Belgravia is an Art Nouveau period design based on hand lettering from the 1890s. Like our popular Pantagruel font it has a lot of the elements which would influence later Psychedelic poster lettering in the 1960s. Very nice looking with a good weight for title designs.

Blacker mono was developed out of a brief by Isabella Ahmadzadeh, by Cosimo Lorenzo Pancini and Francesco Canovaro for the editorial project "A beautiful mistake" by OFFF Tlv in 2022. It is a monospaced version of our typeface Blacker, bringing its "evil serif" aesthetics in the realm of typewriter and coding typefaces. In designing these, usually the letterforms are deformed to better fill the space, but in Blacker Mono only the serifs are modified to balance letters, while letter skeletons are kept consistent with the ones of the original Blacker family. This gives the typeface an uneven, unexpected rhythm, underlined by the unusual choice of providing three optical sizes and some extreme display weights - both uncommon choices in monospaced fonts. The resulting typefamily is thought for use in editorial situations where readability must be married by a strong personality, and is complemented by all the wide array of Open Type features that are present in all Blacker variants, from positional numerals to small case letters and alternates.

ROARRR! THE STYLES -Pantera Pro is the most complete style, and although its default look is mono-rhythmic it gets really playful and crazy like the examples of the posters by just activating the Decorative Ligatures button in the Open-type Panel of Adobe Illustrator. However, I recommend using also the Glyphs Panel because there you'll find much more variants per letter. Pantera Pro is in fact, coded in a way the combination of thicknesses will always look fantastic. -Pantera Black Left, and Pantera Black Right are actually “lite” versions of Pantera Pro: They have very little Open-Type code, so what you see here is what you get. Pantera Black Left has its left strokes thick, while Pantera Black Right has its right strokes thick. -Pantera White is a lovely member in this family that looks lighter and airy, hence its name. With the feature Standard Ligatures activated (liga) the font gets very playful. -Pantera Caps is based on sign painters lettering and since it follows the same pointed brush rules as the other styles, it matches perfectly. -Pantera Claws like its name suggests, is a set of icons that were done by our dear panther. THE STORY It is said that typography can never be as expressive as calligraphy, but sometimes it can get close enough. I tend to think that calligraphic trials, in order to work well as potential fonts, need first to go through very strict filters before going digital: While calligraphy is synonym of freedom (once its rules are mastered), type-design, in the other hand, has its battlefield a little tighter and tougher. When I practice pointed brush lettering, there are so many things happening on the paper. And most of them are delicious. The ones who know my work may see that although many of my fonts are very expressive, my handmade brush trials are much more lively than them. With that in mind, this time I tried to go further and rescue more of those things that are lost in the process of thinking type when first sketches are calligraphic. I wondered if I could create something wild, hence its name Panther, by understanding the randomness that sometimes calligraphy conveys and turning it to something systemic: With Pantera, I created an ordered disorder. Like it happens a lot in many kinds of lettering styles, in order to enrich the written word the scribe mixes the thickness of the strokes and the width of the letters. Like one of my favorite mentors say (1), they make thoughtful gestures Some lively strokes go down with a thick, while some do that with a thin. Some letters are very narrow, meaning some of them will need to be very wide to compensate. Why not?. The calligrapher is always thinking on the following letters, and he/she designs in his head the combination of thicks and thins before he/she executes them. He/she knows the playful rhythm the words will have before writing them. It takes time and skill to master this and achieve graceful results. Going back to the font, in Pantera, this combination of varying thicknesses and widths of letters were Open-Type coded so the user will see satisfactory results by just enabling or disabling some buttons on the glyphs panel. I'm very pleased with the result since it’s not very easy to find fonts which play with the words' rhythm like Pantera does, following of course, a strong calligraphic base. CAPITALIZED, geometric, bold and round. If the typo­grapher sees a font like that, it's enough to make his toes curl. But sometimes it just has to be that way. Geometrically constructed fonts do not necessarily have to be pointed and angular; It also works consistently around. And if I say it consistently, then in this case, that's done consistently. The basis for the BOULE is the circle. The letters are drawn with constant line width, the “corners“ and endings all have the same radius, the lines are all the same thickness. The BOULE consists only of capitals. There is only one difference in the use of uppercase and lowercase letters: in the uppercase letters, the round letters are circular, while the lowercase letters are narrow. The character set of the Boule contains all letters and accents to support the Western, Northern, Central and Eastern European languages with Latin alphabet. The BOULE is not only very fat, it also runs very tight; that is, the glyphs are very close to each other. To avoid "holes" due to unfortunate letter combinations, the BOULE contains ligatures for FT, ST, TT and TZ. There are also other versions of the font: BOULE Brillant on the one hand. In this version, simple highlights simulate a light incidence from the top right. These light edges give the font a decorative effect that makes it easy to think of wet sausages or balloons in some shapes. And finally the BOULE Contour. As the name implies, it is the outer contour of the letters, combined with a shadow at the bottom left. The name BOULE (French for ball) says it already: this font is globated. Therefore, it is also very suitable for all three-dimensional alienation effects. With simple light and shadow you can achieve a very convincing 3D effect with little effort.

