The first flower that was created was for a the cover of a cultural magazine in Montréal (Québec). Then we couldn't stop and we've created a whole font with interesting forms of flowers. Please note that this font is unusually detailed and its complexity may exceed the memory limitations of drawing programs such as Adobe Illustrator or Corel Draw.

Douceur (pleasantness in French) is an all caps, serif typeface with a flourish. It was created by hand in one go: no sketches, no try-outs. The font comes in two styles: regular (outlined) and black. Due to style naming issues, the black version will show up as a different font. Douceur comes with all diacritics.

The City Burn, formerly called "The city burn night after night and we spray-paint the walls", was especially designed for Mad Skills Mag issue#3 Urban Flavour. It needed to be street, and urban, so I made a stencil font. It’s used by Fox5 tv for the rant TV show, the website infected.com, Fried chillies TV, and others!

Designed by Paul Renner and published in 1929. It shows an alternative method of giving maximum thickness to a font by being designed to resemble the use of a stencil. Amina was created using the DNA of Metrik. A neutral grotesque sans serif, chopped and remixed to create Amino. The ink traps have been raised to create a dynamic typographic language that makes Amina contemporary and dynamic. Hofstad is a font which was modeled on a poster designed by Dutch graphic artist Jan Lavies (1902 - 2005). Lavies became famous for the posters he designed for the Holland America Line of cruise ships. Hofstad font was named after the theatre group "Vereenigd Rotterdamsch - Hofstad Tooneel" for which Jan Lavies designed a poster. Hofstad comes with all diacritics.

Coda Pro is a simple but decorative and controlled sans serif design. Coda literally means ‘tail’ (Italian, from latin cauda) and refers to the way the letters h, m and n stretch below the writing line towards the end of a sentence or before a final stop. One of the type examples found within the pages of “Lettering” by Harry B. Wright (1950) is a bold hand lettered serif typeface with a unique twist – the slab serifs had rounded corners, looking very much like show card lettering of the early 1900s. This design is now available digitally as Maybrook JNL, in both regular and oblique versions.

In the days when sheet music was as popular as phonograph records for home entertainment, a song album was a folio of collected works. The hand-lettering on the 1940s-era cover for "The Sigmund Romberg Song Album, Book II" served as the model for Song Album JNL. Romberg was a noted composer of Broadway show tunes.

A famous 1971 photo shows boxing champ Muhammad Ali making faces through a window at Joe Frazier at the challenger’s training facility. A small sign sits in the window that says “Joe Frazier Training Headquarters” and is lettered in a simple sans serif condensed typeface. This is now available as Facility Signage JNL in both regular and oblique versions.

The term “Spaghetti Joint” is old-fashioned slang for any restaurant serving Italian cuisine, especially those featuring spaghetti or other pasta dishes.

Open Range is a new font design based on an old classics sans serif font from the 1800s. Some may say that this font looks like a western version of the more modern Benguiat but samples of lettering from the 1800s show a similar design to Benguiat and may have been the inspiration for that font.

Happy Reader is a font family conceived to make reading easier for dyslexic children. Recent studies show that a wide spacing of the letters favors speed and understanding of the children with difficulties. As a display typeface in expanded form, SpaceLab is a futuristic font of rigorous geometric construction designed for headlines or to label the intergalactic ships and other electronic and mechanical devices of the future. An assortment of antique, hand-punched brass stencils from Australia [used for crate marking and shipping] served at the models for Aussie Stencil JNL, which is available in both regular and oblique versions. The lettering of the original stencil punches had rounded edges to the characters; looking more machine rendered than hand punched into the brass sheets.

Jeff Levine's Eckhardt Inline JNL furthers a "mini series" of fonts and lettering styles popularized by sign painters and show card writers. Named in honor of the late Albert Eckhart, Jr. (owner of Allied Signs in Miami, Florida until his passing), this inline sans serif more closely resembles hand lettering than "perfectly designed" display type. Limited character set.

Master of the World was included on the front page of a novel in several parts, The Count of Monte Christo (mid 20th century). Typeface characters show design guidelines of the pre-war era (2nd world war). The idea of development origins from a wish to evolve traditional forms of typefaces which were used in Slovenia.

Macro Print is a display font available in a regular and a bold version. But it does not stop there. To create a unique, hand-printed feeling there are two sets within each version, therefore using the same letter twice in a headline will make the font look original and authentic. Yep, it is hand-drawn.

McCadden JNL was inspired by the hand-lettered credits for the George Burns and Gracie Allen Show [1950-1958]. Its casual theme offers a lighthearted approach to titling and display work. The font gets its name from McCadden Productions (the company started by George Burns), which itself was named after a street Burns' brother William once lived on.

A 1963 issue of Billboard Magazine contained an ad for Jimmy Smith (along with some other artists on the same record label) that was hand-lettered in a free-form style similar to show-card ‘one-stroke’ typographic design. This was the inspiration for Top Forty JNL, which is available in both regular and oblique versions.

Double Nines JNL is a dingbat font containing fifty-five glyphs for the tiles found in the second level of domino games. Sets of dominoes can be of either double six, double nine or double twelve. In this font, the double blank tile is located on the zero keystroke, while the one/blank and 1/1 tiles are on the 1 and 2 keystrokes. The rest of the tiles (in numerical order through 9/9) are located on the A-Z and a-z keystrokes respectively. Hell Fire is a hybrid of traditional early sign painters block and a hint of urban modern day culture.

Collegiate is a full font based on the lettering around an old mosaic tile badge at Liverpool Collegiate School.

In January of 2006, Jeff Levine fonts debuted with ten releases. Many of those first fonts were based on vintage lettering stencils, which were the "school years" catalyst for Jeff's interest in lettering and type design. Eight years later, his collection of fonts has become a giant catalog of display type ranging from Wood Type revivals to Art Nouveau, Art Deco to stencil, reinterpretations of old favorites, experimental fonts, dingbat fonts and typefaces reflecting a particular decade's styles of cultural popularity. Designs from old lettering books, type catalogs and advertising have also been fodder for many alphabets not previously available in a digital format. Along the way, many unusual lettering sources were also mined for type ideas. Vintage packaging, hand-lettered signage, sign making kits, rubber stamp type, water applied decals and at times just a singular letter example inspired many of the releases within this collection. It was a source of pride for Jeff Levine Fonts to reach 500 releases and a determined goal to grow the type library as far as possible. With this in mind, February 2014 brings forth many new releases. This one in particular, Ornery Polecat JNL, is the 800th typeface release from Jeff.

UTOPIAN is a color font family based on primary colors and pure geometric shapes, influenced by Bauhaus, DeStijl and Art Deco. Its pure shapes and basic colors are inspired by the beauty of simplicity of modular order and grid, creating a perfect environment where all these elements live in a perfect color harmony. In the other hand, DYSTOPIAN, the black and white family, represents a close sibling in appearance and structure, that carries an opposite meaning, with a darker look and feel.
