Conceived specifically for intensive editorial use, whether it is in newspapers, magazines or digital media, Abril is a font family of two worlds. The titling weights, based on a contemporary revamp of classic Didone styles, display both neutrality and strong presence on the page, attracting the reader’s attention with measured tension in its curves, good color and high contrast. It also features typographic niceties such as ornaments, borders, special dingbats and alternate letters and numbers that propose a broad palette of tools to the designer. The text weights are more closely inspired by both, 19th century slab serifs and scotch roman types. They maintain consistency with the headline styles, and at first glance may appear to have the same shapes only with lower contrast. However, in reality the letter forms of Abril Text were engineered from scratch to achieve a color, texture and overall width that allow using the font comfortably in the most challenging environments for continuous reading, such as newspapers. This also makes it a great font family for pocketbooks and magazines. Abril competes, in terms of economy of space, head to head with some newspaper classics such as Utopia or Nimrod, but featuring a more contemporary look and feel; and unlike them, includes a full set of small caps with numbers and punctuation. The four main text weights of Abril Text were also manually hinted which grants the possibility of a smooth transition from printed media to web platform. The "Newbeats" typeface came about after watching the film A Hard Day's Night starring the Beatles, hence the name "Newbeats". The font was on the poster of the film and based on these letters I designed a full alphabet, complete with ligatures. The font has been fully digitized and fine-tuned to make it possible to use in all software applications and graphics programs. Whomever sees the font for the first time would think this is a totally new font; it has a modern look despite the mid-60s feel that I have tried to preserve. The inspiration source for MFC Botanical Borders is a collection of border treatments from the 1886 “Spécimens de caractères d'imprimerie” by E. Houpied a Paris. This collection of elegant floral and foliage borders has been put together with their original decorated rules, as well as alternate matching precision rules for added versatility. You can start with a new document or work on a new layer within an existing document. Select MFC Botanical Borders from the font menu. (Some users may have font previewing enabled in the font menu which will cause the font name to appear as border elements, disable this option in order to choose the name) Make certain that the point size of the font is the same as the leading being applied to the font so the borders will meet up properly. Eyadish is an entertaining, comic, and childish font. The name of this font is originally derived from two main syllables. The first one is "Eyad-" which refers to my first name and the second syllables is "-ish" which means characteristics of or relating to. Hence, "Eyadish" refers to the characteristics that "Eyad", the typographer, himself has and had during his childhood. I do like this font for its childish and comic shapes. I have decided to design this font trying to leave a humble and personal imprint regarding the magic and innocent world of all children. Frankly, it is my most favorable designed font. This font comes in two different weights with facilities for writing and publishing in different alphabets included in various Latin and Cyrillic texts and scripts. "Eyadish" is primarily designed to be fit with all prints of kids, children, and juveniles' products. It is major usage is in advertisements and publications. It is suitable for T-shirts, books' covers of children such as fairy tales and comic stories, advertisement light boards in malls, and titles in parental, childish, comic, and other related magazines. "Eyadish" also can be printed in many children's products such as garments, towels, shoes, socks, toys, pacifiers, diapers, exhibitions, festivals, books titles and contents, medicines' packages, kindergartens' signs, buses, comic and TV series, kids and children organizations and charities names, images, software, foods including milk cans, candies, chocolates, and other related products. The Englishman William Caslon punchcut many roman, italic, and non-Latin typefaces from 1720 until his death in 1766. At that time most types were being imported to England from Dutch sources, so Caslon was influenced by the characteristics of Dutch types. He did, however, achieve a level of craft that enabled his recognition as the first great English punchcutter. Caslon's roman became so popular that it was known as the script of kings, although on the other side of the political spectrum (and the ocean), the Americans used it for their Declaration of Independence in 1776. The original Caslon specimen sheets and punches have long provided a fertile source for the range of types bearing his name. Identifying characteristics of most Caslons include a cap A with a scooped-out apex; a cap C with two full serifs; and in the italic, a swashed lowercase v and w. Caslon's types have achieved legendary status among printers and typographers, and are considered safe, solid, and dependable. ITC Founder's Caslon® was created in 1998 by Justin Howes, an English designer who used the resources of the St. Bride Printing Library in London to thoroughly research William Caslon and his types. As was common in the eighteenth century, Caslon had punchcut several different sizes of his types, and each size had a slightly different design. Howes digitized every size of type that Caslon cast, keeping their peculiarities and irregularities and reproducing them as they appeared on the printed page. This family has the 12 point, 30 point, 42 point, and Poster styles, as well as a full set of bona fide ornaments. In keeping with the original Caslon types, none of the sizes have bold weights, the numerals are all old style figures, and a full set of ligatures (some with quaint forms) are included. Wood Clarendon JNL is based on Hamilton Clarendon Condensed (circa 1899) and is available in both regular and oblique versions. The design of this typeface retains many of the charming (but slight) design irregularities often found within pantograph-cut wood type from the 1800s through the early 1900s.

It is difficult to define the classification of Winterfell. The caps are definitely Roman however the lowercase is italic and slightly calligraphic. Because of its old style look I decided to describe it as modern medieval. This design reminded me of Game of Thrones hence the name Winterfell.

Bygone is an elegant brush font - well, insofar a brush font can actually be elegant that is… It is an all caps typeface, completely handmade using Chinese ink and a rather expensive brush. Use it for posters, book covers and packaging. Comes with an old-fashioned amount of diacritics.
