Edita is a gentle typeface, humanistic in concept yet with a contemporary feel, where softness and fluidity play a very important role. This book typeface family is intended to be used in books where text is set together with photographs and other graphic elements. The inspiration source for MFC Spindler Borders is a collection of border treatments revived from the “Catalog 25 TYPE FACES” by Barnhart Brothers & Spindler. The border designs were recreated from two different border sets, “Classic Art Borders” and “Classic Black & White Borders”. This collection of borders represents a structured repetition of elements in various ways to create elegant patterns and backgrounds. You can start with a new document or work on a new layer within an existing document. Select MFC Spindler Borders from the font menu. (Some users may have font previewing enabled in the font menu which will cause the font name to appear as border elements, disable this option in order to choose the name) Make certain that the point size of the font is the same as the leading being applied to the font so the borders will meet up properly. While we’ve adjusted this within the font, your program may override these settings. For instance a 12 point font should have 12 points of leading. I had a totally different name assigned to this font at first. Then, while drifting off to sleep one night during the creation process, my sleepy brain said, "You know, BLORP would be a great name to go with these letter shapes." Normally when I have those half-asleep ideas and look at them in the morning, they make no sense. But I decided to make a sample image for BLORP, and it turns out I really like it! So ... BLORP it is! This font is extensively edited for super-smooth lines and curves, so it'll cut like butter in your Cricut or Silhouette machine. Though it's also super cute for print projects, logos, branding, or anything else you want to use it for! It has a funky mix of letter sizes and heights, and two sets of uppercase letters, so you can mix everything together JuSt LikE tHIs, and it'll still look great! This script font was inspired by the type used in Leyden by Jan Seversz to print Breviores elegantioresque epistolae [...], author Francesco Filfelo, circa 1509. The original font contains all lower case characters, except w, eth, thorn, lslash, oslash and so... and almost upper case. In addition, one set of small lombardic initials were also nearly complete. It take place instead of the Bold style (in only one package)offering a real and rare complete historical printing set... The original small "a" hight was 2,8 mm !, the upper case hight no more than nearly 5 mm, the initials hight almost 15 mm, covering nearly two lines. This font includes "long s", naturally, as typically medieval and also a few ligatures, but not any variants. We have entirely recreated some characters, upper, lower and initials, to fill gaps. It is used as variously as web-site titles, posters and fliers design, publishing texts looking like ancient ones, or greeting cards, all various sorts of presentations, menus, certificates, as a very decorative, elegant and unusual font, besides its historical scrupulous reality... This font has 2 styles in one keyboard layout! There is a solid style, and an outline style. The capital letters match the small-case. The capitals are all solid letters, while the small-case are the same, but an outline version. Same with your numbers, there is 2 styles (Outlined hollow numbers, or press shift and a number to get it's matching solid version). Common punctuation marks, brackets, etc., are included too, in both styles (There's even a hexagonal euro and dollar sign). To make these characters easier to find, repeats are spread throughout your alternate keys. The two styles can be used together, nicely complimenting each other. The Republic Gothic series was among the last original wood type designs manufactured by Hamilton Manufacturing Co. It was first shown in Hamilton's New Gothic Faces in Wood Type (c. 1920). The design features a sans-serif style reminiscent of brush-formed letters popular with sign painters of the era. Originally issued in 6 different widths and in both outline and solid versions, this digital release features the "Extended" width known as Hamilton Republic Gothic series 775 & 776. The pair of outline and solid is designed as 'chromatics' that can be printed one over the other to achieve multiple color effects or individually as stylistic alternatives. This release features the first ever digitization of Republic Gothic. The two fonts are carefully aligned and kerned to allow for multicolor overlayment in any digital design program. It features a full Western and Central European Character set.

Introducing Terrapin! I named this after listening to a song called "Terrapin on a Tightrope." Considering the fact that a terrapin is a kind of turtle, it makes that song title seem pretty harrowing! This font has heavy roots in one of my favorite lettering styles. It's rough, scrappy, and likes to do its own thing. It has a full uppercase and lowercase set, numbers, punctuation, and lots of extended Latin characters for language support. It also includes alternate versions of 17 lowercase letters. Where Terrapin really shines is in the ligatures. I've written separate two- and three-letter combined forms for some of the most common letter combinations, and a few uncommon ones to boot. There are almost 100 ligatures in here, all PUA-encoded so everyone can access them (and also coded so if your software does automatic ligature replacement, they'll pop right in).
