Calligrapher Insular Minuscule Font, is one of the calligraphic group of fonts called “21 alphabets for Calligraphers“. All graphemes are taken from calligraphic pages written on traditional Insular Majuscule calligraphic stile. This font is ideal for calligraphic sketches or for imitation of ancient manuscripts. Font contains all the Latin glyphs.

Quiroga Serif began in 2007 with the name Quadratta Serif. This typography was designed for continuous text, legible at medium and small sizes, with great saving of space, optimized for 6, 8, 10 and 12 points. The morphology is a mix between tradition and innovation; it has a vertical axis, thick serifs, tall x-height, light modulation and a lot of internal space between letters: key to improve legibility at small sizes. Formally, my idea was to make a serif type that had a unique color, this is visible due to the light modulation. This is also complemented with the incorporation of not common, alternative signs. Some parts of the letters that are usually curb or diagonal where made horizontal (for example: a, q, p, etc.), this makes the eye of each character to be wide and unique. The serifs (wedge type) suffered diverse variations during the process. At the begining they where thicker and ended vertically, but this caused a great deal of printing errors. And so we decided to modify them by giving them an angle to avoid visible errors in medium and small sizes. The ch, and ll ligatures where rescued because they are a part of our current spanish alphabet. The historic ligatures and stylistic alternates give different options to users who want different alternatives within a text. The accentuation signs were composed in a middle line above all signs to avoid visual shock. We also gave plenty of importance to small caps numbers, mathematical signs and currency signs so that the could interact well.

Choc font is the work of French designer Roger Excoffon, based on the traditions of Japanese brush calligraphy, thick yet graceful. Morris Fuller Benton started the Bodoni revival with this version for ATF in the early years of the 20th century. We consider it the first accurate revival of a historical face for general use. HK Kelie is a light to medium-contrast typeface with swashy, medium bracketed serifs, and terminals in the appropriate places, as well as bracketed junctions in various letterforms. The main feature of the typeface is the disconnection between the bowls and the stems. However, the bowl is very close to the stem, creating the illusion of connection. HK Kelie is calm, attractive, and legible — but above all, it is sophisticated.

David Berlow drew Romeo Medium Condensed during winter of 1990, basing the design on the Estrecha Fina weight of Electra, a spectacular art deco sanserif with an unusually fine condensed series. Bolton Commercial revives and updates one of Greater Albion's designer's earliest typeface families, Bolton, which was recently used on the credits of a popular UK television series. The family consists of five faces- Regular and Obliqued, Blocked, Embossed and Engraved. All have a late Victorian/Edwardian feel and are ideal for posters, signage, Book covers...and of course television credits! Bolton Commercial combines the virtues of flair, fun and legibility.

High Fidelity is our funky new variable font that was inspired by an incredible vintage poster we saw at the NYPL (sadly, the designer wasn't credited.) First we developed the ultra wide top-heavy style. Then, unable to resist the dynamics of variable type, we added the narrow width and violà our first variable font was born. We then added "drip" and "stretch" axes so you can play around and customize it to your heart's content. We think it works for anything from album covers, posters, social media, apparel - really anywhere you need a fun, expressive look.

When Ray Larabie donated some font work files to the Stella Roberts font project, he suggested that whenever possible the design get reworked to reflect some update and change.
