PF DIN Mono is the latest addition to the ever-growing set of DIN super-families by Parachute. It was based on its proportional counterpart DIN Text Pro but was completely redesigned to reflect its new identity. DIN Mono is a monospace typeface which is comprised of characters with fixed width. Traditionally, monospaced fonts have been used to create forms, tables and documents that require exact text line lengths and precise character alignment. DIN Mono, on the other hand, can prove to be more than a useful typeface for technical applications. In the world of proportionality, DIN Mono stands out as a fresh new alternative to the popular standard, particularly for publishing and branding applications. Additional care was given to the aesthetic form and its pleasing characteristics. The spacing attributes of the glyphs were redefined and legibility was further improved by revising or changing the shape of the letterforms. Furthermore, kerning was not included in order to preserve the monospace nature of this typeface. The family consists of 12 weights including true-italics. Currently, it supports Latin, Eastern European, Turkish and Baltic.

Chercán is a spirited typeface created with a delicate sense of how readability doesn't need to be dull. Medieval Times is a digital revival of an illuminated alphabet dating back to a text from the medieval period. Each letter is made up of several different human or mythological animal figures engaged in activities that reflect the beliefs and myths of that enchanted era. Some examples of the beings that you will find in this font are: griffins, dragons, chimeras, lions, gargoyles, unknown mythical winged creatures, peasants, priests, saints, and warriors battling with spears. Based on a fifteenth century Textura Blackletter typeface, Octoberfest has a companion with Lombardic style capitals, Octoberfest Alternate. Inspired from Cambodia’s alphabet, Khmer. I tried to explore the visual of the original character in Latin characters. Inspired by 2 gothic fonts, Old London (for the modern/straight feel) and Berliner (for the dynamic between thin and bold line). The letters are made with pencil in a millimeter block book, then scanned into clean vector format. It echoes many features of the Gothic, Grotesque and Sans Serif models of the period, based particularly on the 1870 Figgins.

Cruz Quaste is a calligraphic medieval type, drawn by Måns Grebäck between 2018-2020. While traditional in character it is yet original, and could be described as a reinvented Gothic style. Its blackletter style it works great in historical contexts, or to give projects a tough feeling. Cruz Quaste contains OpenType features such as alternates and ligatures. The font is multilingual and supports all Latin-based European languages. It contains numbers, punctuation and all symbols you'll ever need.

Wittingau is the original German expression for “Třeboň”, which is a beautiful town near my studio in South Bohemia. I love it for its calm and inspiring atmosphere and rich cultural past dating from the 12th century. The present typeface family is released as homage to Třeboň in the style of its greatest glory – Gothic Revival with classicistic decorativeness. Wittingau is excellent for music covers, book and catalogue jackets, invitations and posters. Contains many ornaments for creating decorative wallpapers.

Devil Kalligraphy was performed by Argentina Lián Types in 2007. The shapes of each caracter have a strong personality. It was based on antique writings. Devil Kalligraphy was inspirated in calligraphy styles. Gothic and Uncial themselves. A mix with lots of personal qualities. Devil Kalligraphy has ligatures which look evil. Ascendents and descendents were designed to look that way too. Kerning was designed taking into account the way calligraphers used (and still use) to write: Pattern looking.

The pattern for this font was found in the 1906 specimen book for the Keystone Type Foundry under the name Ancient Gothic, which is a pretty accurate description of the particular appeal of this typeface. Use it liberally anytime you want to add an air of mystery or menace...or simply some quaint charm. Jh Fares is a modern / simple Kufic style font. The user may notice plenty of white space around the text leading to a highly readable font. The Kufic script is one of the oldest Arabic Handwriting, first appeared in el Koufa - Iraq. The original calligraphy was derived from the Aramaic letters; later it went thru lots of enhancements. Calorie Suit is a clean and super sharp comic font. Actually the use of Calorie Suit is quite wide. I'd like to dare you to use this font for massive texts, even though the real force of the font is for one liners or catchwords. Originally drawn in hand, and then cleaned up beyond recognition - but keeping the characteristics of the original sketch. You may notice influences from graffiti here and there too! :)
