The first design of Elensans consisted of 4 styles that are including two weights and their italics which I designed in my student years in 2002. It was designed with a little Art Nouveau style touch with inspired by classical geometric based fonts such as Friz Quadrata and Eras. It was updated with according to the orientations of the day in 2012 and eventually it took its final form with actual touches in 2020. The family has 18 weights, ranging from Thin to Black in normal styles and including their italics. It is ideally suited for advertising and packaging, editorial and publishing, logo, branding and creative industries, poster and billboards, small text, wayfinding and signage as well as web and screen design.

Geza Script is a wild, calligraphic typeface. It has a foreign look that is hard to put a name on, it could be seen as Eastern inspired or as a forgotten script from the European 1500's. Use Geza Script in a urbane logo or graphic project you want to emit confidence. The font is created by Måns Grebäck and contains an alternate alphabet, ligatures and support for hundreds of languages.

PuffiClaude by Matt Desmond is a real piece of work. Great for funky display stuff, its got some jive junk hanging around every character. This OpenType font has many goodies including extra ligatures, superiors and inferiors, unlimited fractions, and a hip little smiley face. Hey, maybe it's a portrait of Claude! There are so many funky glyphs that it even supports Central European languages. Man, that's hip! Hook up.

Another unmistakable Koziupa/Paul production, Ricotta has very little baby fat for a sturdy brush script. What movement it shows is effective and integral to its expression, which is at once compact, lush and eye-catching. The Lined font started out with some scribbles - playing with lines and making shapes fold, underlap and overlap, eventually evolving into letters. This is a display/ornamental font and it was made in 2009, it's meant for decorative use and not in large bodies of text. For example it does well used as a headline font. It is proportionally spaced and uppercase only.

A 1917 informational poster for shipbuilders during World War I detailing the importance of their governmental work was hand lettered in a style closely resembling Cooper Black, yet retaining its own look and feel. Magazin ST is powerful but delicate. What fascinated me seeing, a couple of letters, in Bob Roy Kelly's book (American Wood Type:1828-1900) were the little squares in the corners that represent a glow from lighting coming from below and from the right. Such ambiguity excited me and I thought that today with digital resources it wouldn't take long to do it. Seeing it working is excellent. Look In the posters what it is for and the effects it produces, including the sensation of relief.- L.S.

This typeface was inspired in my dragon drawings, I like dragons and I thought in designing a special font with that inspiration. As the picture tells it, I gave a beveled shape to its terminals, looking like brush traces. Some characters are intentionally opened to give it a distinctive appearance. The number "3" has a different form, combining a wide angle and an opened circle, variating the way to make it. This font is special for some titles and it can even be used in comic dialogues.

Submariner R24 diving sans serif experience Submariner R24 is a modification of the Submariner type family. It still holds pleasant humanistic construction, but now the letters are easier. Rounded corners enhance the typeface’s sophistication and broaden its usability. It is a remarkable typographic discovery. The letter construction is more open and the corners are rounded. It is suitable for longer texts, information graphics, signalization, headers and decoration. The typeface’s x-height is exactly 70% of its capitals. The italics are designed at a 9° angle.

Chank created Zsazsa Galore as a fresh alternative to Mister Frisky, another jerky, hypercaffeinated interpretation of the traditional roman alphabet. The difference this time is that the new font has no descenders. Every letter comes to rest hard on the baseline. It sits there firmly rooted with branches wiggling around in the air. It was released as the Chank Font of the Month in October 1999 and it was named after Zsa Zsa Gabor because she is beautiful.

Nutcase is a perfect example of a font that principally designed itself. I created a hexagonal template (the most economical form in nature by the way) and took out the center to increase the decorative element. I played around with it, creating some pleasing characters at first but it soon became clear it would translate into a complete alphabet, so I set to work applying the idea to both upper and lower cases. It wasn't all straight forward though, avoiding awkward characters and retaining legibility took a little perseverance but it eventually paid off. I thought of this primarily as a decorative display face but having tested it out, found it reads surprisingly well as body copy too.

I had a cramp in my hand doing this font! Contains authentic scribbling! :) Comes with more than 80 different ligatures, to make it look more like real scribbling! You will need to use OpenType supporting applications to use the autoligatures.
