Helsing is a serif style font inspired by Bram Stoker’s 1897 Dracula as well as Edward Gorey’s rendition of the story. Helsing is characterized by his slighting skewed baseline, subtle texture, thick and thin contrasts, and decorative legs. Made as a graphic style font, Helsing is perfect for illustrative titles, small bodies of text, and pairing with contrasting lettering style fonts like Asterism.

Erle Stanley Gardner’s beloved lawyer “Perry Mason” first appeared on screen in a series of six films with Warren Williams starring in four of them. The hand lettered opening title for 1935’s “The Case of the Lucky Legs” is a classic Art Deco sans serif design, and is now available as Courtroom JNL in both regular and oblique versions.

The unusually-shaped hand lettering of Penny Wise JNL was modeled from the cover of the 1936 sheet music for "You Dropped Me Like a Red Hot Penny", and is available in both regular and oblique versions. Although it was drawn during the Art Deco period, this type of lettering design style was revived during the Hippie movement of the 1960s and 1970s.

The Flounder is a simple and clean condensed all-caps sans serif font. It is a close relative of the Floz, but has rounded edges and a wider range of glyphs. Furthermore it is equipped with a bunch of ligatures, as well as alternates for the letters j, w, q and z. It comes in three weights with their respective italics.

Gilmore Fahrenheit is a glyphic, sans serif typeface that was inspired from early designs by the renowned English typographer Eric Gill. It was designed in 1992 by A. Pat Hickson (P&P Hickson) and Steve Jackaman (ITF) exclusively for the Red Rooster Collection. It was designed with true small caps, has an italicized geometric look, and possesses legibility reminiscent of Swiss typefaces.

Mr Palker Dad — has appeared in a natural evolution of the Palker-Palkerson family. Its closest relative - grotesque Mr Palker Dadson. This generation is more stout than the previous one. One may even be brave enough to use them for composing small texts. Notably Mr Parker Dad has become one of the frequently sold typefaces on the «Peterburg. The city speaks» map as it is highly readable while remaining extremely tight. Mr Parker Dad has all the features of P&P’s family.

This is definitely a font suitable for kids toys. The letters are legible, and at the same time totally wacky! Kinda like what a kids toy should be! Fidusmager started out as a handdrawn, slightly rugged looking fon. However I ended up manually tracing each letter in order to have those smooth lines. By the way, Fidusmager is danish and actually means someone who’ll trick you - but as a kid I didn’t know that, and found that it most likely was something positive! :)

For some reason I had to think of Moby Dick (the classic book by Herman Melville) when I was busy working on this font. No, I don’t live near the sea, nor do I have a pet whale. It’s just one of those things… Whalebone (named after Captain Ahab’s prosthetic leg) is a handmade, all caps brush font. It wasn’t actually made with a brush; I used a broken satay skewer and Chinese ink. Whalebone comes with discretionary ligatures for double letter combinations.

No, I am not leaving and none of my friends or relatives have packed up and left. I needed a more ‘letter-like’ name for this font and I found Adieu Mon Ami (farewell, my friend in French). Adieu Mon Ami is a handmade pencil font that will add that extra ‘je ne sais quoi’ to your designs. It comes with joie de vivre, un petit peu de vilain, but can be doux comme de la soie as well. Alfarn is based on capital letters that Bauhaus student Alfred Arndt (1898?1976) drew for a poster in 1923, designed to advertise a bakery in Jena, Thuringia. The poster is an example for what we call today ?Bauhaus features?: yellow circle, red square, black bars and an indication of geometric lettering that became so popular in the following years. C�line Hurka carefully analysed Arndt?s lettering and derived two weights in different widths: wide and condensed. She took on the characteristic bars and transformed them into an underlined weight of its own. Hurka also drew perfectly balanced small caps, which make up for a missing lower case. Alfarn captures the spirit of 1920s Bauhaus-influenced posters ? a timeless style quite suitable for contemporary designs.

