Grava is Neil Summerour’s injection of warmth within the geometric sans font category. Historically, geometric sans families have been based on primal shapes — triangle, circle, square — and the more closely they held to those rigid rules, the more internal inconsistencies they showed. Angles won’t match up correctly, letters will lean, overshoots complicate clean typesetting, and idealized circles become grotesque and unwieldy in some weights. Because of issues like these, geometric sans fonts have a reputation of being cold, austere, even a bit “off”. Grava was made to hold a T-square and triangle in one hand while giving a welcoming handshake with the other. The Grava font family comes in two styles (a normal and a Display), each with 20 weights (Thin to Ultra) and paired with italics. Its design allowed the three scripts of Latin, Cyrillic, and Greek to emerge seamlessly, ensuring Grava will find its home in multilingual publications. Anne's Hand is a custom handwriting font of Anne Hubbard, who tragically lost her battle with anorexia nervosa this past January. Anne loved to write, so her brother Richard designed a custom font of her handwriting as a tribute to her memory. All proceeds from its sale will go to the National Eating Disorders Association to support programs and services like the NEDA Navigators and Loss Support Network, programs that many families count on for support.

This font was inspired from the medieval Dances of Death patterns, as a modest tribute to the famous engraver Hans Holbein's Alphabet of Death. We have tried to keep the spirit of the time -- its sarcastic humor mixed with its objective and frozen realism. The font, consisting in two complete capital alphabets: Initials and caps, and a lot of separate figures added, is especially improved by strong enlargements, 72 pts and more, and has very good results when printed.

The Pommes font originates from my mid seventies potato punchcuttings at artschool. Since I’m living in a potato republic (NE of the province of Groningen) I got inspired to continue. I prepared this culinary alphabet as a tribute to this wonderful allround vegetable. Belgian and French recipies helped me in selecting and cutting/cooking the 6 styles. The Pommes-Dauphine Ultra Heavy (too much eggs added) can be used as a layer behind the Pommes-Dauphine.

Bauen (worker in German) is a tribute to the Bauhaus school that has just completed its first centenary and whose ideas are still relevant. It is a geometric typeface inspired by the sans serif typefaces prevailing in those years, and whose cradle resides in the Bauhaus school. It has a wide language coverage, and a generous range of OpenType functionalities, to make it an all-rounder for our day to day, and especially for corporate use.

The name of the font is from the hilarious movie "21 Jump Street" - and that is where the similarity ends. While the movie is quite funny, it is also super goofy! I can't say the same about the font, because terms like organic and organic comes to my mind. Strange, yes! And I have really no good reason for this naming, other that its an odd way to tribute this one of my all time favourite comic movies! :)
