ATF Alternate Gothic is a new, significant digital expansion of Morris Fuller Benton’s classic 1903 type design. Maison Neue is the completely reworked version of our original Maison typeface family. While the earlier version was constructed using rigid elements, Maison Neue has been meticulously redrawn to be less formulaic and have a stronger focus on optical criteria to create a distinct grotesque paying greater attention to harmony, rhythm and flow. In 2017, Maison Neue was further developed and expanded into a super family of 40 styles. This includes the subtly condensed original version, an extended counterpart, a mono-spaced alignment—all featuring additional weights within each family.

Interlude originated with some title lettering which we found in an Austrian theatre program from the early 1900s. With some more research we found a similar style called Tradition which was designed by Bernard Naudin and produced by a Parisian type house during the period before World War I. Using those two sources we ultimately produced two variant versions of the font, combining elements of the two sources. Interlude features characters with open areas in the heavier strokes, while Prelude is a solid, more script-like version of the style.

A festive spin off our Maiden Orange Pro typeface, Maiden Orange Inline Pro comes packed with all of the features of the original Maiden Orange Pro typeface, but adds a little more visual flavor with hand drawn inline cuts, leaning even more towards the custom hand lettered 1950’s advertisements that inspired the original. This font is based on the handwriting of author Franz Kafka and captures his expressive handwriting style, using the manuscript of The Trial and his diaries as the primary reference. The font presents the elegance and nervousness with which he wrote his letters and book manuscripts. To resemble naturalistic writing and remain as authentic and irregular as possible (without becoming impossible to read), a great number of extended ligatures was added. As an extra, several drawings from Kafka‘s diaries are included. A full international character set is featured.

Cavita typeface is a mix between both grotesque and calligraphic models: regulars have a rough grotesque spirit; while the italics where inspired in calligraphic gestures. All of these details are reinforced with an inverted modulation (horizontals strokes are thicker than usual). The italics seem to move away from the traditional concept of type system, but work very well along side. This typeface has very particular shapes and rhythm, it's different and identifiable from the rest, making it a very good option to use on every piece of design.

Boldstrom is a heavy-handed, all caps, display font available in 5 versions. Emphasis was put into strong line weight, minimal contrast, and tight curves. This family is defined by very broad stems with comparatively thinner cross strokes. Spacing was condensed to ensure the characters fit snug against one another. This was done in part to minimize negative space while also creating tension. The result is a powerful looking sans serif designed to command attention and make a statement. Boldstrom will be best used in large format print, titling, books, movie posters, or company logos.

Straight Angles is a precisely designed three-dimensional font with a clean and futuristic look. The predominant angles are 90 degrees and 180 degrees with parallel and perpendicular lines. Each character is surrounded by a crisp black border of even thickness throughout the font. Upper- and lower-case letters are the same, providing a constant maximum top height while the stems extending below are allowed to show off their distinct personalities in order to spice things up. The 3D extrusion effect makes text appear to stand out from the page.

Terrified AOE was inspired by vintage horror movie poster titling from the 1960's. It is a Capitals and smallcaps typeface, that really feels like a mix of three typefaces in one. While the Capitals and Smallcaps typesetting works to the effect of the original inspirations, each case also works well amongst itself independently, and having very different vibes. I've always been a huge fan of horror movies, and some of the lettering from vintage horror movie posters are so cool and alive, I only wish there were more of them recreated as display fonts.

Briller is a super-wide display sans that covers 6 weights, from delicate Thin on one side to chunky Ultra on the other end. Briller tabular figures (via the OT feature) and most of figure related glyphs (such as monetary symbols) are the same width throughout the weights, leaving fun possibilities in pairing them up in contrast while retaining that sense of tabular order. Briller has a character set to support Western and Central European languages. Each weight includes ligatures, proportional lining and tabular figures, fractions and scientific superior/inferior figures.

Usually I prefer desserts that aren't overly sweet, but a week ago I lost my sense of tasting - due to Corona, and when I wanted something sweet...I preferred it overly sweet...of course because I hardly could taste the overwhelming sweetness! But now, I have my sense of tasting (and smelling!) back, and everything is back to normal. And since I completed this easy-recipe-inspired handmade font while suffering from Corona, I thought I'd name it Overly Sweet. And...well. because, the font is somewhat overly sweet (without being over the top sweet!)

Scritta Nuova was born to transpose my personal handwriting and evolved today into a smart typeface that maintains the original feel with improved legibility and visual balance. The steady rhythm and roundness of Scritta Nuova give the impression of a smooth, girlish and gentle writing. It also evokes retro calligraphic styles taught in Italian schools around the 1950s, which might have influenced in one way or another my original handwriting. Note that the capital letters can be nicely set next to each other without overlapping, unlike script typefaces with swashy capitals created as initials.

Carolyna Pro Black is the bolder sibling of Carolyna Pro. It is an elegant, yet whimsically handwritten calligraphy font that was created with readability in mind. Suppose you were at a sandy beach and you wanted to write a message by making footprints in the sand. You might end up with letters much like those in Barefoot, a typeface made with bare feet. This font was inspired by the well-known philosopher René Descartes' hand writing. In 1634, from Amsterdam, he wrote a famous letter to his friend Mersenne, a great scientist monk, in which he spoke about Gallileus works. The greatest part of our glyphs is based on this document. We have added some letters Descartes himself didn't use, like modern s and j (he used exclusively s long and i instead of j). A lot of ligatures and alternates are enriching the font, giving a better appearance of real handwriting.

A display typeface with a muscular character, Doctrine Stencil is the revolutionary comrade of the text typeface Doctrine. Kisik is a handwritten font. I got a request to put my handwriting into a font, so I decided to take the challenge and design a whole typeface with three different weights (light, regular, bold) and 638 glyphs to cover all 104 Latin languages.
