Turlock JNL is a more traditional-looking slab-serif Western Font along the line of Brogado JNL. With its hand-drawn, old-time look and feel, Turlock JNL is perfect for anything with a Western or cowboy motif.

This sanserif has 18 faces from Light to the Black Italic. Conqueror Sans keeps the vigorous design peculiar to all members of this family, but at the same time it is more neutral, than its having serifs relatives.

'1812' type family is a revival and further development of the typeface '1812' by Lehmann Type Foundry (St. Petersburg). It was created for the centenary of the French invasion of Russia, known in Russia as the Patriotic War of 1812 along the lines of decorative engraved inscriptions and ornamented typefaces of that time, presumably by the artist Alexandre Benois. It was used mainly for the decoration of luxurious elegant publications. Later, in 1917, this typeface was used on the Russian Provisional Government banknotes. In the Soviet period of time '1812' appeared to be one of the few typefaces included in the first Soviet type standard OST 1337. It was produced for manual typesetting until the early 1990s. This typeface could be seen on Soviet letterheads, forms, posters and even air tickets. The digital version development was launched in 2010. The original version was supplemented with lowercase letters and alternative symbols, the extended Latin and Cyrillic alphabets were fully supported. The font was evolved into a family of 14 decorative styles which can refine any design giving it a festive and elegant but at the same time strict and nostalgic look. Despite its decorative nature, '1812' is perfectly readable in small emphasized text blocks due to its classic shape and careful spacing.

Makalu is a funny flower font inspired by the lovely drawings of the famous illustrator Zdeněk Miler (best known for his small mole). His flowers are at the same time cartoony and realistic. Enjoy this choice of 27 original and distinctive illustrations while creating your designs.

This was a favorite of job printers in late Victorian times. They used it on cards and stationery, as well as small handbills. It was made in a range of sizes from 10 point to 36 point. Good for places where you really don't want to shout.

Nowie Vremena is a sequel to a previously released Vremena Grotesk, a sans serif typeface, inspired by Arial’s apalling combination of grubby tidiness. The sequel travels back in time and explores Arial’s elder brothers and some 19th century sans serifs, through initial concept of hectic neutrality.

This interesting type was introduced by the Chicago firm of Marder, Luse & Company in 1890, about the time designers were beginning to lose some of the excessive ruffles and flourishes that characterized the Victorian age. Originally a caps-only font, we have added a lowercase to match.

I will spare you the long-winded description this time and all of the motivations and witty innuendoes. Quite frankly, I forgot about creating this typeface and it sat on my hard drive for almost a year. Luckily, my daughter Isobel saw the initial drawings one day and ask me about those pretty letters and I remembered… yep, that happened. That said, time made this a better typeface… with fresh eyes and time, much was redrawn, retooled and expanded to something I truly enjoy playing with. Shameless makes extensive use of Contextual alternates to create a proper ebb and flow from letter to letter. Interestingly, there are only a handful of ligatures… instead many special combinations are accounted for solely by relying on Contextual Alts. Mix in Stylistic Alts, Swashes, responsive Titling Alts, numerous Style Sets, etc and you can have a lot of fun. I created 2 versions. A ‘Standard’ version that has 2200+ characters and a ‘Deluxe’ version that has 2400+ characters and an interesting caveat… I plan on expanding the Deluxe version any time I have an idea to add to the typeface… and as such, buyers will receive all of those updates at no charge (with updates going directly to the distributors). You get what you pay for… no insane discounts. Oh, and if you are wondering… Shameless is based on my handwriting using Kuretake Zig CocoIro pens. I love these pens.

Fontology-E is an experimental font designed by Fabrizio Schiavi. It was created for the cover of the Fontology catalogue. Schiavi's need was to build an optical false modulation effect with versions of the logotype and typical rectangles of an empty font chart. The basic idea was to create a page that contained many rectangles in order to demonstrate the modulation. At the same time, it was important to understand that Schiavi inserted 8 versions of the same logotype each time the corresponding letter is digitized in e, a, d, f, g, h, c and b. The inside of the catalogue has the same layout and text, which is revealed by fanning the pages. Schiavi confess that Fontology-E is a highly experimental typefont.

A funny look with the spirit of the radio’s golden age, RadioTime is a typeface based on the handwritten alphabets of the ’30, ’40 and ’50. Roncial is an Ultra Bold font with a hint of serif. This is one of the fonts originally designed before the advent of digital and started out being a bolder, slightly serifed version of Folio Extra Bold which was one of the boldest fonts at the time (old metal set). It is available as Roman and Italic.

The logotype lettering of a 1927 issue of Motion Picture magazine provided the inspiration for this playful romp through the alphabet. Named after an expression of the same time whose origin and meaning are shrouded in mystery. Both versions of this font include the complete Unicode Latin 1252 and Central European 1250 character sets.

Inside the pages of an untitled sign painting textbook (circa 1902) was an example of the classic chamfered sans serif alphabets used by tradesmen of the time. This version was wider than most, and perfect for a digital version called Wide Chamfer JNL, which is available in both regular and oblique versions.

Hexide JNL was modeled and modified from an original design created by the late sign artist Alf R. Becker for Signs of the Times® Magazine. Thanks to Tod Swormstedt of ST Publications, Inc. and the American Sign Museum of Cincinnati, Ohio for providing the reference material used to make this font.

Challenge is the work of English designer Martin Wait. The brush lettering gives the typeface a unique, spontaneous quality. Capitals should be set closely and lowercase letters overlapped to produce the look of authentic handwriting. As a successor of Didots famous font, which marked the beginning of modern typography, the Monceau has inherited the spirit, elegance and sophistication of french style, although in a revamped design, typical for the first years of the 21st century. Liberated from its serifs and with soft and round small letters the Monceau approaches ornamental typography and thus perfectly lends itself to being enlarged: it’s a font that loves to be closely looked at. Its name, lent from the famous parc Monceau in Paris, evokes and reinvents in a modern graphical way all of the Parisian chic at the end of 18th and the beginning of the19th century (the time Didot was born), the French Revolution and Empire, the architecture of this business quarter and notably the arabesques of the monumental gates still present in our times.

Jet is an assertive italic sans that anticipates the return of the simpler, optimistic times when progress was considered positive and forward seemed to be the only way to go. It may have felt right at home in the mid-1970s, the time of Sc-Fi, synthetics and disco, yet it unmistakably belongs to the present. Its dynamic sturdy forms and angular tapering of some horizontal forms convey movement and edgy impatience for change, with a few re-imagined details, like the reversed slant on top of the lowercase t and the atypical round counter of the lowercase a, showing a new hope for the bygone optimism. Schrifti Alphabeti, a delightful collection of Cyrillic typefaces for posters from the former Soviet Union, strikes again, this time with a way-out West (Vladivostok?) theme.