Kubrick is an experiment in extremes. The Light font is very tall and slender, the Black font is very massive, and Kubrick's slender counters push some of its glyphs to the edge of recognition. The thin counters and negative spaces also give text set in Kubrick a definite visual sparkle, especially in all-uppercase settings. Because of its extreme letterforms, Kubrick is recommended only for large display use. The default letterspacing is set fairly wide to keep text legible. Kubrick was a double-experiment. One part of it was to see how heavy and massive a typeface I could make while still keeping it legible. The other part was to develop a Multiple Master font. Multiple Master fonts were a format developed by Adobe that allowed the user to change things like the weight and width of a typeface. Monollith started as just such a Multiple Master typeface, but when Adobe discontinued the Multiple Master format, I stopped work on the typeface. Later I decided to continue work on it, but as five separate font weights: Light, Medium, Bold, ExtraBold and Black. Very rectilinear letterforms with extremely narrow counters and negative spaces. The five fonts go from very thin and condensed to very heavy and extended. Use in large display settings where unornamented high visual impact is desired.

Tabloid Press JNL is one of a number of classic typefaces re-drawn from screen captures of actual vintage newspaper headlines.

Carve is an African font that was inspired by fonts such as Othello and Neuland designed in the mid-1920s. Rather than attempting to re-create these fonts in a digital form as so many others have done, I have tried to capture the “spirit” of the period and emphasize the “woodcarving” style of the font, while simultaneously giving it a contemporary feel. As a result the characters differ markedly any of the original styles and have much less of an “Art Deco” look to them. To further modernize Carve, I have included all the characters required for a full character set (lower case, as well as all punctuation, numerals, diacritics, special characters etc). The result is a thoroughly modern re-interpretation. The numbers (0 to 9) bear no relation to any originals but, I believe, are fully in keeping with the upper and lower alphabetic characters of my font. Carve comes in two styles: --Regular: contemporary, angular African style --Incised: exaggerating the chunky, hand-carved "woodcut" effect. The "in-line" effect has been hand-crafted to avoid the mechanical effect of computer-generated inline effects.

Scillienta is a considered and exacting handwriting font that includes unique ligatures, characters for multiple languages, and a range of mathematical symbols. Inspired by the condensed, small, skinny handwriting traits I have consistently seen in scientists' handwriting, it exemplifies the effort of trying to write neatly when appearance is not the first priority. Yes, I am Richard Starkings and you may remember my hand lettering from such comic books as THE KILLING JOKE, TRANSFORMERS and, um, THE KILLING JOKE! Yes, finally Comicraft is making available the font that started it all -- from the pages of MARVELS, SUPERBOY, GENERATION X and, um... MARVELS! The font that Kurt Busiek, writer/creator of ASTRO CITY, really, really likes but we've always refused to make available to him. Always leave your friends wanting more, that's my motto.

Mr Jones was originally conceived as a family for print design consisting of a sans and a headline. The lowercase are wide for legibility at small sizes while the caps are narrower to save space and keep an even balance of negative space when used in body copy. The overall widths of certain characters have been adjusted to almost extremes to keep an even balance of white space around each letter. He works well in body copy, but will need decreased tracking for larger settings. He comes with small caps; proportional, oldstyle, and tabular figures and discretionary ligatures.

This is a complex typographic system which includes three different but complementary styles so far: Slab, italic and script, with nine weights each one; plus three sets of ornamental fonts: labels, negative labels and ornaments. The soul of the family is a slab feeling applied judiciously to the italic and script styles to make it coherent with the whole system. Each style has three sets of figures: Proportional lining, tabular lining and old style. You can mix the three styles in a single piece to obtain more expressive results without worring about the uniformity and complementing the design by using the ornamental sets.

The late 70s and early 80s is sometimes considered to be the period when headline typography went off the rails. Growing up in that period, some designers may beg to differ. Many geometric designs were available in dry-transfer and for the typositor, and were used everywhere a youth-culture look was appropriate - annuals, comics, club flyers, high-street boutiques, TV-advertised compila tion albums. Nightclubber is a fond homage to the excesses of the period, and should be used back-lit in pink neon or at a rakish 45 degree slant across a blurred photograph of a glitter ball.

Cherry is a bold and smooth display family with connecting script “Brush” and supporting thin marker caps “Sans”. In addition there is “Extras” which is a set of strokes and ornaments designed to go with the fonts. Cherry Print is the same set with rugged outlines and eroded print texture. Streamwood JNL is an outline sans wood type re-drawn from vintage source material. The design bears strong resemblance to Woodlawn JNL; but is a bit narrower and has a much different set of numbers as well as a more stylized letter "Q".

