An interesting bit of Art Deco influenced serif hand lettering was found on the cover of the sheet music for 1938's "Boatman's Serenade". This became the model for the digital font Inlet JNL; available in both regular and oblique versions.

An image of a vintage metal stencil for the French wine region Côteaux du Tricastin [now Grignan-Les Adhemar] served as the inspiration for Wine Vat Stencil JNL. This condensed sans serif design is available in both regular and oblique versions.

Here's a wide, very light version of the widely known font P. T. Barnum (or French Clarendon, if you prefer). We have used this to good effect as secondary lines on old fashioned stationery. Reads well in very small sizes.

The Hunt Brothers, penmen extraordinaire, presented the pattern for this face as Upright Ornamental, it's a little loopy and a whole lotta fun. Both versions of this font support the Latin 1252, Central European 1250, Turkish 1254 and Baltic 1257 codepages.

County Clerk JNL was modeled after the vintage Hamilton wood type design Gothic Special, and is available in both regular and oblique versions. An early grotesk font, this condensed sans serif lends itself well to short headlines and brief body copy.

Emy Slab is a slab serif based on the classical proportions of Egyptian typefaces but with soft terminals that give the font a more friendly and modern look. Supernova is a new family that combines the spontaneity of a script typeface with the versatility of multiple weights and cuts. The development of script typefaces has largely been limited to variations in shape and proportion (and with the advent of OpenType technology, the addition of alternate letterforms). Their application has continued to be primarily linked to their emotional attributes, while roman types predominate in body texts. Supernova takes a step in a different direction and was conceived as a script typeface family comprised of several weights and cuts, including a versatile, eye-catching display version and a highly legible body-text version with five weights.

Afronaut PRO (New version of typeface published in 2019) was inspired by vernacular Latin & Arabic typography in St. Louis (on Senegal-Mauretania Border, Africa). Geometric forms working well and contrasting with smooth, round elements. After reading "Afronautics – from Zambia to the Moon" by Bartek Sabela (about Zambian conquest of space) a breif was set to create typeface that looks like mix between: vernacular Arabic script, futuristic typography and some special lettering that I found in Africa during my travels to Guinée, Bissau, Gambia, Senegal, Mauritania and West Sahara. Afronaut has seven weights, also many letters have 3 different forms. Afronaut PRO can work as regular version of my Yalla Typeface.

Chivels : Vintage Chiseled 3D Type System This vintage type family combines chisel effects and pinstripe styling to give it more life. Chivels comes with six fonts that you can combine with each other to get different effects. Starting with a base, you can add more fonts in front to get inner, chisel light, and chisel dark effects. You can also add fonts behind to add outline and shadow effects. Alternate characters are available for every single alphabetical character. In the OTF version, you can select the alternate characters in the Glyphs or Open Type panels. If you're using software that doesn't include Open Type features, you can use the TTF version.

Songlines is based upon a pen-drawn script drawn by Michael Harvey to illustrate a poem by Johannes Thurman. The expressive and rough-edged letterforms of Songlines do not have any lowercase characters. Instead, alternative uppercase characters occupy their positions. By using a mixture of upper-case and lowercase characters, text can be given a very lively and vigorous character. For example, the two versions of L are designed to overlap and interact whichever way round they are used. The augmented Songlines Plus version, has many alternative characters and ligatures added together with Opentype features to enable their automatic substitution where the application in which they are used permits.

Mekon is a modern heavyweight typeface digitised and expanded from Peter Steiners Black Body (1973). About 7 years ago, I released a beautiful (imho) Art Deco inspired font called Weltschmerz. Weltschmerz was an all-caps font and I always wanted to do a lower case version as well. But as things so often go in life, I never found the time and forgot about it. Some time ago, I ‘rediscovered’ my good old Weltschmerz font and remembered that I wanted to create a lower case version. Without further ado: here is Neuer Weltschmerz (‘New Weltschmerz’). I redid the whole font, better kerning, better spacing, better looks… and with a proper lower case! I did keep the original handwritten look intact - because, well, it IS hand made!

Core Circus is a layered type family consisting of seven 3D effect layers, eight 2D effect layers and one shadow effect layer. Buinton Rough is roughed up version of Buinton. There are three versions with increasing distress level. Buinton Rough is a script typeface with noble and vintage looks. It has serifs at the beginnings of the strokes, swash capitals and formal design. Buinton Rough has lots of alternate characters, swashes and ligatures. It has also a bunch of tails with different shapes and widths to give the vintage logotype or sports look to your design. These alternates makes Buinton Rough very versatile. You can design beautiful, elegant and diverse typographic elements with it. It’s well suited for logos, lettering artwork, t-shirt designs, editorial illustrations to name a few.

Corpesh was drawn in Adobe Illustrator during the wee hours of the night. It is a single weight set of fonts, no bold version. As is/was much of what I have done over the last year, it was created purely to pass time. As a self taught amateur in this field, I only do this for the enjoyment it brings me. This typeface is being released early, at the same time as 'Brainstroke', for exactly the same reason that typeface is, that being a health crisis. I know this typeface is not complete, with, as mentioned, no bold version, and probably never will have.

Rough and ready, bold and urgent. Or playful and fun in bright colours. The original letters were cut from actual potatoes, then scanned in and converted to vector outlines. Lighter and more heavily inked versions were used for the three variants. Using Opentype character-substitution technology, Salvation rotates through three versions of each letter to create a naturally uneven printed effect. Unlike hot metal type, the potatoes were cut the right way around. This produced reversed prints, which were then flipped back in Photoshop. Originally produced for Hughes' Get Lettering activity book, the font was then extended to cover numbers, punctuation and full European language support.

What can I say? I like fonts with stars. Space Time is a hand drawn font with a lot of variety. I started designing the regular version with the characters slightly touching but it wasn't quite what I had in my head. I’d imagined tightly spaced letters with overlapping shadows and the only way to get that effect was to create a second version with stackable layers. That means this download includes regular, base, outline, shadow, and stars files. Plus, the base and outline can be used for stacking or work fine as standalone fonts. This font is all caps but the lowercase letters feature alternative styles.

Simple and charming, Soundtrack is a lively all-caps font that brings two versions for each letter. Make your choices by simply typing the upper or lower case keys or switch on the Contextual Alternates feature on any OpenType savvy program to instantly alternate between lettershapes. Akira Kobayashi modified his Eurostile Next design into a fun unicase version. Ascenders and descenders have been traded in for alternates of letters that all share the same height. The effect is similar to using all caps, although this is quite a bit more quirky. For example, letters like the lowercase a and e are now the same height as their capital versions and the lowercase y has been raised to fit between the baseline and top height. Odd relationships such as these give Eurostile Unicase a fresh and funky feeling. Try using it for headlines and titles, then use Eurostile Next for the body text!

This humanist sans-serif typeface was exhaustively designed, full-featured typeface family that reveals its character and distinctiveness in complex text. It features a large complement of ligatures, lining and old-style figures, expert characters, dingbats (arrows, brackets, and symbols for both Regular weights). In the original Lisboa Pro the forms of the letters are humanist, with hooked headterminals, the characters contains medium contrast with a left-angled stress on the strokes. After ten years from the first version publication, this new version (0.2) is available with Latin (Western, Central Europe) and Cyrillic alphabets.
