Grandecort is derived from the OakPark family. It has lost the serifs, and has moved to a more traditional look. The upper case letters are a bit heavier than the lower case letters, but overall the letter shapes are fairly conventional for a bold, display face. In later 2018 the family was expanded to 9 fonts. GrancMitStripes was reworked to make four new faces: GrancAllStripes, GrancTopStripes, GrancBottomStripes, and GrancCaps. The last can be used as a background layer for the others. Also, The interior of GrandecortShadow was separated out to form GrandecortShadowInside. It has the same shapes as Grandecort-Regular but the spacing of GrandecortShadow and can be layered with the shadowed style to easily create bi-colored letters.

This font is a late 19th Century French script overview inspired by numerous French letters, from around years 1850-1860, during the second French empire, under Napoleon the third. Most of them were written with very tiny characters on light sheets of paper, as postage prices were calculated from the letter's weight. The TTF and OTF versions are enriched with more than 50 ligatures and/or alternate characters. We also offer a choice of two sorts of Capitals. Why "1859 Solferino"? It was the last battle of the Italian independence war, opposing the victorious Franco-Italian army to Austria in June 24, 1859. The Red Cross was inspired directly from the carnage remaining on the battle field.

Linotype Schwennel is part of the Take Type Library, selected from the contestants of Linotype’s International Digital Type Design Contests of 1994 and 1997. This prize-winning font was designed by the German artist Svenja Voss. The figures seem to have been somehow eroded, parts of some strokes are completely missing, contours seem washed away. The eye works to put the pieces together to form a meaningful series of figures. The second weight, lila+negro, completes the letter fragments of the lila weight. Missing pieces are filled in and contours completed, making the resulting text stronger and a bit more legible. Linotype Schnwennel is intended exclusively for headlines in larger point sizes.

The hand lettered credits from the 1942 British film comedy “The Goose Steps Out” became the model for Goose Creek JNL, a simple sans serif design available in both regular and oblique versions. According to the Internet Movie Database (imdb), “A bumbling teacher turns out to be the double of a German general. He is flown into Germany to impersonate the general and cause chaos and hilarity in a Hitler Youth college.” The title is a parody of the “goosestep” style of marching by German soldiers during World War II. As a variant on the movie’s title, the font was named for Goose Creek, South Carolina – a charming community just northeast of historic Charleston.

Woodruff was inspired by a piece of charmingly hand-lettered signwriters’ ornamental Roman seen on a half faded away brick wall, on the end of a row of shops. It has a naive hand drawn charm that lends a very special touch to posters, signage and headings. Woodruff is ideal where an atmosphere of primitive charm, with a little regard for aesthetics is required, and can be used in such situations without sacrificing legibility.

Deusa was designed with branding and advertising in mind. It was inspired by the perfume and fashion industries and intended to be an elegant and “clean” display typeface; characteristics which determined its sans-serif and significant contrast style attributes. The typeface includes multilingual support as well as standard ligatures and stylistic alternates. It also includes an “estimated” and Euro glyphs (the Euro as an alternate), both designed according to the official EU specifications.

Conamore is a new Humanist Sans family. It consists of 16 styles (8 weights and 8 italics). The structure of the typeface is in a position that is neither too modern nor too classic. It was based on humanist frame and style, but we controlled the shape and removed potential eyesores so it can be easily recognized. These characteristics are suitable for the design requirements, such as editorial design, packaging, branding and display.

Ornata B is the second of a series of old ornaments that I am trying to save from oblivion. I am not just scanning these, I am completely redesigning the ornaments from scratch, thereby eliminating imperfections. I want to create a font, which is very elegant. So I made Danizatti Script, a kind of classic decorative script with a modern twist. GummiType is a wildly wobbly and clumsy gummy/jelly style letter font. This was a weird typeface that I originally designed back in 2000 but never finished it. Coming across it again recently, I thought it would be a fun font family to get out there. Perfect for a range of designs that require a spooky or gooey-gooey typestyle. Sometimes the inspiration for my typefaces comes from random everyday things, and this is the perfect example of that. My daughter is addicted to those little peach gummy rings and gummy worms, and gummy anything, but it was my own prior addiction to gummy peach rings that inspired this font. Pulling and distorting the ring sparked the inspiration for the droopy warped characters.

