G&G is the only authorized digitized version of the original handlettering of early 20th Century architects Charles and Henry Greene. This font is both accurate and authentic -- it was adapted directly from the Greenes' original plans for The Gamble House in Pasadena, California, and others. G&G contains both Upper and Lower-case characters, consistent with the Greenes' use of lower-case to explain fine construction details on their plans. G&G is very successful in creating the illusion of hand lettering.

Valsity is a squarish slab-serif family with five weights and two widths, each with an italics for a total of twenty members. With negligible contrast, it is almost monoline. It is for decorative uses; it is too square and lacks the contrast to make it a good choice for extensive text. Valsity began with a blending of two other squarish slab-serifs, Valgal and Kwersity, and its name reflects that ancestry. From there it took on a life of its own, often diverging from its parents.

I designed this font a few years ago to address a direct problem. My work demanded small paragraphs of text to be screenprinted in a varsity font style. The house varsity was rather uneven and created small blobs of ink at sharp angles when printed. I designed Beau's Varsity to address both of these problems. The new font eliminated the blobbing, and I like to think my original design is a step up in evenness from the other options.

Vintage Varsity was inspired by that classic iron-on letterman jacket your "cool" uncle wore in high school (and lets be real, probably still wears today)... Ornata G is the seventh of a series of old ornaments that I am trying to save from oblivion. I am completely redesigning the ornaments from scratch. Now that there are more Studio K fonts than there are characters in the alphabet it occured to me that I should produce a sampler font that showcased them all: hence Variety. The 'What the font' experts amongst you should enjoy identifying individual characters, but to start you off, the featured fonts in the font title are, in order of appearance: Alma Mater Outline Shadow, Aspidistra, Signpost, Cafe de Paris, Showbiz, Barrowboy and Soft Rock.

There is no bicameral Parity. It has been designed from scratch to be an exceptional unicase typeface, uncompromised by the priorities of mixed case or all-cap setting. Each glyph is shaped, proportioned and detailed for one purpose only: to optimize text set in the lining unicase format.

P22 ST.G Shrift is a font series based on the type designs of Stefan George with an italic version designed by Colin Kahn. Stefan George (1868-1933) was a German poet who led the revolt against realism in German literature. All of his works were privately published and the typefaces that were used reflected his neo-classic and anti-industrial (progessive) aesthetics; oftentimes consisting of his own hand lettering designs. The original font was cast in 1907 by a small foundry in Germany and was used primarily for the works of George as well as other books including a monumental edition of Dante's Divine Comedy. The ST.G Shrift Fonts contained in this set are derived from 3 known variations of the original roman typeface, St.G., found in various books published in Berlin in the early 20th century. ST.G Shrift One contains the most idiosyncratic characters, while ST.G Shrift Two uses more familiar characters as well as a redesign of characters including the t and the k to be more in keeping with modern san-serif designs.