Somatype Skwosh was born out of a desire to ignore traditional rules for condensed character forms in favour of contrasting vertical and horizontal thicknesses and the interesting shapes produced by re-scaling along only one axis. Somatype Bold was the starting point.

Wood Tuscan JNL is a bold, compressed serif font in the Tuscan style and was re-drawn from vintage wood type examples.

Rosewood font, like its relatives Zebrawood, Pepperwood and Ponderosa, was created by the designer trio K.B. Chansler, C. Crossgrove and C. Twombly, and has its roots in the slab serif style. The first weight displays the simplicity typical of display typefaces at the end of the 18th century. The other weights are playful variations on this theme. The tendency toward display and ornametal typefaces began with the English Industrial Revolution. The introduction of new machines made mass production possible in the print industry, a technique meant to constantly produce new and unusual products to sell to more and more consumers. Many of the typefaces created in this time were meant simply to catch attention and to advertise products. The two ornamental weights of Rosewood reflect this tendency and never fail to catch the reader's eye. Rosewood, like Zebrawood and Schwennel, is a bicolor font, meaning that the weight Rosewood fill can be used as a decoration for the inner spaces of Rosewood regular.

Known sometimes as “utopia”, “journey” other times, but also named with name´s place where one wants to go, “Ithaca” home of Ulysses. Typographic Cartesian coordinates are usually two, from the skeleton, the narrower, to the black, the widest. Nowadays, Maese Patau had traveled a road made by four Cartesian axes of typographic geography. A road from thick to thin, from expanded to condensed, to offer us a new family, a larger and extensive series than the traditional family. 48 “relatives” in a pure neo-grotesque font, with a large “eye” that makes it especially suitable for display. Solid hinting in small sizes due to it´s pure and simple basic forms. The jazzy cursive, available in all weights, looks as a simply slanted letter, but when works in conjunction with its regular version, generates an outstanding typographic game. As usual, Maese Patau offer us a extensive typeface in weights, extensive on supported languages, and all kind of OpenType´s capabilities.

Katlynne is unpredictable. Katlynne is erratic. Katlynne is beautiful. Katlynne is an alternating contrast, sans serif type family. Arbitrarily separating the characters into ‘rounder’ and ‘straighter’ letterforms to determine what contrast each glyph will take. Katlynne is inspired by the observations made while watching the inexperienced use of broad tip pens. I found how and when individuals rotated their pen gave a visually intrusive, if not also pleasantly conspicuous effect. Often, the pen would naturally rotate horizontally (vertical contrast) on the rounder letterforms, and vertically (reverse contrast) on the straighter ones. This is more or less the formula Katlynne adopts as the contrast changes throughout the styles. Katlynne’s severity of contrast varies from ‘Negative Three’ to ‘Positive Three’ in four weights. With a central style ‘Book’ being the sensible, low contrast font in the family. Within the family there are four weights with 7 contrast styles, with complimenting true italics. Giving a total of 56 fonts! Katlynne's array of options works for creating stylistic similitude within layouts, where conspicuous title faces are needed with a cohesive text face to compliment. Alone, the ends of the contrast spectrum (Negative and Positive Three) create striking word forms for advertising, packaging and anywhere else a loud voice is needed.

SS Vortax is a space-age themed display sans featuring broad strokes and tight spacing. This close relative of Galaxus features imposing Capitals with some sharp slants in the Italic version. It’s designed to cover horizontal blocks effortlessly. Most characters have curves on the exterior with right angles on the interior. This dynamic contrast makes it a great choice for a video game/app, toy packaging, or sports logo. SS Vortax is equipped with European accents for international support. Fedtspiller is danish and the definition could be someone who plays with a low risk and defensive (at least when talking about soccer) Although there is a slight negative feeling to that, I remember several guys when playing soccer as a kid who benefitted as playing as a "Fedtspiller" :) Anyway, Fedtspiller is a legible comic/text font with softened edges. Comes in both Regular, Scribble and Rough - all of these versions include Contextual Alternates (4 different versions of each lowercase letter) and multilingual support