Coral had its origins in the font Leah. I had requests from users that I create a cursive version of Leah. (In a cursive font the letters are joined together as in handwriting). In the process of development it changed sufficiently that I decided to release it under its own name. Hence "Coral". Coral is relaxed but very readable. It is, perhaps, a tad more formal and regular than Leah but not sufficiently so as to detract from its relaxed quality. The font is fully professional: carefully letterspaced and kerned. It contains over 235 characters - (upper and lower case characters, punctuation, numerals, symbols and accented characters are present). (It has all the accented characters used in the major European languages).

The Alterhard typeface combines the inimitable craftsmanship of the great condensed styles of the early twentieth century and at the same time looks organic and even unusual among modern ones. A distinctive feature of the Alterhard typeface is the smooth transition from the geometrically strict extremely compressed shapes of the bold typefaces to the classic sparse shape of the compressed typeface in light weights. Also unusual for vertical fonts are oblique elements in lowercase letters, which give uniqueness, liveliness and originality to the classic type of font. This allows the Alterhard typeface to be used in any design field such as corporate identity, typography, posters, web design, and other design areas. Canterbury Old Style Pro is a two-weight serif font family with a small x-height. In 1920, Morris F. Benton designed the original weight for American Type Founders (ATF). Raymond Vatter and Steve Jackaman produced the digital version in 1992 and added a new “Bold” weight, and a full set of swash capitals were designed and released in 2003. Jackaman redrew and remastered the family in 2017, engineering the complete family into OpenType Pro format. Our OpenType fonts have extended character sets that support Western, Central, and Eastern European languages. Siruca is a font created specifically for the Al Hamra Complex, in Kuwait City, which includes the extraordinary Al Hamra Tower, one of the tallest skyscrapers in the world. Siruca is a stencil font designed to be used both by the classical forms, both for possible use with neon tubes. Tuscan wood types cover a fairly wide range of styles, and there is sometimes confusion over what is classified as a Gothic Tuscan and what is considered an Antique Tuscan. HWT American Chromatic and P22 Tuscan Expanded are more precisely faces of the Antique Tuscan variety. Gothic Tuscans are generally absent of the heavy serifs typically associated with their Antique Tuscan brethren (although decorative bifurcation of terminals can imply serifs). Additional internal decoration with spikes along the stems gives some Tuscans their distinctive look, these faces are often described as “Circus Types.” Tuscan Extended is an extremely wide design, with a distinctive slab crossbar running through the center of most characters. Each letter is a complex system in its own right. This typeface is best used very large in short headline work. The style defies falling clearly into either the Antique Tuscan or Gothic Tuscan category. The new HWT version of Tuscan Extended has been meticulously redrawn by Frank Grießhammer. I searched all over the internet looking for a realistic sand writing font and came away empty handed. Undaunted by this, I grabbed my business partner, Mary and trekked down to our local river, the Arkansas (pronounced ar-KAN-sas around here). Using sticks, we scratched out the entire alphabet in the sand, including upper & lowercase, and punctuation marks! I photographed the characters, converted them to line art on my computer and used font creating software to turn it into a true type font! This font was designed for adding dates, places and messages to your beach photos that looked as if you wrote it in the sand before you took the picture! Wisdom Teeth is the fifth typeface released by DM Founts. It's a modern and personal take on the original Baby Teeth font by Milton Glaser, and inspired by the lettering used for the Pac-Man series of games (and its clones). This typeface was around 25 years in the making, and was made in response to the large number of hideously bad clones of Baby Teeth circulating around the Internet. Version 1.0 Included in Version 1.0 are a number of accent characters, and alternate characters for A and Y, along with the usual ASCII characters. For the time being this is an all caps typeface.
