The inspiration for this typeface family came from my childhood experiences at West Monkton, amidst an historic part of the South West of England. Studies of the original incised capitals of the Trajan column in Rome were analysed and polished for this modern version. The lower case letterforms and numerals were then created in sympathy, taking their proportions from the incised letters of local gravestones. Its name honours not only the area where the original alphabet was conceived and drawn, but also the people responsible for fostering my initial interest in letters.

Download the PDF provided for each font for simple guides to constructing various borders. All characters have identical widths, so use spaces between left and right-side elements. For best results, set solid (no extra leading) and use flush left, flush right or center justification to assure proper alignment.

The history of this font is those. Once I assorted the old children's books which have stayed from times of my childhood. On one of them I have seen a trade mark of a printing house consisting of two Russian letters "L" and "B". From they were begun also with my font. And though finally from these letters a little that remained, elements of these letters can be seen in font D-block B.

A set of vintage lettering templates manufactured by Albert Nestler in Germany yielded this Art-Deco flavored typeface with many unusual letter forms. Lettering templates were used for decades by architects and draftsmen prior to other advanced lettering methods to label renderings, blueprints and layouts. Although they are similar to stencils in the fact that the lettering is traced, templates are designed to produce solid lettering with the use of a technical pen.

Bill Display is a post-Max Bill font, developed in close cooperation with the Max Bill Georges Vantongerloo foundation. Grand Central JNL is named for the most luxurious train depot in the nation—Grand Central Station in New York City. Monograph conjures ancient typewriters, telephone switchboards, vintage office machines past visions of the future. As though it were drawn with the rounded nib a of a Speedball "B" style pen, the soft curves and rounded serifs speak of a gentler less complicated time. Umerica first made its appearance in 2007 as a series of characters in a pdf I posted to Typophile. It has taken a lot of time, and determination, for me to finally decide to complete it. I had the basic font completed in 2008, but put it aside as the creation of the italics it deserved were beyond me. That was then. Now the italic version has finally been added twelve years later.

Vestigio m. Ing. & Fr. vestige: a trace, mark or visible sign left by something as an ancient city in a condition or practice vanished or lost. Vestigia is born by lost pieces of other typography, being then, Garbancera's descendant. It evolved to be seen in big point sizes and compete with other fierce competitors, while retaining some features of it ancient predecessor, navigates a gothic fraktur experimental style, existing between legible and illegible reading.

Two handlettered typefaces from J. M. Bergling’s 1914 classic, Art Alphabets and Lettering collided to produce this lively and unusual combination. The caps were originally called "Morocco", and the lowercase are taken from his Keramic Text. The result suggested more of an Egyptian flair, in an offbeat kind of way, and so it got its name. Both versions of the font include 1252 Latin, 1250 CE (with localization for Romanian and Moldovan).

M Hei Sung PRC is a monolinear style Simplified Chinese typeface. Monolinear font designs have little or no thick-thin contrast in the strokes, and modest design characteristics at entry, finial and transitional points of the strokes. The Monolinear category includes Hei (or Gothic) and Yuen typefaces.

Many current poster artists like to reference the graphic type styles that were popular in the ’60s and ’70s.
