Vanitas Stencil is an elegant high contrast contemporary sans. It is rooted in the style of a classic didone, excluding the typical serifs and ball terminals as well as being designed with a cleaner, more reductionist appearance. Strict attention was given to the cohesiveness and balance between letterforms as well as the careful refinement of all curves. The careful, atypically placed stencil marks complement Vanitas’ refined character, presenting a distinct slant on the average stencil treatment. Stylistically, Vanitas Stencil’s alluring, sophisticated sensibility is directly inspired by high fashion. The upright styles are complemented by a pairing of optically adjusted true italics, which were purposefully adapted to retain the sharpness of their counterparts. Loft is a typeface family of extremes: from the extra compressed Hairline to the extra wide Mammoth. Paris-based designer Julien Janiszewski’s aim was to create a type family based on a strict hierarchy — a suite that would provide graphic designers with a tool to create systematic solutions. Its design was inspired by 19th-century wood type as well as the sign saying “DÉFENSE D'AFFICHER” (Post No Bills) that is ubiquitous in France. Loft comes in seven weights with matching italics. Interestingly, counter widths remain the same across all weights. As weights increase, the characters extend by building stroke thickness outside the counter. Loft is space-efficient in lighter weights while making an increasingly stronger statement as the designs become heavier. The Loft typeface family is distinctive, versatile, and always intriguing.

Senko Hanabi (線香花火 - Japanese: incense-stick fireworks) is a type of Japanese sparkler. These traditional sparklers are said to evoke “mono no aware” - “an empathy toward things”; the flash of sadness when reminded of the fleeting nature of life. I am always a bit melancholic this time of the year, so when I created this font, I wanted to give it a suitable name. Senko Hanabi was made using a brush and Chinese ink. It is a beautiful font, which comes with stylistic alternates, discretionary ligatures and a sparkling amount of diacritics. Remains for me to wish you all a very happy new year. SK Cuber™ is an expanded monumental pseudo-pixel typeface. It is based on a strict grid that is not broken in any glyph. This makes the type more organic and consistent. The type's characters are monospaced, but they do not look ridiculous and do not cause discomfort as it usually happens. This could only be achieved by carefully working out each glyph. Dequindre is a monolinear blackletter typeface, and was drawn as if grade school handwriting practice sheets came in a blackletter variety. Dropping the thin/thick calligraphic contrast of traditional blackletter glyph construction and instead sticking to the bare skeleton of the typeface, Dequindre manages to bring forth a delicate, contemporary aesthetic that plays off of a core blackletter form. Overall portrayed with a softer, more friendly take on the angular, severe forms of 16th century blackletter style, and through pulling some of the curvier, smoother stroke qualities of Antiqua while still maintaining the overall construction and flourish of Fraktur, Dequindre sits in a unique space in the pantheon of blackletter typefaces.

PF DaVinci Script Pro is based on DaVinci’s own handwriting. He is considered to be one of the greatest painters of all time and perhaps the most diversely talented person ever to have lived. A Tarte Tatin is a French upside down apple pie. The story goes that one of the Tatin sisters (who ran Hôtel Tatin in Lamotte-Beuvron 169 km south of Paris), was baking a regular apple pie, but put the apples first and, realising her mistake, tried to rescue the dish by adding the pastry and sticking it in the oven. Tarte Tatin is a really nice all caps font. It was made with a Japanese brush pen on rough paper. This font family has derived from a lettering creation for my wedding stationery. One of the most significant momentos for me and my wife Xana (hence the font name - Xanas Wedding). I hope this typography can give a touch of informal elegance and discreet beauty to your projects. There can be multiple applications, since this font is flexible enough to appear as a custom text or a variable, organic, handwritten work. Initial and final swashes: you select a letter (like "a" of xanas wedding inicial swash) and then you type the other letters, but with another font (like xanas wedding bride, for example). In the final of the phrase/name, you type "a" or "d" and select this final letter and switch the font for xanas wedding final swash.

