script creates the effect of random positioning. Together they create incredibly realistic Etruscan inscription. Thus, any of these features can be disabled at will. I also used a small line spacing, because it is characteristic of the Etruscan writing. Actually the Etruscan writings is a mirror of the writings compared with the current European alphabets. I didn't use this feature all the letters, because this would make the font difficult to perceive, but to make the font characteristic of the Etruscan style, Etruria has a few letters in mirror image. However, if for someone it may seem unusual, mirrored letters can be disabled instead of them will appear more familiar to them. Another feature of Etruscan writing is the use instead of a space dotacentered. Font Etruria has this feature, there is a OT feature Stylistic set ss03. Naturally, it also can optionally be disabled. All these features can be used together, separately, or turn it off. The main goal achieved! The text typed in Etruria, creates full impression of these Etruscan inscriptions.

Drop Caps happen. They started off life as decorated initials way back when in the days of illuminated manuscripts. Then printing came and they became the work of the rubricators and then somewhere soon after printing began, at least by the 1490’s, they were printed directly into the text. This then is a collection of over a hundred glyphs from that closing decade of the Incunabula period. All of them are based on examples found in the works printed by Michael Wenssler in Basel. This font also contains a few useful pointing hands and a set of spacing characters.

Origen is a typeface inspired by the illuminated manuscripts whereby the text is accompanied by a decorative capital letter at the start of the text. The family is formed by three different weights (light, regular, bold) and an additional decorative set of capital letters. Each of the four styles has characters to write in all Latin-based languages. It is an Open Type font. The Origen family is a hybrid between Textura and Rotunda fonts, characterized by a dynamic calligraphic flow. Origen is also playful as it can be use in editorial, advertising and packaging designs to capture viewers' attention through refined details.

Noyh A is altered from the form of the original Noyh to give an addition to the Handmade type. It’s delightful being used alone or in combination with Noyh. You may find it on art publications, in fancy cafes, or even on marriage invitation card. Features include Bistro which has rough edge and the smoother edge Cafe with options of texture to add variations to the type. It also comes with Manuscript and Handdrawn designs that match to them and support caption texts. Element and Handdrawn patterns are available to complement the 17 letters of Noyh A.

The Farfa fonts were designed for institutional use, commissioned by the City of Fara in Sabina, Italy. This project started from the study of the manuscripts found in the Abbey of Farfa, penned in a variant of the lower case of “Carolingian” typical style of that area. The Capital, ligatures and Small Caps, however, are based on the uncial writing that often appears in those codes and manuscripts. Farfa Abbey is a territorial abbey in northern Lazio, central Italy. It is one of the most famous abbeys of Europe. It belongs to the Benedictine Order and is located about 60 km from Rome, in the commune of Fara Sabina The origin of the Abbey is still unknown. Archaeological discoveries seem to prove that the first monastic establishment was built on the ruins of a pagan temple. The Vandals destroyed the first monastery in the fifth century. Only a few documents from the sixth-century prove the early presence of the monastic community. It had the heritage of Charlemagne (S VIII), the Lombard chiefs, and later the Carolingians, succeeded in withdrawing Farfa from obedience to the Bishops of Rieti, and in securing many immunities and privileges for the monastery. Farfa was at this period the most important monastery in Italy both from the point of view of worldly possession and ecclesiastical dignity.

PiS VinoZupa is based on a logo found on an old Serbian bottle of brandy. The vintage 1971 plum fuel burns down your throat and blinds your eyes, the serifs you draw grow bigger and bigger with every sip you take. A Western-style slab serif font, coming from the finest distilleries in an Eastern European village. Features heavy caps with a few alternating glyphs in the lowercase letters and all the nice diacritics you need for super-drunk Serbian babble.

Amberday is a modern display serif typeface to be used more than just as a header font. When I was creating this typeface my first though was to create a light font but strong enough to stand as a header font. This is the rounded version of Penta! »Penta« is a new Sans typeface, designed in the American tradition with contrast between the up- and downstrokes. The contrast is hardly visible on the »thin« cut, but the heavier the weights get, the more contrast becomes visible. That makes this font very useful, almost linear in the lighter weights and very distinct rhythm in the heavier ones. »Penta« is extremly versatile, it can be used for bodycopy in the lighter weights and for heavy headlines.

Bungehuis font was modeled on the lettering found on an Amsterdam art deco building from 1931. This building on the Spuistraat, also called "Het Bungehuis", used to house offices, but is now part of the University of Amsterdam. In 2015 it had its brief moment of fame, when students, demanding more democracy at the University, occupied it. Bungehuis is a heavy art deco font and would look great on posters and in headlines. It comes with a rather democratic range of diacritics.

WOLFSZN Anniversary! WOLFSZN is the tenth Font of André Toet. The inspiration for this capital alphabet came from the trails of an agricultural machine (think tractor) leaves in the soil after working the land. But it’s not meant to be ‘like a heavy workload’, in fact to us it seems like a very useful Font for headings, logotypes, advertising or films.
