Pablo is the work of British designer Trevor Pettit, who based this dramatic typeface on the signature of Pablo Picasso. Choc font is the work of French designer Roger Excoffon, based on the traditions of Japanese brush calligraphy, thick yet graceful. Templit JNL is one of a number of fonts modeled from actual lettering stencils by Jeff Levine. Some of the letters and numbers have solid shapes rather than traditional stencil breaks in the characters.

One good pun is worth a simple description… Nondescript JNL… 'Non' - not. 'de' - of, in Spanish. script - a cursive (handwritten) letter form. So… while nondescript generally means lacking any defining description, in this case it also means "not of a script"… which is precisely what a typeface such as this one is!
