Our chef Martin Lorenz likes to mix cool and fresh cocktails - shaken, not stirred! You have to taste his awesome Martini or mix it yourself! To make matters more easy, cocktail master Martin reveals his special recipe: “The TpMartini refers esthetically to typefaces drawn with a pointed nib as the Bodoni or Didot, but with the clear distinction that it is obviously constructed by modules. The visual system for the TpMartin is based on a square 5x9-unit grid and three different basic forms with which the font and other elements are designed. The basic forms consist of a straight line and circles of two different sizes. The line can be extended, but the circles retain their related proportions.” One piece of advice: Don’t drink and type!

The same 1935 piece of sheet music ("Along Tobacco Road") that yielded the multi-line lettering design for Deco Triline JNL has also provided lettering examples inspired by the writers' credits for what is now Penwrite JNL, in both regular and oblique versions.

A WPA (Works Progress Administration) sponsored Water Carnival taking place in Central Park in the 1930s had "Department of Parks, City of New York" in the thin Art Deco hand lettering which is now available as Parks Department JNL.

Suti is a non-connected sign painters casual script with upper and lower cases. Suti was originally designed in 2010 but it was completely re-drawn in 2016. Casual lettering is a style sign painters use. Every sign painter has more or less their own style to make these letters. The casual alphabets are painted with speed and they don’t need to line perfectly but letters are still clean and easy to read. Suti has smooth and round forms. Friendly and casual looks. In 1935 Ludwig & Mayer released Walter Höhnisch’s Skizze. This beautiful font was completely redrawn and redesigned for today’s usage. The following letters have stylistic alternatives: E, F, P, S, and T. To get access to all ligatures, it is recommended to both activate Standard and Discretionary Ligatures.

One example in the 1919 instructional book “One Hundred Alphabets for the Show Card Writer” was for an elegant sans serif with a subtle Art Nouveau style to the letter forms. This is now available digitally as Show Card Elite JNL in both regular and oblique versions.

If you're feeling a chill in your bones and the grass is a little crunchy under your feet after looking at this font, you might like to put your feet in warm water when you get home if to stave off a little Frostbite. This remastered font family is a chip off the old block, and will help you thaw out before your skin starts to freeze and flake. We recommend you melt Frostbite cubes in the warm water too to ensure you don't stick to the ice. We also recommend you don't lick the letterforms, as we know our customers are wont to do.

The hand-lettered title of a vintage Walter Foster "how to draw" book inspired the Deco-influenced alphabet of Art Lesson JNL. Bold and retro in nature, this typeface gets the message across in a straightforward way, yet still has a bit of a casual feel to it.
