Glitzy is a caps-only font with extreme contrast. It was inspired by Art Deco typefaces, especially Broadway by Morris Fuller Benton, but Glitzy is not an attempt to reproduce that typeface. The letters on the lower-case keys differ slightly from the letters on the upper-case keys. The large black interiors invite decoration and the family includes four faces with interior decoration. These four faces with interior decoration can be used in layers with the base font to add color to lettering. (OakPark is a another attempt to do high-contrast lettering with an Art Deco feel.)

The birth of the monospaced types dates back to the past. There was a need for the creation of typesets for typewriters. The difficulty was to align the different glyphs in the same width. This led to particular problems with letters like "M" and "l"; the former seemed to be squeezed into the same width of all letters and the second one appeared way too stretched. Tioga is a highly legible typeface designed specifically to display clearly on low-resolution displays. Whomp takes its inspiration from the work of an American master in sign painting and alphabet manipulation: Alf Becker . In 1932, Becker began designing a series of alphabets to be published in Signs of the Times magazine at the rate of one alphabet per month. Nine years later, 100 of those alphabets were compiled in one book that became an enormous success among sign painters. In the late 1990s and early 2000s, many Alf Becker alphabets were digitized with blurbs that falsely credit an “Alf Becker typeface”. Alf Becker was not really a typeface kind of guy. He was more of a calligrapher and sign painter. His alphabets were either incomplete or full of variations on different letters, and didn't become typefaces until the digital era. This particular Becker alphabet was quite incomplete. In fact, it wasn't a showing of an alphabet, but words on a poster. Alejandro Paul took the challenge of drawing, digitizing, restructuring, and finally building a complete usable typeface from that partial alphabet. He then extended his pleasure by once again playing with the wonderful possibilities of OpenType. Richard Dix started as a surgeon and turned out an actor, one of the lucky few who made a successful transition from silent film to talkies. In 1929 he made the movie western, “Redskins,” and his name appeared on a brilliant poster promoting the film. “Richard DIX”; four upper case and six lower case letters. The font Dix is derived and extrapolated from impressions of those 10 letters. Inspired by the poster for the 1929 film, “Redskin,” and a desire to create a black Edwardian font with an offbeat serif. Acklebury is a chunky, reverse contrast, slab-serif typeface available in two styles. It has heaps of personality, plenty of open type features, and a whole host of special characters and dingbats. Although it's drawn from historical sources, Acklebury is not a straight revival, rather more of an homage to the many, varied, extended lining figures of the late 1800's. Acklebury celebrates the once labelled 'hideous' combination of wide rounded forms and hard slab serifs. Only using modern type technology to fix the spacing and kerning issues that would of been impossible with metal or wooden type. Acklebury is not a French Clarendon, neither is it really an Italienne... but it is phat, wide and hella funky.

DrivEddie was an attempt to create a rough, hand-drawn typeface that was quirky but easily readable. It has a few serifs so it is almost but not quite san serif. All vertical stems are curved. For almost 25 years DrivEddie was a one-font family and one-font families often have limited applications. In 2020 I returned to this typeface to increase its possible uses by adding five new styles: italic, semibold, semibold-italic, bold, and bold-italic. I also corrected mistakes and added characters.

Urban Grotesk attempts to follow the best of traditions of Grotesk typefaces: rounded arches, slightly thinner connecting strokes and a vertical shadowing axis, where outstrokes are terminated strictly in perpendicular to the stroke direction. The primary characteristics are the connection of the rounded stroke to the stem, a round dot, lower and more thrifty uppercase, and generous numerals. The width proportions of characters is almost unified, the text colour creates a unified grey area on a page. An airy metric aids good legibility in shorter texts.
