Goldana is a display layered font inspired by art deco. The base layer is regular; add an extrude and extrude shadow to create a dimensional look. Several of the styles can be mixed and matched together to create different style details. There are several fonts with a stand-alone style and script. The Script fonts are also equipped with OpenType features. (The shadow, drop shadow, drop stripe and stencil styles are not meant to be layered.) The Hamilton Wood Type & Printing Museum staff is honored to partner with New York-based graphic designer Louise Fili on her first font release project. The new font, “Mardell,” is named for Hamilton retiree and wood type cutter Mardell Doubek. This is the fourth font to be cut for the museum as part of the Wood Type Legacy Project. "The bold, lively angularity of Italian futurist letterforms made it a natural choice for wood type.” says Fili. This digital version presents Fili’s wood type design for use in web and print applications.

Amaral is a family of 12 fonts with a contemporary design style, based on different historical models. The calligraphic influences are subtle, best noticed in italics. The result is a set of fonts that look more "constructed" than "written". Available in six weights of the Roman and Italic types, Amaral has a wide palette of glyphs. In addition to offering extensive support for Latin sets, among many OpenType resources, each font contains small caps and contextual ligatures, totaling more than 728 glyphs. Amaral is an option for editorial design projects and other related applications.

DALEK is a distressed, small caps typeface based on the lettering used in the Dalek Book of 1964 and in the Daleks strip in TV21 comic. The fonts have overtones of Greek, Phoenician and Runic alphabets. The updated Dalek fonts contain a full complement of Latin Extended-A characters, and also include Greek capitals and small caps. In addition to the original Regular font, Heavy and Light weights are available, and optically corrected obliques for each weight. This quirky charmer is based on a typeface called "Les Catalanes", designed in 1952 by Enric Crous-Vidal for Fonderie Typographique Française. Appropriately, it is named for the king of quirky Cataláns.

Bazilic is an informal decorative typeface. It would look nice in greeting cards, children’s books and magazines, on candy and food packages, holiday posters and flyers. Bazilic was based on informal lettering.

Zanoix is based on text from an old horror poster. Comes with ligatures for both double letters and numbers. You will need to use OpenType supporting applications to use the auto-ligatures

Examples of Australian brass stencils used for baling form the basis of Farming Stencil JNL. The hand-cut look of this typeface gives a more casual approach to a standard stencil design.

A 1940s edition of the Speedball® Lettering Pen instruction book yielded the design that Brushmark JNL is based on. This lettering also lends itself to projects with tropical or jungle themes.

Catalog JNL is based on a set of vintage wood type. Its uniform, block-style appearance is perfect for projects where bold, readable titling will apply. Available in regular and oblique styles.

Shanghai JNL is loosely based on the title lettering from “Charlie Chan in Shanghai”, one of the long-running series of detective films featuring the Asian sleuth and his “number one son”.

The simple, chamfered lettering of Bike Tag JNL was based on a 1950s-era metal bicycle tag with self-adhesive letters that kids could customize with their name or any short words.

Cattle Drive JNL is based on some examples of a classic condensed wood type. Lettering of this period lends itself well to themes of Western life, carnivals, circuses or classic broadside posters.

JH Haroun is based on the calligraphic Thuluth script; It includes over two thousand glyphs and smart Kashidas to simulate the actual calligraphy. It is ideal for titles, book covers, greeting cards .........

Colonial Press is a font based on serif typefaces designed by William Caslon I (1692-1766) and various revivals thereof. Caslon is cited to be the first original typeface of English origin, but some type historians point out the close similarity of Caslon's design to the Dutch Fell types, presumed to be the work of Dutch punchcutter Dirck Voskens. Colonial Press harkens to the look and feel of newspapers in Colonial North America around the mid 1700s without the rough edges commonly associated with colonial printing and many reconstructions. The rough quality of the American typeface is believed to be the result of oxidation from the exposure to seawater during the long voyage from England to the Americas. Colonial Press is a heavy font that retains some of the handcut quality of these fonts while smoothing out the irregularities that make many of these fonts so visually distracting at larger point sizes. For the italic version of this font, I chose to emulate the more ornate letterforms that I have encountered, giving the italic characters a more ornamental feel. Colonial Press comes with full punctuation and a 362 glyph character set for most Western European-based Latin alphabet languages. It is a font that is designed both for normal typing and for larger, decorative display.

