Cooper Goodtime is a font based on the lettering used on the CBS-TV variety series The Glen Campbell Goodtime Hour (1969-1972). The name pays tribute to its two origins, the other being Cooper Black. It was never an actual complete font set on the TV show, only a limited number of handmade letters, all upper case. It has lain dormant since the show went off the air in 1972. With this incarnation, a set of lower case letters has been created to complement the upper case letters. These lower case letters never existed before now. Cooper Goodtime is a funky, nostalgic, cool way to create a display, and it works surprisingly well in text sizes, too.

A bit of experimentation with the Art Deco-flavored Sign Card JNL brings forth a hybrid alphabet where Art Deco meets Western. The result is Kalvesta JNL. This font's unusual character shapes defy and yet redefine the notion of the classic Western alphabet. The name is from a town in Kansas.

Eckhardt Fancy JNL was named in honor of Al Eckhardt (1929-2005), a talented sign painter and good friend of font designer Jeff Levine. The design was inspired by a vintage alphabet found within a collection of decorative display alphabets from the type collection of the late Dan X. Solo.

Shicken Zoop JNL is based on an old lettering stencil from the early 1950s. The A-Z and a-z keystrokes contain the bulk of the Hebrew alphabet. Additional letters are found on the exclamation point, quote and apostrophe keystrokes. Vowels are positioned on the period, comma, hyphen, colon and semicolon. Please note that this is not a normal Hebrew font; it is in effect a latin font with Hebrew letters appearing in place of latin letters. It will not allow you to copy and paste with other samples of Hebrew text.

An interesting hand lettered example of Art Deco lettering (minus the letter ‘L’) was spotted on Pinterest and served as the inspiration for Deco Sketch JNL. Because there was no attribution as to the age or source of the alphabet, it can only be surmised that it was a scan from a 1930s or 1940s source. The original showed many of the irregularities of pen lettering, and had rounded terminals. The digital version has been redrawn more uniformly with flat terminals. Deco Sketch JNL is available in both regular and oblique versions.

Gradle Nr. 1 is yet another new art nouveau design in the URW++ library. It was reworked, redesigned, completed and digitally remastered by Ralph M. Unger for URW++, based on hand-drawn upper case characters by M. J. Gradl, about in 1900. Gradl Nr. 1 is a caps-only font perfectly suited for posters and signage.

J. M. Bergling called the inspiration for this typeface “modern”—at least, it passed for modern in 1914. Its bold, sinuous forms and unusual decorative treatment suggest stained glass of a certain era, and so its name is German for “Arts and Crafts”. Both versions of the font include 1252 Latin, 1250 CE (with localization for Romanian and Moldovan).

The orthography was invented in 1952 by a Sufi Sheikh, named Hussein Sheikh Ahmed Kaddare. A phonetically robust writing system, the technical commissions that appraised the Kaddare alphabet concurred that it was the most accurate indigenous script and orthography for transcribing the Somali language. Kaddare uses both upper and lower case letters, with the lower case represented in cursive.

A friend bought me a Chinese calligraphic brush set in a beautifully decorated box. I started to letter the alphabet on parchment, in my own hand, using quick strokes and found the resulting script had an interesting energy to it. After further refinement in my font application software 'Swordtail' was born. A great free-hand script.

Cresci is a carefully digitized reproduction of an alphabet of Giovan Francesco Cresci, the pre-eminent Renaissance writing master whose lettering virtuosity presaged the exuberance of the Baroque. His published writing book, "Il Perfetto Scrittore" (1570) was the inspiration for the typeface, designed by Garrett Boge in 1996. Cresci is part of the LetterPerfect Baroque Set.

A collision between fine, fat caps developed by legendary letterer Alf Becker, and a squirrely, curly, uncredited lowercase uncovered by artist Leslie Cabarga produced this merry romp through the alphabet. P22 Mucha is inspired by the free-flowing lettering styles of art Nouveau master Alfons Mucha, circa 1900. This font adapts his distinctive style into a new organic type suitable for many occasions. Mucha evokes the essence of Paris and Prague from 100 years ago, yet it is still fresh in its innovative approach to the alphabet.

The font I made based on the Greek alphabet used by the Karamanlı Turks, who are Orthodox Christians, by adapting it to Turkish, which I deduced by looking at the inscriptions and translations. In order to write in Turkish, Turkish special characters are loaded with letter combinations and sounds. But it can still be easily written in Greek.

The Nov. 13, 1915 and Nov. 27, 1915 issues of Moving Picture World carried ads for Jesse L. Lasky Productions in which the titles of the upcoming films were hand lettered in an elegant Art Nouveau spurred serif style. This stylish alphabet is now available digitally as Movie Producer JNL in both regular and oblique versions.

Body Art is a unique font whose upper-case and lower-case characters are formed by combining the silhouettes of two to four men and women of different figures and sizes to form the letters of the alphabet. Woodbranch JNL is a solid version of the 2013 font release Woodlawn JNL. The design was originally based on examples of an outline (open face) wood type. This interpretation takes on newer, stronger characteristics as a bold typeface when the "inner letters" of the original alphabet were removed, yet the imperfection of the wood type pieces are still maintained.

Charisma was inspired by the hand lettering used by draftsmen and architects. It is casual and informal and is ideal for use in conveying these qualities. Strobos was designed by Vince Whitlock, who used the Corinthian typeface as a model. It is a dramatic, high-tech alphabet which is most effective in large display sizes. Big Band JNL is a classic Art Deco typeface in every sense of the word. Large, bold and innovative in its sectional construction, the font is based on a lettering example found in a 1941 Speedball® Lettering Pen instruction book. The basic alphabet was used for the model, with a new set of numbers and additional characters created by Jeff Levine in order to make this font fully functional in today’s digital designs.

PT Orden™ was designed by Oleg Karpinsky in 2000-2001 and licensed by ParaType. Orden is a genuine Cyrillic typeface, it contains antique Cyrillic letter forms such as d, z, N with a diagonal stroke, symmetrical Y ,× and Ù, rare in modern typography. Hand lettered Art Deco lettering for the title on the cover of the 1930s-era song "And I Still Do" provided the inspiration for Swing Era JNL. A bold, casual and friendly typeface, it features an intersecting inline through some of the characters. One could almost picture the hottest big band of the day promoted on a lobby card with this alphabet, beckoning all to come on in and "cut a rug".
