Elida JNL was modeled from an image of some wood type for sale online. Although the type design most likely has its roots in the classic Bodoni, there were a few characters in the original wood type that had a bit of a square or block shape to them. Those characters were modified in order to keep with the overall roundness of the other characters. The name Elida JNL comes from a small town in New Mexico. Available in six styles: Regular, Oblique, Extra Condensed, Extra Condensed Oblique, Ultra Condensed and Mega Condensed.

As the Latin tag for one’s college or university, Alma Mater seemed to me to be an appropriate title for a font family reminiscent of the lettering commonly used on college sweaters and sports jerseys. Essentially Alma Mater is an extension of my Oscar Bravo font family, but the lively demand for Oscar Bravo Blank persuaded me to go the whole nine yards and and offer inline, outline and shadow variations on the theme. In mid 2001, P22 was approached by a Daniel Garrison, a Classics scholar at Northwestern University about possibly digitizing a long lost "Garamond" typeface. This font was used by Johannes Herbst (a.k.a. Ioannes Oporinus) in 1543 to publish Andreas Vesalius' "On the Fabric of the Human Body" (De humani corporis fabrica) in Basel. NarrowWay is a family of 18 condensed and ultra-condensed sans-serif typefaces. The family started with the ultra-condensed widths, then the condensed and regular widths (the regular is still quite condensed) were added. All widths have three weights and each weight has an italics style. These 18 styles lack a true lowercase but rather have a set of alternative characters, some based on lower-case forms, on the lower-case keys.
