It seems black crayons are out of stock where I live. I can buy all the colors I want, except black ones… I really needed a crayon, so I bought this ridiculously expensive professional marker crayon ($14 for 1!!!) and created this font. P22 Albemarle is a smooth reworking of the popular rough textured Roanoke font. The texture change gives this style a much more elegant effect, yet retains its skilled capturing of historical handwriting. Scriptek was created by British designer David Quai in 1992, based on the constructivist forms which became popular after the First World War with the progressing industrialization in Moskow. Typefaces such as Scriptek were often used in the propaganda of totalitarian political systems and can still be seen on monuments like the central train station in Milan or political posters of the 1930s and 40s. The robust Scriptek has strong serifs in the upper left and lower right of characters and this, together with the diagonal strokes of many lower case letters, gives the font a dynamic feel. Scriptek is best used for headlines and display.

Amelia Jayne is Ted Staunton's updated revision and expansion of his own Amelia decorative cap font. Amelia Jayne started as a Roman font to accompany the Amelia initials but has taken on a new life as a Pro Roman font with small caps and several variations of new matching initial companion fonts. (The initials are not included in the pro font but come bundled with the set.)

In the 70's I went out with a girl whose father was a card-carrying member of 3 of the biggest unions in the printing arts. He gave me 2 things, a pre-war Linotype specimen book and an ancient 'how to' lettering book that contained 30 or 40 script specimens from lettering artists of the time. Tiamaria is the developed glyphs of one of these specimens. Tiamaria is the name of one of the islands in the Galapagos chain.

Eurobrush Pro is a new handwriting script designed by German type designer Ralph M. Unger. He produced not only the standard Western character complement, but added all of the Eastern European Latin glyphs and, on top of that, even the complete Cyrillic characters. Born and grown up in Th�ringen, former East Germany, Unger has a fair knowledge of Polish and also Russian (Cyrillic). Eurobrush Pro is a very beautiful, casual, informal and modern handwriting in `brush-style of a contemporary type designer. Even though a digitized handwriting, it keeps a very natural and pleasant look, at the same time being generous and well-readable. The individual characters combine quite easily and perfectly with no need for extra variants (although Unger included a number of ligatures).
