Sharik Sans (named after the brave and smart dog-hero from my favorite TV series) has a warm and gentle personality. It does not shout; it does not stand out. Sharik serves his master in everyday work. Although it is a sans serif, you can feel a calligrapher’s touch in its subtle details and endings. They shine out, especially at display sizes. The family consists of nine weights plus matching italics. It meets most of the needs designers deal with on a daily basis, including web usage. It is stuffed up with various OpenType features such as small capitals, a wide set of numerals, fractions, ordinals, alternates, and, of course, ligatures. In the 70's I went out with a girl whose father was a card-carrying member of 3 of the biggest unions in the printing arts. He gave me 2 things, a pre-war Linotype specimen book and an ancient 'how to' lettering book that contained 30 or 40 script specimens from lettering artists of the time. Tiamaria is the developed glyphs of one of these specimens. Tiamaria is the name of one of the islands in the Galapagos chain.

Pax is clearly a didone, using Vox classification. The contrast between the thin lines and the thicker ones is noticeable, as you would expect from a didone. The basic form is relatively narrow, therefore I designed another Pax, slightly wider and darker, and called it Pax #2. Otherwise they are more or less identical. Pax is Latin for peace, on everyone's want list in 1995 - as well as every single year before and after that. Pax was released in 1995.

For this Byzantine Empire calligraphy font, I had to work for 2 weeks and 3-4 hours a day and search the internet. It made me very tired, but I finally finished it, and it was good. This font can use both latin keyboard and greek keyboard. I also added Greek unicode characters. I will adapt this font to the latin alphabet, I will make the full character set font, this will take less time. I wish you good work.

Mystery Shot is not your every day all-caps comic font. It is handdrawn with a permanent marker, which explains the sometimes rough edges. I've made 2 versions that mixes for great results. The stroke of the outline version is designed to fall slightly off here and there, and that was done on purpuse to enhance the handmade look of the regular version. What's more is that I added 5 slightly different versions of each letter, and the font has multilingual support!