Lopsickles is a family in which the letters are based on lopsided, distorted ellipses. The family has four sets of letters that are combined in six different ways, yielding six fonts. Four of these fonts (styles AB, Ad, Bc, and cd) use the OpenType feature Contextual Alternatives (calt) to alternate letter sets so that top-heavy characters alternate with bottom-heavy characters. The spacing in these fonts is designed for alternating characters and will result in overlap if the characters do not alternate. The other two styles (Ac and Bd) are spaced normally. Style Ac contains the two character sets that are top heavy and style Bd has the two character sets that are bottom heavy. The Ac and Bd fonts have italics and backslanted styles that may be useful to suggest speed. Each of these ten fonts has an inset style designed to be used in a layer above the base font. This layering can be used to give the effect of hollow letters or to add a colored interior. Lopsickles joins several other alternating-characters families in the IngrimayneType library including Snuggels, CloseTogether, and Caltic, but is visually very different from them. It is a strange, unusual family that will get noticed.

Advertising Gothic is based on a style of fonts from the 1920s which was commonly used in advertising and poster design. The style is clearly influenced by the Art Deco movement. It combines deco style decorated initials with dramatic capital letters. The font comes in two different versions. Advertising Gothic Plain features initials which do not have the deco decorations and less fancy letter forms. Advertising Gothic Deo features deco embellishments on the initials and more elaborate versions of the main letter forms.

I used to be an exchange student in Canada. I noticed my handwriting was quite different from the handwriting of people who are from countries where the roman alphabet is used. So, I thought why not make a font based on my natural handwriting. This font can be used whenever a cute and different style like mine is needed. "Exchange Student" is extended, containing the full West European diacritics & a full set of ligatures, making it suitable for multilingual environments & publications. Enjoy!

Creepy...crumbly...spooky... that's Terror JNL. Originally an experimental outline font made in the early days of Jeff Levine's typographic work, it's been revised and properly spaced for the design professional. The font is based on Ray Larabie's 1990's freeware release Foo - and a hand-traced, weathered-look was applied to the letter shapes. There's no kerning and a limited character set - but Terror JNL is still perfect for any headline that depicts "things that go bump in the night"...

Santa Claus is a traditional Christmas typeface. Being decorative and based on antique, Middle Ages letter forms, it aims to be a traditional type for Holiday contexts. The lettering was drawn by Måns Grebäck and put together into a font during 2019. The font is of high quality, and comes with an additional Christmas symbol typeface. You can also use the numbers to access symbols. Example: Santa6Claus It contains all necessary characters and supports a very wide range of international languages.

Dharma Gothic P font family is designed based on Dharma Gothic and a distressed offshoot from the original. The glyphs that damaged by printing the original had been tweaked by hand work with great care. This family contains basic Roman, Italic, Bold and it’s Italic to suit a wide range of creative works. g, r & y have their alternative glyphs that can be used with OpenType salt feature. This font will be one of the most powerful solutions for printing and web.

Pincoya Black Pro is a font based on lettering found on a poster from the Spanish Civil War, complemented with graphics developed in “La Unidad Popular” (Chilean political coalition) during the seventies. Pincoya has many alternate characters in Opentype format that provide multiple options when composing a text. It is an ideal font for high impact sentences, logotypes, magazine layouts, poster designs, etc. Languages include: Basic Latin, Western European, Euro, Catalan, Baltic, Turkish, Central European, Romanian and Pan Africa Latin.

Retail Script was designed by Vince Whitlock in 1987. It is a font with strong, dynamic base forms and very small ascenders and descenders, which makes a closed, solid overall image. The fine white lines which are traced within the figures make the font a bit more cheerful and the shading makes the figures look three dimensional. The energetic Retail Script is best used in headlines in larger point sizes in order to preserve the look of its fine details.

Linotype Bariton is part of the Take Type Library, chosen from contestants of Linotype’s International Digital Type Design Contests of 1994 and 1997. Designer Alexej Chekoulaev designed his font in one weight to mirror the Zeitgeist of the early 1930s. The characters of this extremely bold font are based on the form of a rectangle though its rounded edges soften its look a bit. Linotype Bariton should be used only in larger point sizes in headlines which should really catch the eye.

P22 Wood Type is a set of four fonts based on 19th Century American wooden printing types. Wood Type Regular is a condensed Tuscan styled font with a lower case and international character set. Wood Type Small Caps is a variation of the regular with small caps in place of the lower case. The Luxx font was born in 2010 and in the 2013 has been redesigned. Luxx is based on a style of lettering often seen on Italian art deco posters and advertising of the 1930s. This font is very modern, and is inspired by the “velocitá-speed” of this artistic period. -OC Revolt is a variable display font made for the protest graphics of the NYC based T*#@p Brexit era Non-Complicit project who initially made guerrilla type with masking tape applied directly in situ or to silk screens. An uppercase only font there are alternate versions of each character on the lowercase keyboard. Double letter ligatures are used to prevent direct mechanical repetition of letters in the static styles and the Shift axis can be used to make each letter variably unique.