Hisham is a modern Arabic headline face, designed by the Lebanese calligrapher, Ahmed Maged, originally for Linotype-Hell Ltd. The Hisham design has a distinctive style with a strong baseline, relieved by strategic cut-away effects, which is counterbalanced by the bold vertical strokes and some strong diagonals. This somewhat compact font adds a new style to the range of Linotype’s Arabic headline fonts. This OpenType font includes Latin glyphs from Optima Extra Black, allowing users to set text in both most Western European and Arabic languages without switching between fonts. Hisham incorporates the Basic Latin character set and the Arabic character set, which supports Arabic, Persian, and Urdu. The font also includes tabular and proportional Arabic, Persian, and Urdu numerals, as well as a set of tabular European (Latin) numerals.

Neutral and universal are two words that could describe a kind of perfection. The search for neutrality and universality is part of history in type design; it was specially important in the so-called Swiss Style. Samplex is a typeface that joins this particular search. The design gets rid of unnecessary elements and stays away from style conflicts. The large and slightly condensed body of lowercase letters makes Samplex a good choice for long paragraphs, and especially appropriate for screen devices. Acton is a deceptively simple, grid-based design. Though derived from a 2 by 3 arrangement of blocks, it uses white spaces to allow for more complex shapes – for example as the R – where the underlying 3 by 5 arrangement is apparent. It also departs from this strict grid-based logic for characters such as the the T, L, f and r, whose cross-bars are shorter than they would otherwise be in order to promote optical evenness. No elegant solution could be found for the V, which in geometric fonts can appear very similar to the U, lacking as it does the cross-bar that can differentiate a square A from the capital form of the n. However, the resultant diagonal retroactively proved useful on the lower-case e and a, characters that otherwise would have more uninteresting design solutions.

Un Jour Merveilleux means "a Wonderful Day" in French. This font is a Modern Calligraphy script with stylistic alternates for all the lowercase letters and numbers for a natural flow and rhythm. Smaller and larger alternates are set to switch between each other within the Contextual Alternates OpenType rule, so make sure to enable this feature while setting text with this font. Alternatively you may select and replace characters from the Glyphs window manually. There are PUA encoded ligatures for the double letters bb, ht, li, ll, lt, on, oo, rr, ss and tt. The genes of the insular typographic heritage have been blended with the timeless classical style of the versatile Andron series. Whereas most Irish-style fonts available more or less stick to ancient designs, Andron-2-EIR is different: it’s an entirely new design in which Irishness meets the beauty of a matured Venetian Roman text face. Envision a new horizon for setting Irish text in its own visual mode! Now you can utilize Italics, Semibold and Small capitals for Irish just as you have been doing in other languages for a long time. I wanted to capture a sense of California with this font - generous, warm, open, bold and sunny - all this imagery is captured in Santa Cruz. It is the quintessential California beach town like the world-famous Boardwalk with everything from the Giant Dipper roller coaster to cotton candy, corn dogs on a stick and chocolate-coated bananas. In fact, the Santa Cruz Boardwalk is the West Coast's last remaining seaside amusement park. It has miles of sandy beaches, giant redwood forests and great wineries. I know you will find many great applications to use SantaCruz, the font, whenever you have a need to extress a warm, sunny and generous spirit! Cosmic Turtle is the belief that the world is supported by a giant turtle. It is mostly found in Hindu and Chinese mythology and the mythologies of the indigenous peoples of the Americas. I had to think of this, as the idea of the Cosmic Turtle is referenced to in the 1982 book ‘A Wild Sheep Chase’ by Haruki Murakami - my favourite author. Cosmic Turtle is a font that I made using a broken chop stick and Chinese ink. I was actually trying to create something scary for Halloween, but this is what came out and I quite like it. Cosmic Turtle is a fat display font with rough edges, wobbly glyphs and a set of double letter ligatures for you to play with.

