The next day, we had lunch together. And that night we had dinner together. And the next day. And the next. We met just before my 19th birthday, and on my birthday he took me to the top of Victoria Peak, where we looked out over the city of Hong Kong- such a beautiful place to begin a lifetime of love! We spent 4 months together in Hong Kong, falling in love with each other and with the beautiful city we were privileged to call home for that short time. We married the next year. We've lived in Indiana, Texas, China, Kentucky, and Florida over those 12 years of marriage and have welcomed 2 daughters into our lives. I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that he completes my life in a way I didn't know was possible.   6. Stempel by Linotype, $29.99
    The Stempel family consists of two fonts; each made to look like a set of block stamps. Each letter appears inside its own roughly drawn square. Stempel One's letters are very simple form/counterform objects. Stempel Two's forms are more ornate: each square stamp has a thin border inside of it, and then the individual letterforms have been knocked-out, so that the colored area depicts the counters around the letters rather than the letters themselves. As a line of text is typed, a box appears for each letter entered, and all of the boxes slightly nudge against each other to form the line. The Stempel fonts have the appearance of a hand-made quality to them. Their forms appear too random, too delicate, and too thought out to have been made on a machine. Using these fonts will add a nice warm, linoleum-cut touch to your work. Both Stempel One and Stempel Two were designed by German designer Martina Balke in 2002, and are part of the Take Type 5 collection from Linotype GmbH."

Although it boasts plenty of the traits of its origins (early screen technologies), it manages to maintain a balance between the elements of its 1980s origins and the mechanical yet transparent late 20th century techno/pop design. Precise and geometric, solid and strong, Screener looks great on screen as well as in print, in tracked small sizes as well as in teaser headlines. Screener comes in two widths and weights, with italics, and extra sets of symbols and numerals (enclosed, fractions, superiors, inferiors, etc.), as well as two weights of small caps. Screener is available in separate packages, or in a value package that contains all twelve fonts.

  12. Bihext by Ingrimayne Type, $10.00
    The letters of Bihext fit into the trapezoids formed by bisecting hexagons from the top corner to the bottom corner. Because these trapezoids have two orientations, there are two sets of characters and the typeface was designed assuming that the user would want to alternate these two character sets. The alternating of characters is done automatically with the OpenType feature of contextual alternatives (calt) in applications that support it. The typeface is monospaced with very tightly letter spacing. If the letter spacing seems too tight, consider alternating colors to make the individual letters stand out as an alternative to loosening the letter spacing. Almost certainly the user will need to adjust line spacing if more than one line of text is used. The family includes an outline style that can be used in a layer above the filled style. A decorative, display face, Bihext is too difficult to read to be used for long text.

  14. Valsity by Ingrimayne Type, $9.00
    Valsity is a squarish slab-serif family with five weights and two widths, each with an italics for a total of twenty members. With negligible contrast, it is almost monoline. It is for decorative uses; it is too square and lacks the contrast to make it a good choice for extensive text. Valsity began with a blending of two other squarish slab-serifs, Valgal and Kwersity, and its name reflects that ancestry. From there it took on a life of its own, often diverging from its parents.

    A font from outer space, CA Weird Stories - the perfect font for science fiction novels or to create a spooky atmosphere. A bit too weird and a bit too slanted for this world. You may even consider to use the "fill" style on its own, it might look a bit uneven, as it was actually designed to be used in combination with the "shadow/regular" style, but hey – that's what this font is all about!

    The idea of Transport originates from text found on the large wooden boxes used for transport. Such text is still stencilled on them in the same way as the companies have done for decades, at least. That explains the typeface's name, too. If you find some similarities with Devin, you are right. Transport is nothing other than a special variant of Devin. But since the two are aimed for totally different uses, I decided to use two different names for them. Transport is a mecane and its use is primarily as a headline typeface. But in small quantities it can be used even for body setting, if special effects are desired. Transport was released in 1994.

    Konya is a signature script-style font with a very luxurious look. It can look very soft and very firm in an elegant frame, high but not too towering, and flat but not too low. This font is perfect for branding, as we equipped it with a number of alternatives that allow you to make it a feminine and masculine logo, and some swash to add to the firmness of signature.     In the typeface family "Complements" two sets of characters complement each other, so much so that they work together much better than they work separately. The two sets are designed to alternate and this alternating is done automatically in applications that support the OpenType feature Contextual Alternatives. Complements is purely for show and display; it is a horrible choice for text. The spacing is very tight, which works well for very large point sizes. At smaller point sizes the user may want to increase character spacing. The typeface is monospaced. If the spacing between words is too large, substitute the non-breaking space (or the underscore) for the space character. Complements is geometric, bizarre, and hard to read, all characteristics that catch the reader's attention. Complements comes in two styles, regular and outline. The outline style was designed to be used in a layer over the regular style.

    Grafinc is fat, black and robust. It is a geometric-based display typeface that comes in two cuts: ExtraBlack and Rounded. Grafinc can be used for all types of media – print, web, broadcasting or games. Despite its robust appearance and display character, Grafinc is very friendly typeface. It appears to be very legible in smaller sizes, too. The cuts include some very fine ligatures, making its appearance very rhythmic and smooth. Available in OpenType and western languages.

    Virtuosa Classicis the 21st century OpenType re-release of a classic Hermann Zapf design, his very first script typeface, Virtuosa. Based on the same sketches that would inspire Zapfino 50 years later, Hermann Zapf developed Virtuosa in 1948-49. It was originally released in metal in 1952. Virtuosa nova is an English copperplate script with character. The font includes two form variants for each capital letter, and there are a number of lowercase alternates and ligatures, too.

    Manolo was a Ludwig & Mayer in-house design from the beginning of the 20th century. Though more formal than many others, the design keeps its Art Nouveau air. This beautiful font was completely redrawn and redesigned with giving the numerals more style. Two stippled border elements were added which you can reach by typing [alt] + P and [alt] + p. Like most fonts of this era, RMU Manolo comes with a long s too. RMU Manolo encompasses most European languages, Central and West, plus Turkish.

    Drone is a deliberately misproportioned typeface, inspired by hand-drawn lettering found in Spanish/Hispanic Catholic churches in the Philippines and Los Angeles. You might not use this decorative display font at smaller sizes, but you are encouraged to let your imagination guide you.
