G&G is the only authorized digitized version of the original handlettering of early 20th Century architects Charles and Henry Greene. This font is both accurate and authentic -- it was adapted directly from the Greenes' original plans for The Gamble House in Pasadena, California, and others. G&G contains both Upper and Lower-case characters, consistent with the Greenes' use of lower-case to explain fine construction details on their plans. G&G is very successful in creating the illusion of hand lettering.

Spanish Main is a revival of an old MacKeller Smiths & Jordan font named Sloping Black. Like most foundries MacKeller Smiths & Jordan doesn't display all the letters of the fonts in their specimen books so it took a little more time to find the complete character set for this old beautiful classic font. New in this version is the addition of a Greek character set which is experimental as you normally don't see Old English style fonts include a Greek alphabet.

Random Thoughts is a selection of of quite simple handmade capital letters. They are legible, almost mono-lined, handmade and they are a bit jumpy - but never the less, they suit a headline that needs a catchy look very fine! I've included 4 different versions of each letter. One lowercase, one uppercase and two contextual alternates. These 4 different versions automatically cycle as you type, leaving your text quite random - but still very clear and legible! And, of course, there is multilingual support!

Rebnick is a sans serif typeface where in the early design process, the adjacent stems and bars weren’t weld seamlessly and perfectly. Popsmart means "smart or skilled in a superficial, self-righteous or annoying way" - but when I was young in the 1980ies, it was a positive thing to be popsmart. At least in Denmark! :) Anyway, I find this font to be smart in a positive way: It has a bouncy appearance ( with help from the Contextual Alternates, the font cycles the 6 different versions of each letter!) and a "go-ahead-and-type-anything-and-it-will-end-up-looking-good" kinda vibe.

F .H. Ernst Schneidler, type designer and teacher, originally designed Schneidler Old Style in 1936 for the Bauer foundry. Stempel Schneidler is based on the typefaces of Venetian printers from the Renaissance period and possesses their grace, beauty, and classical proportions. The Stempel Schneidler, a completely reworked and tuned font family made by D. Stempel AG in Frankfurt, is a fine, legible text font that also works well in display. One of Schneidler's more unique features is its question marks.

In 1990 I designed the font XLeafMeAlone. In 2006 I decided that it was time to improve it. Instead of adding to it, I created two new fonts containing almost 200 leaves: MapleOaks and More Leaves. Among the leaves you will find in MoreLeaves are elm, cottonwood, tulip tree, ash, hickory, locust, ginko, aspen, sassafras, hawthorn, beech, and birch. There are also a few that come from shrubs and I am not sure what they are, but they looked interesting so I put them in. You will not find oaks, maples, or sycamores--they are in MapleOaks. Why leaves? Because people like them. As a large part of the biological world that is all around us, leaves are fascinating in their shapes and endless variations. In XLeafMeAlone I took about 50 shapes and rotated them 180 degrees to give a typeface with approximately 100 glyphs. In each of these two typefaces, MoreLeaves and MapleOaks, there are almost 100 glyphs. Each of those glyphs is rotated in 90-degree increments to yield two families of four typefaces that should be very useful if one wants to create borders of leaves.

Boring Sans, designed by Cosimo Lorenzo Pancini, is a typeface family designed along two variable axis: weight and weirdness. These two parameters allow designers to explore a full range of variations on sans serif design, starting from a neutral set of proportions and evolving to a strongly contrasted and dynamic treatment, ready to raise eyebrows on social media. ITC Photoplay is another gem from Nick Curtis. Unearthed from the 1927 edition of Samuel Welo's Studio Handbook for Artists and Advertisers, the design's original suggested use was for title and caption cards for silent movies. A monoweight design that bridges the gap between turn-of-the-century decorative type and Art Deco, ITC Photoplay is both casual and stylish. And, yes, the cap S" is supposed to look that that. To expand this already handy typeface's versatility, a Black weight has been added to the original design. Curtis has also created an array of alternate characters, a couple of conjunctions, and a handful of "bishop's fingers" to help make your point. ITC Photoplay is eminently suitable for all those occasions when you need to say, "Unhand that fair damsel, you dastardly cad!", and really mean it."

Coal Brush is a bit of a misleading name. It looks as though it was made with a brush, but it was, in fact, made with a almost dried out old marker pen. But a font named ‘dried out old marker pen’ doesn’t really fly, so I decided to pimp the name. There you have it, you can’t even trust an honest typographer! Marker pen or brush, Coal Brush is a very sweet little font. It is all caps, but upper and lower case differ and can be mixed freely. Plus there’s a hidden stash of alternates for the lower case letters and an alternate ampersand! I actually threw that in to make up for my lie. So, use it for your books, your posters, your rap albums, rock operas, grilled food restaurants and designer BBQ sauces. It’s yours for the taking!

Inspired by the old Stephenson Blake Caps only font Algerian from 1908, this version, named Algerian Mesa, has been freshened up with a new matching lowercase. The original Algerian, on page 142 of the 1908 Stephenson Blake specimen book, was a small caps to a more decorative lining caps and the plain black version, without the shadow line, was named Gloria. Also on page 142 of the 1908 Stephenson Blake specimen book is a shaded Latin font that gave me the idea for the Alt version of Algerian Mesa. The Alt version works well at smaller point sizes combined with the regular Algerian Mesa font on the same page. New for 2016 were Opentype features including original alternates, oldstyle numerals and case sensitive forms, also new is a fully usable Alt version. New for 2022 are the higher x-height, 90% small caps, 80% small caps and all new italic versions. Also new for 2022 are straight sided accent marks replacing the flared or curved accents. While Algerian Mesa includes some alternates our related Tavern font will still remain the version with more alternates and more weights.

SK Shriftovik is a geometrical, caps and small caps only, sans serif typeface inspired by the works of constructivists of the early XX century. Due to its structure, this display typeface is good for posters and magazines. The SK Shriftovik typeface supports many languages, including extended Latin and Cyrillic. The font contains many ligature combinations and stylistic alternatives that significantly transform the text.