Cell is a sturdy, geometric typeface with many potential applications. Though it is best suited to display sizes, its construction is simple enough for use in smaller settings. Its octagonal, almost mechanical design is softened by rounded corners. The face is characterized by a single thick stroke in each letter, lending it a unique appearance. It also features an oblique counterpart with several italic-style glyphs. Both members of the family also include small capitals mapped to the Private Use Area. Cell was designed to be at once simple and unique. Its grid-based structure is enhanced by slight adjustments for optical consistency. Glyphs which are normally round instead have 45-degree angles at the corners, sticking to the grid system without losing legibility.

The Northwell Family includes 6 font files; 1. Northwell • A handwritten script font containing upper & lowercase characters, numerals and a large range of punctuation. 2. Northwell Alt • This is a second version of Northwell, with a completely new set of both lower and uppercase characters. If you wanted to avoid letters looking the same each time to recreate a custom-made style, or try a different word shape, simply switch to this font for an additional layout option. 3. Northwell Swash • A set of 20 hand-drawn swashes, the perfect finishing touch to underline your Northwell text. Simply install this as a separate font, select it from your font menu and type any A-U character to create a swash. 4. Northwell Clean, Northwell Clean Alt & Northwell Clean Swash • Clean versions of the above 3 fonts, with the rough brush texture removed and replaced with a completely smooth edge. Ideal for specialist printing (e.g. Cricut/Silhouette Studio), or simply for a smoother finish to your designs. Fonts include multilingual support for English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Czech, Danish, Dutch, Estonian, Finnish, Hungarian, Norwegian, Polish, Slovak, Slovenian, Swedish, & Turkish. Standard Ligatures • Are also available for several lowercase characters (double-letters which flow more naturally). Ligatures will automatically replace the standard letter pairs whenever available, when using any OpenType capable software.

Started during 2012, LCT Palissade is a letter type belonging to the Didone classification. It takes over the Italian characters from the XVII century. Century affected by a huge artistic and industrial mutation, we assist to the eruption of the railroad network and Turner’s paintings. In typography, the Didones(XVIIe) begins to concede the place to the Egyptians XIXe. We noticed an evolution to rectangular drawings, that were heavier and darker. LCT Palissade is in fact the study of a history flow, crossing through the industrial revolution and romanticism; the result of a strong letter type, solid, strict the drawing is orientated towards very dark, reminiscent of the characters beginning XIXe. The serifs are the summary between the British characters from the end of (XVIe) and the Italian ones beginning of (XVIIe). In order to spread out the romanticism, they are very fine to allow a largest contrast and keep the elegance of the global shape.

Codeline Mono is a friendly monospaced typeface designed to appear more modern, softer and less formal than the usually robotic and strict mono fonts. While great at all the typical mono use cases where a technical look is needed, Codeline also creates an ease of reading not commonly found in mono typefaces. Warning: works with contextual alternate-feature, which is not showing here. Covergirl is a script typeface that works all by itself. It has a very high contrast, but works also in smaller sizes. It is a display typeface. Covergirl is based on handwriting. The basic shapes are transformed to a very high contrast strict form and the hairline runs through the words in an amusing lively way that simulates the writing by hand. Its scandinavian designed handwriting, decorated, but also very minimalistic. While writing the letters will be substituted by one of the variations of the letter, that will make sure that the letters connect well. When writing in only UPPERCASE a much more simple letter shape will substitute the default.

The birth of the monospaced types dates back to the past. There was a need for the creation of typesets for typewriters. The difficulty was to align the different glyphs in the same width. This led to particular problems with letters like “M” and “l”; the former seemed to be squeezed into the same width of all letters and the second one appeared way too streched. Despite – or perhaps because of – the impression of the typewriter is still popular with Graphic Designers. Nowadays there are even monospaced versions of primarily proportional types; for example the the Sans Mono designed by Lucas de Groot or the DIN Mono. Then again, why not the other way round?! In the first half of the Nineties, Erik Spiekermann developed a proportional type named ITC Officina based on the Letter Gothic. According to a survey on the 100 best fonts of all time conducted by FontShop, ITC Officina is in an eighth place, far ahead of its forerunner. This was the reason for me to create a wider design with a Serif and a Sans Serif based on the queen of all monospaced types – the Courier.
