Stettinum Nicodemus Pro is a project to revitalize lettering from tenement houses in Szczecin. The project includes the digitization of letter remains from ul. Kaszubska in Szczecin to form functional fonts. The main idea of the project was to preserve the disappearing remnants of Szczecin's typographic past, which, despite the span of glyphs limited by time, can be an inspiration for many future extensions of the already established family. Stettinum Nicodemus Pro Sansum is a family of typefaces consisting of 7 variations. The block structure with a regular structure and a relatively high minuscule allows for many different applications. Versions 700, 800 and 900 are intended for titles, headings and emphasis, typefaces 300 to 600 are text typefaces.

We think of Cherritt as a 'bullnosed' serif face, because of its rounded off serifs. What that phrase may not convey is the friendly, approachable nature of this large family of faces. The design was originally inspired by traditional draftsmens' hand-drawn serif lettering, but has been given a precise geometric flavor that suits it for work owing its inspiration to any era, from Victorian times through to the purely modern. They are ideal for headings and poster work, but also for setting small volumes of text. Four weights are included in the family, as well as wide, expanded and condensed forms, true small capitals and openface forms. All family members embody extensive OpenType features.

A companion to Springsteel (sans), this serif typeface is intended for longer text blocks and smaller sizes. Like the sans-serif, it has unusual construction using curves on the outside and straight lines inside characters, giving it quite an expressive and warm feel. It contains small caps and old-style figures, as well as superior/inferior figures and common fractions and mathematical symbols. It supports Western plus Nordic, Eastern European and Turkish languages. Excellent spacing and extensive kerning (over 2800 pairs) provided by Igino Marini/iKern. The free fonts in the Springsteel Serif Extreme family (thin and heavy weights) should only be used as display typefaces, at large size and short text blocks.

A Practical Calligraphic Hand. Eagle Lake Pro is based on the calligraphic lettering style known based on the practical Running Book Hand. Although initially designed as a rational/geometric font, Triplex developed into one of Zuzana Licko's most intuitive typeface designs at the time. Its first extensive use was in Emigre magazine #14, a special issue devoted to Swiss designers published in 1990. Triplex was intended as a friendly substitute for Helvetica. The name Triplex refers to the three versions that make up the entire family; Triplex, Triplex Serif and Triplex Italic. Each version of the typeface comes in light, bold and extra bold. Alternate Characters To maintain neutrality and a modern appearance, the standard character set largely dispenses with idiosyncratic forms. This is in contrast to the alternative forms with the gill-like lowercase letters g and t as well as a traditional shape of S and the German ligature t/z, which traces back to old German spellings. Also inspired by German poster designs from the early 20th century are the elongated i-dots and dieresis-dots that can create eye-catchers in headlines or logos. Xunga is a cheerful display typeface. My goal was to design a font able to fit any layout with boldness and playfulness, mixing a sign painter taste in the uppercase and some of my crappy calligraphic reverse contrast explorations with the flat brush for the lowercase. I designed several of widths to fit the page, and though about a different way of expanding the family shifting the horizontal stress axis to move the letter weight in different heights, making a 15 fonts family, suitable for making bold layouts. Xunga has an extended character set for European languages as well as Vietnamese, and shows all its potential with OpenType-savvy applications. Every font includes ligatures, catchwords in discretional ligatures, contextual alternates to avoid conflictive glyph pairs and localized forms to avoid problems with several glyphs and languages.

Let us introduce you the official big update of Intro type family with essential upgrades to this contemporary sans serif. The weight distributions completely revised has brought 8 new weights and matching italics resulting in 72-fonts family with 22 fonts extra. This classified version of Monkton, with its expanded proportions and extended serifs can be used at small sizes for classified advertising, newspaper text or larger displays. Its semi-medium weight (heavier than Book weight) makes it robust to be legible when smaller and cope with various printing methods. The inspiration for this typeface family came from my childhood experiences at Monkton, amidst an historic part of the South West of England. Studies of the original incised capitals of the Trajan column in Rome were analysed and polished for this modern version. The lower case letterforms and numerals were then created in sympathy, taking their proportions from the incised letters of local gravestones. Its name honours not only the area where the original alphabet was conceived and drawn, but also the people responsible for fostering my initial interest in letters.

The original Frutiger typeface was designed in the early 1970s by Adrian Frutiger and his studio for the way finding system of the Roissy Charles de Gaulle airport in Paris. Soon after the airport was opened, a huge demand for the typeface arose from companies wanting to employ it in other signage systems, as well as in printed matter. The Frutiger typeface came out as part of the Linotype library in 1977. Epitomizing functionality and clarity both in signage and as a bread-and-butter typeface in print, Frutiger became a modern classic. Neue Frutiger® is the 2009 version of the Frutiger typeface family. It was revised and improved by Akira Kobayashi in close collaboration with Adrian Frutiger. While Frutiger Next, the 1999 revision, introduced a new concept (including a larger x-height, a more pronounced ascender height, narrower letter-spacing and, most notably, an italic with calligraphic traits), Neue Frutiger returns to the original 1977 design. The result is a well-balanced range of 10 finely-graded weights. Despite the various changes, the ‘New Frutiger’ still fits perfectly with Frutiger and serves to harmoniously enhance the styles already in existence. The typeface was designed after seeing a photocopy of some News Gothic text where the ink had faded on the bottom of each character. As character recognition is generally based on the top half of a character, readability was never compromised. Rather like Antique Olive the characters have a top heavy look when viewed straight on, however, as most type is read at an angle with the top further away than the bottom this top heavy look is diminished.

ATF Agency Gothic was designed by Morris Fuller Benton in 1932 as a lone titling typeface. In 1990, David Berlow saw potential in the squared forms of the narrow, monotone capitals. He designed a lowercase and added a bold to produce Font Bureau Agency, an immediately popular hit. Inspired from Cambodia’s alphabet, Khmer. I tried to explore the visual of the original character in Latin characters. Inspired by 2 gothic fonts, Old London (for the modern/straight feel) and Berliner (for the dynamic between thin and bold line). The letters are made with pencil in a millimeter block book, then scanned into clean vector format. And the result can be use for Display or a Headline with traditional or ethnic theme, including film, game, event, etc.