In Amaboxi the upper-case letters are all placed upon a background inspired by the cardboard boxes that many people in Africa use to carry their possessions. The box takes its shape from the character and conversely, the character is influenced by the shape of the box. All characters except the six "fractions" are included in Amaboxi. It includes all upper and lower case letters as well as all numerals, punctuation, accented and special characters. All characters have been letter-spaced and kerned in terms of the box (not the character). This improves legibility, however, the inter-character spacing has been minimized so that there is often a very slight overlap between the boxes of adjacent characters. This generates an exciting and variable "white space" around the characters.

Being a geometric sanserif ocr-t comes in eleven weights from ultrawhite to infrablack (brightwhite, white, silver, lightgrey, grey, darkgrey, anthracite, black, jetblack). With more than 600 glyphs it covers all your typographic needs and manages to stay at the same place no matter which width you’re using. Its readability and legibility is more than fine although it needs no kerning. The infrablack is really black, in order to achieve this, the form of letters change from darkgrey to anthracite from upright to some kind of upright italic. This also gives opportunity to mix two weights with same colour but different architecture. Balneario Script is a small tribute to a coastal port and tourist city. Through the Sign Painters, in its golden age, a clear, friendly, practical, and functional way of making itself heard evolved. Far from wanting to be perfect, a typeface seeks to be close, warm, and casual. Inspired by the gestures of the brush, Balneario Script reverts to the use of “Casual Letters” so used by Sign Painters. In this adaptation, we sought to adjust its morphology to optimize its performance in small formats and extend the system to include lower case letters as part of the set. Salome is a revival, normalization and elaborate expansion of a 1972 film face called Cantini. The original film type, released by a tiny independent outfit called Letter Graphics, looked like it was hand drawn with little consideration for consistency in essential lettering flow measurements, like angles, stroke widths, and vertical metrics. All these issues have been resolved in this digital version, and the original character set, including the whole lot of alternates, was entirely redrawn and expanded to include even more alternates and many useful ligatures, as well as extended support for Latin-based languages. Combining elements of early 20th century art nouveau with common 1960s and 1970s signage and poster lettering flair, Salome uses curls and curves to wave its fantastic shapes in a most hypnotic dance. Salome simply cannot be unseen. Just like its namesake, the female seduction icon, it does not hesitate to put all of its natural beauty and energy on display in order to get what it wants. The Salden fonts are our tribute to the man who was dubbed the face of the Dutch book, and whose work is considered essential in 20th century Dutch design history. Helmut Salden’s exquisite book cover designs were the gold standard in the Netherlands for more than four decades. His influence over Dutch lettering artists and book designers ranges far and wide, and his work continues to be used commercially and exhibited to this very day. At the root of Salden’s design work was a unique eye for counter space and incredible lettering skills that never failed to awe, regardless of category or genre. This made our attention to his lettering all the more focused within our appreciation to his overall aesthetic. Though Salden never designed alphabets to be turned into typefaces (he drew sets of letters which he sometimes recycled and modified to fit various projects), we thought there was enough there to deduce what a few different typefaces by Salden would have looked like. The man was prolific, so there were certainly enough forms to guide us, and enough variation in style to push our excitement even further. And so we contacted the right people, obtained access to the relevant material, and had a lot of fun from there. This set covers the gamut of Salden’s lettering talents. Included are his famous caps, his untamed, chunky flare sans serif in two widths, his unique Roman letters and an italic companion and, most recognizable of all, his one-of-a-kind scripty upright italic lowercase shapes, which he used alongside Roman caps drawn specifically for that kind of combination titling. All the fonts in this set include Pan-European glyph sets. They’re also loaded with extras. Salden Roman (908 glyphs) and Salden Italic (976 glyphs) each come with built-in small caps (and caps-to-small-caps), quite a few ligatures, and two different sets of alternates. Salden Black and Salden Black Condensed (636 glyphs each) come with a set of alternates, and both lining and oldstyle figures. We consider ourselves very fortunate to be the ones bringing them to the world as our contribution to maintaining the legacy of a legendary talent and a great designer. The majority of the work was based on Salden’s original drawings, access to which was graciously provided by Museum Meermanno in The Hague. The Salden fonts were done in agreement with Stichting 1940-1945, and their sale will in part benefit Museum Meermanno.

This rugged typeface is based on letterforms in the Cherokee Syllabary, reputedly devised by a gentleman named Sequoyah in the early nineteenth century. In addition, Native American petroglyphs—some authentic Cherokee designs, some from other tribes—are included in several positions. The name of the typeface, however, is authentic Cherokee, and can be loosely translated as “Yo! Wuzzup?” Both versions of the font include 1252 Latin, 1250 CE (with localization for Romanian and Moldovan).

An early 20th-Century French lettering book displayed at an online image sharing site stood out with a hand-lettered version of a classic Victorian font. The lettering - a spur serif top and a split serif (or "Western-style") bottom is the basis for Jeff Levine's Les Folies JNL. All of the nuances and idiosyncracies of hand-lettering are left intact.
