Aderyn is a hand drawn, elegant font with a light touch to it. Aderyn is soft and sleek, but also comes in bolder styles to give a little extra oomph to your designs. Aderyn is Welsh for 'bird', a language I meant to master, but never took beyond 'good morning', 'bird' and 'cat'. A heavy unnamed Gothic typeface from the 1890 William H. Page Foundry woodtype specimen book provided the template for this bold, brash, no-nonsense face. For some reason I had to think of Moby Dick (the classic book by Herman Melville) when I was busy working on this font. No, I don’t live near the sea, nor do I have a pet whale. It’s just one of those things… Whalebone (named after Captain Ahab’s prosthetic leg) is a handmade, all caps brush font. It wasn’t actually made with a brush; I used a broken satay skewer and Chinese ink. Whalebone comes with discretionary ligatures for double letter combinations.

Trinculo is a cursive font which combines traditional letter forms with ridiculously ornate embellishments and flourishes. It's rather like what an 18th century clerk might have done with his lettering if he was bored to distraction with writing the same old letters again and again. The upper case characters are more complex with simpler versions of the same characters in the lower case. Trinculo is a lot of fun, though if you use it too much it may become overwhelming.

Roster is a strong brush script family of two weights, caps and a set of ornaments. Roster is great for any kind display use from advertising to packaging and from online to branding. Roster is clear and legible even in smaller sizes and works for longer texts too, but is at it’s best when used for shorter sentences or even just for one or two word display or logo use. Roster is equipped with plenty of Ligatures and Contextual alternates that are automatically activated as long as you keep Standard Ligatures feature on. These features help to maintain the flow and add on some variation when writing with Roster. If you need more than that there is at least three Alternates for each basic character: click on Swash, Stylistic or Titling Alternates in any OpentType savvy program or check out for even more alternates from the Glyph Palette. Since uppercase letters in Roster are mainly designed as initials I made Roster Caps for an all caps version of the capital letters. Roster Caps can be used on it’s own or to support Roster Script. Roster Ornaments is a set of swashes and brush strokes designed to support the font.
